Sure enough, there were some problems at Lawrence Lu's company, but fortunately, they were all resolved. It was already early in the morning when he came back. I woke up in a daze and saw him sitting tiredly on the edge of the bed. I asked distressedly, "Why did you come back so late?"

"It's okay, everything's taken care of." He forced a tired smile and kissed my forehead gently. "Did I wake you?"

I shook my head and stood up to pour him a glass of water. "Is it a difficult situation?"

He took the water cup and took a sip. "It's just some business competition tactics. There's nothing to be afraid of."

Even though he said that, I could still sense the fatigue hidden between his brows. I didn't ask any more questions, but just stayed with him quietly until he fell asleep.

The days that followed, as if to make up for that disturbing night, became exceptionally peaceful and sweet. We temporarily put work aside to enjoy our rare time together. Every morning, we would walk hand in hand to the beach, watching the sun slowly rise over the horizon, painting the entire world a golden hue. At night, we would snuggle on the balcony, admiring the star-filled sky, listening to the crashing waves, and whispering sweet nothings.

My design work has been going from strength to strength. My work has won numerous international awards, and more and more well-known brands are offering me opportunities. I've become a new favorite in the fashion industry. I attribute all of this to Lu Yuxuan, who has always been there, silently supporting me and giving me encouragement and strength.

We decided to travel, to see the world and experience different cultures and landscapes. We went to romantic Paris and kissed under the Eiffel Tower; to passionate Spain and admired the passionate flamenco; and to mysterious Egypt and felt the charm of ancient civilization in front of the pyramids...

During our journey, we met many new friends, including artists, musicians, explorers, and more. Each of them has a fascinating life story, which has given me a lot of new inspiration and reflection. I incorporate these experiences and insights into my designs, making them even more vibrant and appealing.

On a sunny afternoon, we strolled through the vineyards of Tuscany, Italy. The air was filled with the faint aroma of grapes. Lawrence Lu suddenly knelt on one knee, took out a diamond ring from his pocket, and looked at me affectionately: "Lolo, marry me!"

I covered my mouth in surprise, tears streaming down my face. "You really want to..."

"Silly girl, of course I do!" He smiled and put the ring on my finger. "I love you and want to be with you forever!"

I nodded excitedly, my eyes blurred with tears of happiness.

We started planning our wedding, and just when everything was ready, I received an anonymous letter...

Inside the envelope was a thin sheet of paper with the words "Caution, the danger is not over yet" written in bright red font. A chill ran from my feet to my heart, and the letter in my hand fell to the ground. Lawrence Lu noticed my annoyance and hurried over. After reading the contents of the letter, his expression grew serious.

"Don't worry, it might be a prank." He comforted me, but I knew, as we all knew in our hearts, that things were not that simple.

To avoid disrupting our wedding preparations, we decided to put the matter aside and pretend nothing had happened. However, that letter was like a thorn that pierced my heart and wouldn't go away. I became paranoid, feeling like someone was secretly watching us.

To relax, we decided to take our honeymoon early. We left everything behind and set off on a world tour.

Our first stop was passionate Spain. In Seville, we enjoyed a spectacular flamenco performance. The dancers' passionate and unrestrained movements, as if pouring all their emotions into the dance, deeply moved us. We also participated in the traditional local bull-running festival, experiencing the collision of speed and passion.

In Barcelona, we visited Gaudí's masterpiece, the Sagrada Familia. This breathtaking fusion of Gothic and curvilinear styles is imbued with whimsy. We also strolled along Las Ramblas, soaking up the city's artistic and romantic atmosphere.

During our trip, we made many friends from all over the world. There were backpackers who loved traveling, painters pursuing their artistic dreams, and chefs who studied gourmet food. They shared their life experiences and stories with us, allowing us to see a wider and more wonderful world.

We traveled with a French couple who were enthusiastic, cheerful, and humorous, bringing us a lot of joy along the way. Together we sampled local cuisine, talked about each other's culture, and created unforgettable memories in a foreign country.

This journey not only allowed us to appreciate the customs and cultures of different parts of the world, but also allowed us to meet many like-minded friends, adding new color and fun to our lives. However, the shadow of that anonymous letter still lingers, like a dark cloud hanging over our hearts...

The sun shone on the azure waters of the Aegean Sea, creating a shimmering scene. In the distance, white windmills slowly turned, creating a fairytale world. Lu Yuxuan and I walked hand in hand on the soft sandy beach, the sea breeze gently caressing our faces. Everything seemed so beautiful and peaceful.

"Lolo, marry me!" Lawrence Lu suddenly knelt on one knee, holding a diamond ring shining with bright light in his hand, and looked at me affectionately.

I covered my mouth in surprise, tears of happiness welling up in my eyes, and nodded gently. "I do."

At that moment, time seemed to stand still and everything around us became blurry. There was only him, me, and the diamond ring that symbolized our love.

After returning home, we started preparing for the wedding. We wanted it to be a unique wedding that would leave a lasting impression on us.

"The venue should be by the sea, and I want to make you the most beautiful bride." Lawrence Lu said excitedly as he looked through the wedding planning plan.

I smiled and nodded, my heart filled with sweetness and anticipation. Together we chose the wedding dress, designed the invitations, finalized the guest list... We personally took care of every detail, striving for perfection.

"Look, what do you think of this wedding dress?" I asked, pointing to a simple and elegant white wedding dress in a magazine.

“It’s beautiful, but I think you’ll look even more beautiful in that fishtail skirt, which will highlight your figure better.” Lawrence Lu said, pointing to the wedding dress on another page, his eyes full of doting.

We gradually sketched out the blueprint for our future wedding, and every day was filled with happiness and anticipation. I knew this would be the most unforgettable moment in my life, and I had finally found my own happiness.

The wedding invitations have all been mailed out. Looking at the beautiful cards, I can almost see the smiles on the guests' faces. We have also specially prepared special gifts for our friends who have come from afar, hoping that they can appreciate our thoughtfulness.

"What are you thinking about? Why are you so engrossed?" Lu Yuxuan walked to me with a cup of hot milk and looked at me gently.

"It's nothing, I just feel that everything is so beautiful, I really hope time can stop at this moment." I snuggled in his arms, feeling the warmth that belongs only to him.

“Silly boy, we will have more beautiful memories in the future.” Lawrence Lu gently stroked my hair, his eyes full of doting.

However, happiness is always short-lived. The next morning, an unsigned letter shattered the tranquility. Inside the envelope was a thin sheet of paper with a single line of printed text: "Want to know the true cause of your mother's death? On your wedding day, I will give you a 'big gift.'"

My heart sank, and a chill instantly spread through my body. My mother's death had always been a thorn in my heart. The police initially ruled it an accident, but I still felt something was fishy. Could this letter be related to my mother's death? Who sent it? What was their purpose?

I hurriedly handed the letter to Lawrence Lu, and his expression instantly became serious. He carefully examined the envelope and the letter paper, but could not find any useful clues.

“Don’t worry, I will get to the bottom of this matter.” Lawrence Lu held me tightly in his arms and said in a firm tone.

Although he feigned composure, I could sense the worry in his eyes. This sudden anonymous letter was like a ticking time bomb, shattering our previously peaceful life and casting a shadow over our upcoming wedding. I was filled with unease, unsure of what awaited us...
