Quick Wear: Welcome to the Crazy Scene

Chapter 135: Find a Witch (05)

After Carter asked the questions, no bizarre miracles occurred, which was very different from the divine inspiration he had expected. It ended abruptly, and when he handed over the crystal ball, he was still visibly confused.

For a mysterious question like this, can the steps really be so simple?

"Is this the end?"

In the temple, even the simplest blessing ceremony is more ornate and complicated than this.

"Yes."

Shen Jin saw his confusion and said, "The fact that the murderer committed the crime is already in the universe and before the eyes of the gods. All I need to do is recreate the scene of the past."

Carter felt a sense of awe and his eyes lit up.

"Master Witch, can you tell me the answer now?"

Shen Jin shook his head: "I did sense a familiar aura in the crystal ball. Unfortunately, I can't tell you the answer for now."

Carter's eyes were dim and he looked quite discouraged.

"But, No. 22, I can work with you to bring the murderer to justice."

Carter was a little disappointed when he didn't hear the answer, but he was delighted when he heard that Shen Jin was going to join and was sure that the murderer would be caught.

"Of course! If you're willing." He realized that he answered a little too quickly and looked at Hope who had been silent.

Hope received the king's order and used this mission to confirm Shen Jin's ability. Her technique was extremely ordinary, and she didn't even have any tools to highlight the difficulty of the spell. It was really... crude.

It's not difficult to see something from here. Perhaps, we need to continue observing her performance in catching the murderer.

Thinking of this, Hope smiled and said, "With your joining, Your Excellency the Witch, we feel much more at ease."

Carter nodded quickly and saluted: "Praise the gods, praise your majesty, praise you."

Shen Jin said: "It's not too late to thank me after the murderer is caught."

"Do you need any props?"

Shen Jin pondered for a moment, then instructed, "I need a thin rope made of wool, one meter long. Only wool is allowed."

"Ok."

"There's still time. Your ambush will be on the 22nd." Shen Jin said, "Before 21 pm on the st, I hope to see you and the knights there."

"Don't worry, we will fulfill your request."

……

Shen Jin packed up his stall and decided to go to No. 176 Victoria Street to check out the location first.

After all, she was new here and didn't know the ins and outs of this world yet, so she had to be careful. If she messed up the mission, her credibility with the king would be greatly reduced.

Not only did she need to catch the murderer, she also needed to do it spectacularly and beautifully. She also needed ample space and special effects to highlight her "magic prowess"...

Just as Shen Jin was exploring the future crime scene, she unexpectedly saw the rather mature little girl with blonde hair and green eyes.

Vici Street is not a prosperous street, but it is a street in the royal city after all, and there are small stalls on both sides of the road.

The little girl could obviously make a good living in the Temple of Light with her looks, but she was keen on running to the side of the Temple of Darkness.

Fortunately, she was young and was not targeted much.

Just when a believer of the Dark Temple tried to tempt the little girl to take out all her money to buy a completely black stone, Shen Jin finally couldn't bear it anymore.

She stopped the stall owner and the child.

"You're going a bit too far."

The stall owner spat, "It's a fair trade, a matter of mutual consent. How can you say that?!"

The child put the coins back into his arms, his emerald eyes fixed on Shen Jin, still without any ripples.

She just saw that the transaction could not go through, so she took the purse back.

"I won't stop you from killing a capable adult. But if you set your sights on her, I'd like to see if you dare to go with me to the city defense office."

The stall owner snorted coldly, muttering about what the sect's affairs had to do with the city defense army, and then quickly packed up his things and ran away.

The child stood there in a daze, watching him running away.

"Do you like black stones?" Shen Jin said, "Tell me your name, and I'll give you as many as you want."

Her smile was bright and her eyes were deep, as if to suck people in.

But the child just reached out and touched her dark eyes, saying with admiration: "It's really beautiful."

Without answering Shen Jin's question, he turned and left.

"Tsk, that's really interesting."

It's not just the child's behavior, but the energy deep within her that is connected to the mysterious murderer she saw in the crystal ball.

This means she has a connection with the murderer.

The murderer's next target is her, or she knows the murderer.

Shen Jin followed the child directly.

Shuguang Welfare Home.

The Temple of Light had built an institution specifically to take in orphans. After walking along the street for twenty minutes, the child crawled through a dog hole and returned to the orphanage.

Things are getting more interesting...

An orphan living in the Dawn Orphanage, but still obsessed with the Dark Temple.

"Little Yafei, dear, you sneaked out again, didn't you?" The nun, dressed in a white robe, reached out and grabbed Yafei's collar.

"Teacher Anlin."

The child who was grabbed by the collar admitted his mistake obediently.

An Lin was always deceived by Ya Fei's angelic face, and this time was no exception.

She only needed to have slightly red eyes and lower her head to get the teacher's forgiveness.

An Lin held Ya Fei close to her arms. "You are still too young. The outside world is too dangerous for you. What you need to do now is to grow up well under the protection of the God of Light. Instead of being dirty and not even having lunch like you are now."

"Sister Anlin." Ya Fei put her arms around her neck and said coquettishly, "I like it outside."

An Lin stroked her dazzling golden hair helplessly: "Then next time you go out, tell your sister and I will go out with you."

"If you're alone, Dean's mom and we'll all be worried."

An Lin put the man down and said, "Go ahead. I asked the cafeteria lady to save some food for you."

Yafei ran away, leaping and bounding like a gust of wind. Anlin shouted at the top of her voice, "Run slower, be careful not to fall."

"Do not worry!"

The child's response also came along the wind.

An Lin had no choice but to continue inspecting the welfare home. She turned around and was met with Shen Jin's dazzling golden hair.

Her breathing hitched, and she looked into Shen Jin's dark eyes before coming back to her senses: "Excuse me, why are you here?"

Shen Jin smiled brightly: "I met a little girl on the street who was almost scammed out of her money. I was worried that she might get into trouble, so I followed her all the way here."

"I see!" An Lin held Shen Jin's hands: "Thank you for your kindness and concern."

Shen Jin waved her hand: "Seeing her return home safely, I feel relieved."

"That child's name is Ya Fei, right? I miss her so much..." Shen Jin touched her golden hair with her right hand, with just the right amount of nostalgia and sadness on her face.

"Perhaps, Miss Anlin, would you like to tell me about little Yafei?"

"She and I hit it off right away."

An Lin looked at her golden hair, her eyes filled with sorrow and longing. She didn't know what was going on in her mind, but her face was filled with sympathy. "Of course!"
