After hearing Draco's thoughts, everyone couldn't sit still.
Chapter 24 Strange Twins
The ending theme song had already finished playing, and Draco guiltily opened the curtains to let the sunlight in. Harry rubbed the back of his head and looked at the 'corpse' slumped on the sofa with a silly smile.
"Are Muggles really that powerful? Aren't they supposed to be incapable of magic? Why do I feel like my soul is being attacked?" Ron's eyes were red and swollen, staring blankly at a point in the void. What was his first thought? Oh, these characters don't look very good. Why does this guy look like an owl? How funny...
"I am already a corpse." Gemini closed his eyes peacefully and folded his hands on his chest.
"No! Hold on Fred!"
"Thanks but I'm George, Percy."
"How about something lighthearted and cheerful?" Draco asked tentatively. He simply thought it was better to share his joy than to enjoy it alone. He'd only watched one and it was so bad, so what about the others? Draco shook his head and sighed with a look of contempt. His friends, with whom he had grown close, wanted to rub his face to vent their anger.
But it was just a thought. Harry was still there. Even though Harry was always a bit reserved next to Draco, he could be surprisingly cautious sometimes, especially when it came to Draco. The last time Sirius tried to touch Draco's head, which looked so nice, Harry slapped him away. But his attitude varied depending on the person. With friends, he'd be more gentle... right?
However, no one was in the mood to look at anything else now, and they waved their hands dejectedly.
Seeing everyone's red eyes, Harry remembered Uncle Lucius's experience that day. Then... ah, he knew how to cheer up his friends! He laboriously dragged a box out of the large cabinet next to the curtain. There was a clanging and banging sound inside. Draco came to help, and the noise caught the attention of the people sprawled on the sofas, who curiously ran over to watch.
Harry opened the box, which was filled with the Sun Blade that had just appeared on TV - a children's imitation sword wand specially made by the children's wand manufacturing company that Lucius asked to acquire. It had a flaming magic pattern specially engraved on it. It was a trigger type and was not very powerful, but it could produce very cool effects.
The designer was driven to the brink of collapse by the nitpicking Lucius, until Lucius took the company's R&D department to see a magical movie. It was said that the R&D department had been working like crazy, not only developing the current "magic wand," but also pretentiously designing several different sizes, arguing that this was for those poor half-giant children.
"Black blade with red blade pattern on the side,"
"The handle is white, and the scabbard is gray and white."
"And the flame-like shape here, it's definitely there,"
"This is it,"
"Big Brother's Sun Blade!" x2
The Weasley twins spoke in unison, and everyone's eyes lit up. After receiving a positive response, everyone picked one, including Ginny. After all, it was just so cool, wasn't it? Who says girls can only like dolls? Everyone excitedly, led by Draco, arrived at the area that had been burned by Lucius and had been converted into a spacious open space.
This place is perfect for children to play group games. The floor is covered with wooden floors, and you can tell that the house elves clean it diligently every day. Ron thinks it is cleaner than his bed.
There weren't many flowers planted around the edge, just large green meadows and a few three-story-high acacia trees with lush branches and leaves near the manor. They were closely packed together, forming an invisible barrier, but in the middle was a strange arch shape, and they came in through this arch.
There was a resting place under the tree, the style of which was a rare rustic one that suited Snape's taste, but it didn't seem out of place with the gorgeous Malfoy Manor. Snape sarcastically said that this was Lucius's best aesthetic taste.
Ron was the most anxious. He pulled the knife out of the sheath and was startled by the flame on the knife. Then he shouted "Unknown Fire" and "Rising Flame" with excitement with a red face. I don't know how the wand company made it, but it was really authentic. As long as you make different movements, the shape of the flame will be different.
Ginny exclaimed softly, and Ron's vanity was greatly satisfied. He felt that at this moment he must be the most handsome guy here!
George and Fred were studying the wand with shining eyes, asking Draco a few questions about it from time to time. At first, Draco could answer a few questions, but later he was really unable to answer. He was still a child. Although he was reading a book on alchemy, his understanding of it was still very superficial.
Draco pushed Harry, who had been visiting the Wand Company with his father, out to endure the Gemini storm, while he himself, rather unkindly, slipped under the shade of a tree to eat the dessert prepared by the elves. He slowly drank the sweet milk tea, his mouth stained with a circle of white beard without realizing it.
[Ding—New melon has been triggered, Gemini.] Draco knew immediately that this must be due to the Weasley twins. He clicked on it out of habit and began to read with gusto, wanting to learn about his new friends. He didn't notice that several of the Weasleys paused and stared at him in confusion.
The Weasley twins, Fred and George Weasley. Sharing the same red hair and freckles, they were inseparable, possessing a remarkable rapport and a cheerful disposition. They were wildly popular at school and were often called the second "James and Sirius."
Fred and George continued their research into magical tricks. Their inventions were a huge hit with the students at school. In the main world, Harry gave Fred and George his Triwizard Tournament prize money. With this money, Fred and George finally realized their dream. They opened a joke shop, Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, at 93 Diagon Alley.
Hmm, you know what, it seems to suit them. I wonder if they're researching this right now, I could invest in it ahead of time. The Malfoys have plenty of money, even though Draco is still a child. He and Harry both receive a generous monthly allowance.
"I wonder if 2000 Galleons is enough? If not, I might have to beg Mom and Dad for more." Draco calculated his allowance and felt a little worried. He didn't seem to have much money. Dad had left a contract on the table. He'd looked at it and it cost 2 Galleons upfront, not to mention the exorbitant fees later on.
Harry stopped the Weasley twins who were about to rush forward and signaled them to listen first. Even if they rushed forward, it would be useless. Not only could they not speak or move, they could not even move. If you don't believe me, look at Ron. He found that Draco really made a sound without opening his mouth, and wanted to go up and ask with great interest, but now he was standing ten steps away from Draco and couldn't move.
George and Fred were undoubtedly extremely clever. They knew there must be a secret here, so they dragged Ron back arm in arm without attracting Draco's attention. Ron and the other two should have been the only ones who could hear it; Ginny and Percy didn't react at all.
When Voldemort returned and searched for Harry, they, along with the Order of the Phoenix, drank Polyjuice Potion and disguised themselves as Harry. However, in the process, George lost his left ear. It was an accidental injury from Snape's Sharpshooter Curse. As a double agent, he had been secretly helping Harry and his friends, but the curse, intended for the Death Eaters, instead struck George...
"How are you feeling, George?" Mrs. Weasley asked softly. George rubbed the side of his head with his hand.
"That's beautiful," murmured George.
"What's the matter with him?" Fred asked hoarsely, horrified. "Has he got a brain injury too?"
"Sounds good," George repeated, looking up at his brother. "Look, I've got a hole. Hole listening, Fred. Got you got it?"
Mrs. Weasley cried even harder. Fred's pale face suddenly turned red.
"That's bad," he said to George. "That's really bad! There's a whole world of ear humor out there, and you pick 'hole listening'?"
"That's good," George said to his tearful mother with a smile, "Mom, you can finally separate us."
Draco silently repeated this excerpt from the Overworld in his mind, feeling bewildered. The Weasley twins were his new friends, and Snape was his godfather... No, that couldn't happen. It wasn't entirely clear, but Dad and the others wouldn't side with Voldemort again. Draco consoled himself, and continued reading with renewed energy.
Behind the big tree, Snape looked solemn and a little guilty as he quietly apologized to Mrs. Weasley, who was covering her mouth and crying silently.
"I'm sorry, ma'am," Snape paused and repeated, "I'm so sorry."
