After hearing Draco's thoughts, everyone couldn't sit still.
Chapter 133: Grade 2 and Chamber of Secrets 2
[On September 1992, 9, when the Weasley family took Harry to King's Cross Station, Ginny left the diary at the Burrow. She only remembered it when she was about to get on the highway and had to go back home to get it.
At school, Ginny quickly learned how to communicate with Tom Riddle through her diary, but at the time she had no idea that this person was Voldemort from her school days, or even whether he really existed.
Ginny wrote down all her innermost thoughts in her diary, including her obsession with Harry Potter. Tom Riddle's fragment of soul thought listening to the "childish troubles" of an eleven-year-old girl was boring, but he still patiently wrote a few words in response to her.
Gradually, Ginny was bewitched by Riddle's kind and understanding appearance, and began to become more and more dependent on him.
Ginny's emotional fragility made her easily manipulated by the diary. Riddle in the diary gradually became more powerful and finally controlled Ginny, forcing her to reopen the Chamber of Secrets and release the Basilisk, and write warning words on the walls of the castle corridor.
In addition, Ginny killed Hagrid's roosters to prevent them from harming the basilisk. The basilisk attacked Mrs. Norris, Colin Creevey, Justin Finch-Fletchley and Nearly Headless Nick, but fortunately, they were only petrified and no one was killed.
Pansy and the others all looked strange. How could they not see that Ginny liked Harry? They had met Ginny many times, and if they were to say who liked him, Ginny probably liked Draco more, always clinging to him.
But then again, Draco is handsome, gentle, and patiently listens to your troubles without getting impatient. Who wouldn't like that?
Ginny didn't realize what she had done at first, but she noticed something was wrong. She found chicken feathers all over her robes, but she didn't know how they got there. She couldn't remember what she had done on Halloween, but she found Mrs. Norris had been attacked and she was covered in paint.
Ginny wrote her concerns in her diary and began to suspect that she was the murderer who caused the attack.
It took a long time for Ginny to grow suspicious of Tom Riddle's diary, but she finally made up her mind and threw it into Moaning Myrtle's bathroom, hoping it would flush down the drain.
However, the diary was flushed out by the water in the toilet and fell under the sink, where it was picked up by Harry Potter.
Harry avoided Pansy's accusing gaze. Then he thought, that's not right, it wasn't him who went into the ladies' room.
After the first attack, Harry, Ron, and Hermione began investigating. They initially suspected Draco Malfoy was the culprit behind the attack because he had always hated Muggle-borns and was happy to see the attacks happen.
But after they used Polyjuice Potion to sneak into the Slytherin dungeon to investigate, they found that Draco knew no more than they did.
Do you doubt the little prince? Harry, you have such a guts. Pansy looked at Harry in reproach.
Harry secretly waved his hands and swore, indicating that he would never do that. How could he possibly doubt Draco?
After Harry found the diary in Moaning Myrtle's bathroom, he initially didn't notice anything unusual about it. That was until Valentine's Day, when Harry's schoolbag was torn apart by a dwarf delivering greeting cards. The broken ink bottle stained all the books bright red. Harry then noticed that the diary, also in his schoolbag, was still as spotless as before.
That night, he tried writing in his diary for the first time and discovered a way to communicate with it. Harry asked the diary about the Chamber of Secrets, and Riddle, in order to gain Harry's trust, decided to let him witness a memory of himself capturing Hagrid.
Riddle hoped to imply to Harry that Hagrid was the culprit for opening the Chamber of Secrets, but after Harry and Ron went to the Forbidden Forest to talk to Aragog, they determined that Hagrid was innocent.
When Harry's schoolbag was ripped on Valentine's Day, Ginny was watching. She was horrified to discover that Harry had found Tom Riddle's diary. She feared Harry would discover how to use it, and that Riddle would reveal his secrets to Harry. So, shortly thereafter, she found an opportunity to sneak into the Gryffindor boys' dormitory and steal the diary.
Riddle was furious when he saw Ginny writing in her diary again, and once again manipulated Ginny into an attack, this time petrifying Hermione Granger and Penelope Cruvat.
Riddle learned from Ginny that Harry's good friend had also been attacked. He knew that Harry would do everything he could to uncover the secret behind the incident. So, Riddle controlled Ginny to write a suicide note on the wall of the corridor, and then went to the secret room to wait.
The teachers at Hogwarts noticed Ginny's disappearance and saw new writing on the wall. They believed that the monster in the Chamber of Secrets had abducted Ginny and the school was once again threatened with closure.
Before being attacked, Hermione had already deduced that the monster in the Chamber of Secrets was a basilisk, but she did not have time to tell Harry and Ron this information in person.
However, Harry and Ron found a page torn from an old library book in Hermione's hand. Harry and Ron also speculated that the students killed by the basilisk 50 years ago were still at the place where they were attacked, and the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets was probably hidden in Moaning Myrtle's bathroom.
Upon learning that Defense Against the Dark Arts professor Gilderoy Lockhart was planning to go into the Chamber of Secrets to rescue Ginny, Harry and Ron felt compelled to share their theory with him. However, Lockhart had no intention of entering the Chamber. When Harry and Ron arrived at his office, Lockhart was about to escape from the school.
So, the two forced Lockhart to go with them to the Chamber of Secrets to rescue Ginny. In a stone tunnel deep underground leading to the Chamber of Secrets, Lockhart took the opportunity to snatch Ron's wand and tried to erase Harry and Ron's memory with the Memory Charm.
But Ron's wand malfunctioned again, and the backfired spell caused irreversible damage to Lockhart's own memory. The explosion caused by the spell also collapsed the tunnel, isolating Ron and Lockhart. So Harry had to enter the Chamber of Secrets alone.
Harry met the unconscious Ginny and Tom Riddle, who had regained his physical form, in the Chamber of Secrets. Riddle did not tell Harry that he was a soul in the Horcrux, but said that he was a memory.
Horcruxes! Hermione and Theodore, who read more and more books, have some knowledge of Horcruxes. Is Voldemort crazy?
Riddle reveals to Harry that Voldemort is his past, present, and future, and releases the Basilisk to try to kill Harry. Dumbledore's phoenix, Fawkes, arrives in time, brings Harry the Sorting Hat, and helps him peck out the Basilisk's eyes.
Harry pulled the Sword of Gryffindor from the Sorting Hat and successfully killed the Basilisk, but was also wounded by its fangs. Harry pulled out the fangs, but the venom had already taken effect. Tom Riddle waited for Harry's death, but unexpectedly, Fawkes healed Harry's wounds with his tears.
Just as Riddle raised Harry's wand, ready to kill him, Fawkes threw the diary next to Harry, who quickly grabbed the basilisk's fang and plunged it straight into the center of the diary.
Since the basilisk's venom is one of the few substances that can destroy the Horcrux, Voldemort's first Horcrux was destroyed. With the disappearance of the Horcrux, Ginny also woke up.
Hmm, a happy ending, that's pretty good.] Draco thought about the diary. [I think I remember there was a diary at home, but it must have been disposed of by Dad and the others.]
Ron and the others finally felt relieved as the plot unfolded. Hermione and Theodore finally breathed a sigh of relief after hearing the final scene.
Theodore and Hermione exchanged a glance, and Hermione nodded, pulling out a huge book she had found at Flourish and Blotts, and began to read it with gusto, amidst everyone's horrified gazes.
In fact, because the book was big enough, she quietly took out a blank piece of pure black paper and started writing blindly.
Mr. Grindelwald got this from somewhere. If you write on black paper, words will appear on white paper.
Everyone who could hear the inner voice had a black and a white hand, convenient for communication in an emergency. Hermione wrote down what she heard and gave it to the adults to check if there were any omissions. She wrote non-stop, but her eyes remained focused and serious on the book.
Soon, the train arrived at the station. The young wizards got off the train one after another. They looked at the long-missed Hogwarts in the distance and couldn't help but smile in anticipation.
"Hey, freshmen, gather over here!" Hagrid said gruffly. He was incredibly tall, holding a lantern from a distance, just like when they first arrived last year. It made everyone feel dazed.
