Female-male sex: Salted fish forced to rise to prominence
Chapter 42 No Reading Goldfinger
With the idea of biting off more than he can chew, Su Yu concentrated on holding the wooden sword and practicing the same moves over and over again.
Time passed quietly, and before he knew it, he had practiced this move tens of thousands of times!
Until he felt the last trace of spiritual energy in his body receding like the tide, Su Yu suddenly felt as if his body was drained out, and he collapsed to the ground somewhat powerlessly.
At this moment, he no longer cared about his image, lying limply on the floor of the space like a puddle of mud. After about a cup of tea, Su Yu gradually regained some strength.
He struggled to move his arm, trying to use it to prop himself up and stand up again. However, due to the long time he had used his right hand to hold the sword, his right arm was already sore and uncontrollable, shaking constantly. In a moment of carelessness, Su Yu fell heavily to the ground again.
"Ah, I'm so tired..." Su Yu couldn't help but shout loudly in the empty space.
At this moment, a clear and pleasant space prompt sound rang in my ears, like the voice of a cute little puppy: "Host, if you feel exhausted, you can try to soak in the spiritual spring, which can effectively eliminate fatigue~" Now he started to speak with interjections...
Hearing this, Su Yu's eyes lit up and he quickly responded: "Okay, thank you!"
After saying this, he calmed down a bit. This time, Su Yu learned his lesson and used his left hand, which was not holding the sword, as a support. After some effort, he finally managed to stand up and slowly walked towards the edge of the spiritual spring.
Su Yu stretched out his slightly clumsy left hand and carefully untied the strings on his clothes. As he peeled off his sweat-soaked clothes one by one, he stepped naked into the mysterious spiritual spring that was constantly emitting white mist.
Before long, the body, gently enveloped by the spiritual spring water, could clearly feel a wave of fatigue rapidly receding like a tide. Furthermore, the spiritual energy that had been lost in the body actually began to slowly return, becoming even more powerful than before.
Although Su Yu knew nothing about the reason, this wonderful experience gave him a guess: perhaps spiritual power is similar to the brain. Only by constantly using, consuming and exercising it can it become more agile and intelligent.
Just like that, after soaking for about an incense stick of time, Su Yu stood up and left the space, walked to the wardrobe and took out a shirt to put on.
As for the dirty clothes that he had taken off, he threw them casually into the bathtub - anyway, there would be servants to clean them up, so he didn't need to bother.
It must be said that this ancient society did have its unique advantages! It was like living a comfortable and cozy life for the petty bourgeoisie, with a skilled cook preparing delicious food, clever and well-behaved maids serving, and smart and diligent servants running errands. It was truly a carefree and carefree life.
Su Yu looked up at the sky outside the window. There was still about an hour until dawn. Today seemed to have plenty of time.
So he touched the peach blossom mark on his wrist again, concentrated his consciousness, and returned to the space.
He was still thrown outside the door, and Su Yu opened the closed wooden door as usual and walked to the desk.
Su Yu picked up a copy of "The Analects of Confucius" and began to read aloud. The Four Books include "The Great Learning", "The Doctrine of the Mean", "Mencius" and "The Analects of Confucius". "The Analects of Confucius" should be the easiest one for Su Yu. After all, the nine years of compulsory education were not taught in vain.
Modern teaching is not as strict as in ancient times. Only part of the Analects needs to be memorized, and the rest of the content only needs to be understood.
It is not like in ancient times where you need to memorize the entire book and understand its meaning. In the exam, you have to extract words and sentences from the book and write a beautiful essay, which is extremely difficult.
So Su Yu now planned to start reciting the Analects. He opened the book and looked at the table of contents. The Analects has a total of twenty chapters.
He began to read the first chapter aloud from the book, explaining its meaning to deepen his memory of the sentences.
Confucius said: "Isn't it right to learn and practice it over time? Isn't it a joy to have friends come from afar? Isn't it true that a person who doesn't know and is stunned is not a gentleman?"
What this means is that Confucius said: "After learning knowledge, isn't it a joy to review it often? Isn't it a joy to have like-minded people coming from afar? Isn't it a joy to not get angry when others don't understand me that I am a person with cultivated moral character?"
Youzi said: "It is rare for a man to be filial to his younger brother, but to be fond of offending his superiors; but to be fond of causing trouble but not to offend his superiors is rare. A gentleman is committed to his roots, and the Tao is born from his foundation. He who is filial to his younger brothers is the foundation of benevolence!"
Explanation: Youzi said: "It is rare for a person to be filial to his parents and friendly to his elder brothers, but like to rebel against his superiors; it is even rarer to find someone who does not like to rebel against his superiors but likes to rebel. People with virtue should concentrate on fundamental affairs. Once the fundamentals are established, the principles of governing the country and being a human being will also be established. Being filial to parents and respecting and obeying elder brothers are the foundation of benevolence!"
Confucius said: "Knowing one's words brings beauty, and one's benevolence shines brightly!"
Confucius said: "People who are full of flattery and sweet talk rarely have a kind heart."
Zeng Zi said: "My day and my body are three times: do you want to be unfaithful? Do you not believe in making friends? Do you not know how to pass on?"
Zengzi said, "I reflect on myself many times every day: Am I doing my best when I work for others? Am I sincere in my interactions with friends? Have I reviewed the knowledge my teacher has imparted to me?"
Confucius said: "A country with a thousand chariots of Tao should respect things and be trustworthy, be economical and love others, so that the people can keep time."
Confucius said: "To govern a large country capable of producing a thousand chariots, one must be prudent, trustworthy, honest, and refrain from deception. One must be frugal in spending, cherish the people, and when recruiting their labor, take into account their production and rest."
Confucius said: "When a disciple enters, he should be filial, and when he goes out, he should be a younger brother. He should be sincere and trustworthy, love others universally, and be kind. If he has enough energy to do, he should study literature."
Confucius said, "Disciples, at home, should be filial to your parents; outside, be obedient to your teachers; be cautious in your words and actions, be honest and trustworthy, love the public, and associate with people of virtue. After practicing these things, if you have any spare time and energy, then study literature."
Zi Xia said: "The virtuous person changes his appearance; when he serves his parents, he can do his best; when he serves the king, he can do his best; when he makes friends, he keeps his word. Even though it is said that he has not learned it, I will definitely call it learned."
Zixia said, "In a wife, one values her virtue, not her beauty; one serves his parents with all his heart and soul; one serves his ruler with his life; and one speaks honestly and faithfully to his friends. Even if such a person modestly claims not to have learned, I would certainly say that he has."
Confucius said: "If a gentleman is not serious, he will not have authority, and if he is learned, he will not be solid. The master is loyal and trustworthy. If you have no friends who are inferior to yourself, don't be afraid to correct them if you make mistakes."
Confucius said: "If a virtuous person does not behave with dignity, he will lack dignity. Even if he studies, his knowledge will not be solid. In his actions, he should be loyal and trustworthy. He should not associate with people who do not share his interests. He should correct his mistakes as soon as he realizes them."
Zengzi said: "If you pursue your goals with caution, the people's virtue will be strong."
Zengzi said: "Carry out the funeral of parents with care and offer sacrifices to ancestors with piety. This will make the people's virtues more honest and upright."
In this way, every time Su Yu read a passage, he would interpret it for himself. Fortunately, he had read it before, otherwise he would be at a loss and completely lost. By the time he finished reading the entire article, the general meaning was clear in his mind.
The next step was to recite it repeatedly and try hard to memorize it. However, the actual memorization effect was far less than what Su Yu had hoped.
Su Yu was shocked to find that not only did he not have the golden finger of being able to remember everything he read, his memory was even worse than that of an ordinary person. If he were in a modern body, he would have memorized it after going through it a few times.
But even so, he could not give up easily, and could only patiently repeat the recitation again and again. It was not until a crisp knock came from the door that Su Yu realized that it was already the hour of the morning.
With no other choice, he had to temporarily leave this mysterious space and go to unlock the door. Then, he washed and changed his clothes as usual. Then, the morning exercise of the new day began again.
