During this period, the aunt-in-law came to see Yang Mingxi once and asked about the braised food. Yang Mingxi asked Li to cut the pork liver, pork lungs, and pork head into thin slices and arrange them around the plate, put the small pieces of pig intestines in the middle, and then add some dipping sauce. Another one cut the ribs shorter, split the pig's feet, and mix them with tofu slices, put some brine, add some water and stew for a while, scoop it out and put it directly on the plate, sprinkle with some coriander, and it's done! Yang Mingxi drooled thinking about these braised foods. It has been a long time since she had eaten them!

The Yang family's courtyard was bustling with activity! As the evening approached, relatives arrived! Almost every family in Changshan Village had someone there, and the rest were Yang family relatives!

Wu's parents' home is in Changping Village, Jiaoshan Town, which is only ten miles away from Jiaoshan Town, but a bit far from Changshan Village. If you take the official road, it's about forty miles, or you can go directly through the mountain on the river next to Lao Yang's house, and you can get there in about an hour!

The Wu family had six brothers, plus a daughter named Wu. Wu had four older brothers, and the family was overjoyed to have a daughter like this! They named her Wu You, meaning carefree! She was doted on since she was young, and she was very sensible, always giving in to her brothers and sisters, cultivating a noncompetitive and easygoing personality.

Changping Village is nestled against the mountains, not far from Jiaoshan Town. Old Wu's family members are skilled carpenters and would go up to the mountains to select wood at any time. Mrs. Wu particularly loved the wildflowers there, so she would sometimes go with her brothers to dig them. This is how she met Yang Laowu, who was collecting firewood in the mountains. They both had a crush on each other, and after asking around, Yang Laowu went home and begged Old Lady Yang to propose marriage. Coincidentally, the eldest daughter-in-law of the village chief, Uncle Zhang, was also from Changping Village, and so they became husband and wife!

When Mrs. Wu got married, she got pregnant and gave birth to a son. Later, she got pregnant with twins, a boy and a girl. The following year, she gave birth to another son. Only then did Mrs. Wu feel relieved about her daughter, but she also asked the Wu brothers to send some things to the old Yang family at any time! Later, Mrs. Wu gave birth to Yang Mingxi, who was a little mentally retarded since childhood. Mrs. Wu also spent a few sad years with her. As long as she had some cash on hand, she would ask the Wu brothers to send it to her sister and ask her to take her niece to see a doctor! Later, when Master Yan wanted to take Yang Mingxi away, Mrs. Wu asked Wu Laoliu to follow Master Yan for many days. After she found that Master Yan had no bad intentions, she gave up following! After Yang Mingxi "got better", the master mentioned to her that she wanted to find time to visit the grandmother who cared about her after she came back, but it happened that her second sister was about to get married, so she was delayed.

From the moment the guests arrived, Yang Mingxi slipped out to tell her third brother that when grandma and her family arrived, they must invite them to the fifth room to sit for a while, so that Wu and grandma could have a meal together! But now the guests were almost all there, and the grandma hadn't arrived yet! Yang Mingxi was getting anxious.

Seeing that the sun was setting, the relatives who arrived early had finished their meal, and the aunt who helped was already clearing the table, but there was still no sign of grandma's family. Yang Mingxi could no longer sit still, so she took her fourth brother and slipped out of the Yang family's yard. She was ready to go and welcome grandma's family.

She figured the grandmothers would still take the mountain road, which was closer! She took her fourth brother to the riverside next to Old Yang's house, a little downstream. There was a small wooden bridge there, which made it convenient for the villagers to go up the mountain. It was also the only way for the grandmothers to come here.

After waiting for a long time, the sun had already set. From afar, she watched a group of people hurriedly approaching! Slowly, the scene became clearer. In front of her were two middle-aged men standing side by side, with a wooden stick on their shoulders, as if they were carrying something. The person behind them also seemed to be carrying something, but it was too far away to see what it was. In addition, her original body was stupid before, so she didn't recognize these people at all.

"Third sister, it's my eldest uncle, my second uncle, and my grandmother." After Yang Minghao said this, he ran out to greet them.

Yang Mingxi followed suit and ran a little further, stopping only when she reached her grandmother's family. She could hear Yang Minghao calling out to each of them, "Uncle, second uncle, first cousin, third cousin." Then, going around to the back, he continued, "Grandma, Grandpa, aunt..." Yang Mingxi couldn't tell who was who. She only remembered her fourth brother calling out to her first and second uncles first, and then following suit.

Just after calling out "Uncle", he saw that they were carrying a wild boar weighing about 300 pounds. He was so scared that he jumped far away and pointed at the wild boar and said, "Wild, wild boar, a big wild boar!" Then he screamed.

Wu Dashan glanced at Yang Mingxi and laughed heartily. "Don't be afraid, niece of the Yang family. This wild boar is almost dead." Then he turned to look at Yang Minghao and said, "Ahao, help your grandmother. She's a little tired."

After hearing this, Yang Mingxi turned around and ran towards Old Yang's house. She wanted to go back and ask for help.

Yang Minghao, supporting Old Lady Wu, had just come forward when he saw Yang Mingxi running away. He muttered, "What is Third Sister doing? Why are you running away before you even see Grandma?"

There was a thud, the sound of something heavy falling to the ground. Old Lady Wu tightly grasped Yang Minghao's arm and trembled as she said, "Who is that? Xi girl? She's back? When did she come back?"

Yang Minghao looked at his grandmother, then at the wild boar that had fallen to the ground in front of him, and at the cabinets and boxes that his fourth uncle and his companions were carrying. They were all now on the ground, swarming around Yang Minghao. Yang Minghao quickly said, "That's my third sister. She came back the day before yesterday."

Grandma looked ahead and saw nothing, so she asked again, "Is Xi girl okay?"

Yang Minghao thought his grandmother was very surprised. Third sister was fine, so why would she ask if she was okay? But that didn't stop him from answering, "Third sister is very good. She cooks a lot of delicious food and even buys us cloth."

Before she could finish her words, she saw the weak old lady Wu, whoosh, ran out. Another figure ran out after her. Uncle Wu shook his head and said, "You guys carry the things and follow me. I have to go after my parents. What if I fall?" Then he ran out as well.

Yang Minghao looked at the three people running ahead, then at all the stuff behind them. What should he do? The women had arrived: his eldest, second, third, and youngest aunts. Just now, two of them were carrying a pair of boxes. Old Man Wu was supporting Old Lady Wu, and the other men were carrying quite heavy things. Now his eldest uncle had gone after his grandmother and the others. What should he do with this wild boar? He was only twelve years old and couldn't muster that much strength. If he didn't go, would his aunt go? That wouldn't work either!

"Uncle, you two take a break, let us do the lifting." Yang Minghu shouted from a distance, and then several young men came out from behind him and rushed over! Yang Minghao finally stopped worrying. Big brother is here, and he can handle everything. He's just a kid, so he should just go away.

When the people brought by Yang Minghu got closer, they saw such a big wild boar. Several young men excitedly rushed over, replaced Uncle Wu and his cousins, lifted the wild boar, and walked towards Old Yang's house whistling.

Yang Minghu said hello to his uncle and aunt, then went to carry the things in the back. Originally, the four uncles were responsible for carrying a pair of wooden cabinets, and the four cousins were responsible for carrying a pair of clothing storage boxes. Later, they encountered a large injured wild boar, so four of them were assigned to carry the wild boar. The remaining things could not be carried, so the four aunts took over and carried the relatively light clothing storage boxes! Now that Yang Minghu had arrived with his men, he replaced the aunts, carried the things, and quickly headed to Old Yang's house.

In the courtyard of Old Yang's house, the other relatives had finished their meal. Old Yang saw his in-laws coming and quickly set up two more tables, telling them to eat quickly! But when he turned around, the in-laws were gone. The eldest son of the Wu family also ran away and ran to the fifth room!

"Youyou, Youyou, is Xi girl okay?" Old Mrs. Wu called out before she even entered the fifth room.

When Mrs. Wu heard her mother's voice, she hurried out to greet them. She saw Old Lady Wu running towards her. She quickly opened her arms, ready to grab her mother, and replied, "Mom, Xi is fine, fine. Please slow down." Then Mrs. Wu saw something else. Her father, who was always serious, also ran over. Frightened, Mrs. Wu shuddered and quickly stepped forward to grab her father and mother and said, "What happened? Slow down, slow down."
