As a trainer, he has the rain trait

Chapter 64 The Legendary Trio

Hot summer.

The sun hung high in the sky, releasing energy unrestrainedly. The strong rays of light shone directly on the earth, and not a single cloud could block them. Under the scorching sun, the leaves of the trees became curled and drooped listlessly.

Zhilin got out of the car and walked down the road, pushing his suitcase. The heat hit him, as if he were in a giant steamer. The ground was scorching hot from the sun, and every step felt like stepping on a hot pot, and the soles of his shoes could feel the scorching heat.

There were very few pedestrians outside the station. Occasionally, a few travelers hurried by, shielding their eyes from the sun with their hands and walking quickly, trying to escape from the scorching heat as quickly as possible.

After walking a few steps, Zhilin felt extremely hot and uncomfortable, and could not help but quicken his pace and walk towards the station.

The moment Zhilin entered the station, a refreshing breeze washed over him, like encountering an oasis in the desert. He instantly felt incredibly comfortable and at ease. The station's air conditioning system was running at full capacity, sending gusts of cool air gently caressing his face and washing away the heat from his body.

The high-speed railway station is bustling with people, noisy and orderly.

Zhilin walked through the bustling crowd, found his ticket gate, picked an empty seat nearby and sat down, watching videos while waiting for the bus.

"Where do we get the money to take the train?" a voice came from behind Zhilin.

"The boss learned about our situation and asked Zhenniao to transfer a large sum of money to us as activity funds?"

Real bird? Hearing the subtle sound behind him, Zhilin inexplicably thought of a girl wearing glasses and wearing an office lady outfit.

"Meow~ Boss is the best!"

The meow made Zhilin stop scrolling through videos and look back in surprise.

Behind him sat a man, a woman and a cat. The woman had long purple-red hair and wore a gorgeous and exaggerated black dress. The other man wore a white suit with a red bow tie, and the cat sat on the middle armrest.

Zhilin had a strange look on his face. What a coincidence that a trio could be found in such a big city like Donghuang.

So the real bird they were talking about was really the one they thought of.

The perceptive Meow Meow noticed the gaze behind him and turned around and said, "Are you eavesdropping on us, meow?"

Musashi and Kojiro immediately turned around and looked at Zhilin, their eyes full of vigilance.

Zhilin laughed awkwardly, "Talking cats are pretty amazing~"

Upon hearing this, Musashi glared and said, "It has nothing to do with you!"

Then he pulled Miaomiao and Xiaojiro away from Zhilin.

Zhilin scratched his head, feeling a little regretful. He wanted to chat with them more, so why did they run away?

In a corner of the station, Musashi stopped panting. Kojiro gasped and asked in confusion, "Why are you running? Are we right?"

Musashi calmed his breath and explained, "Do you know who he is?"

Meowth put his hands on his hips and said, "Whoever he is, can he be compared to the great Team Rocket?"

Kojiro chimed in, "That's right!"

Musashi rolled his eyes, "He's Zhilin, this year's Hinaho Cup champion!"

Kojiro scratched his head, "The Hina Cup is just a baby cup, right? Why should I be afraid of him?"

Musashi whispered, "I'm not afraid of that brat. Think about it, if he can win the championship, his Pokémon must be amazing, right?"

Meowth jumped up immediately after hearing that, waving its little paws and saying, "That's right! Catching his Pokémon will be a great achievement, meow~"

Kojiro smiled helplessly, "That's fine, it's on the way anyway."

"It's decided, meow~"

......

Ticket checking began, and Zhilin followed the crowd into the platform.

When the train arrived, Zhilin found a seat without much effort, put his suitcase on the shelf, and sat down.

After a while, the train started moving, speeding along the tracks. The scenery outside the window changed like a slideshow. The city's skyscrapers gradually faded into the distance, replaced by green fields and rolling hills.

Zhilin looked out the window and began to look forward to the scenery of Wulingyuan.

As time went by, the train gradually approached its destination. Zhilin packed up his things, dragged his luggage off the train, and took a taxi outside the station, not noticing the three little tails behind him.

After about a twenty-minute drive, Zhilin arrived at a quiet alley. It was lined with quaint houses, their walls covered in green vines and the occasional blooming flower. Following the navigation instructions on his phone, he turned a few corners in the alley and finally found his booked guesthouse.

The B&B was a two-story building with a courtyard. Its exterior was antique and full of local charm. Two red lanterns hung at the door, swaying gently in the breeze. Zhilin walked over and knocked gently on the door.

After a while, the door opened and a kind old lady appeared at the door.

"Are you a guest?" the old woman asked with a smile.

"Hello, mother-in-law. I'm Zhilin. I've booked a room here." Zhilin replied politely.

"Welcome, welcome, come in." The old lady warmly invited Zhilin in.

Zhilin walked into the guesthouse, where the decor was simple yet warm. The living room was furnished with rustic furniture, and photos of local scenery hung on the walls. The old woman took Zhilin to his room, which was small but clean and tidy. The bed was covered with crisp white sheets, and a small table and chair sat by the window, offering a view of the alleyway and distant mountains.

"Are you satisfied with the room? If you need anything, feel free to tell me." said the old woman.

"Very satisfied, thank you."

"Okay!" The old woman nodded and gently closed the door.

Zhilin put down his luggage, sat on the bed, took a deep breath, took off the Poké Ball from his waist and opened it. Dragonite, Shrike, Zubat and Froggy appeared in front of him one after another.

The space that was a little extra just now is now a bit tight.

The largest electric dragon looked at Zhilin in embarrassment, "Duck, duck~"

"Or, I'd better go back to the Poké Ball~"

But Dragonite has been in the Poké Ball for a long time. Although this thing is okay for Pokémon to live in, it is not as good as the outside world.

Zhilin thought for a moment and said, "Let's go play in the yard together. The yard here is quite big."

The electric dragon naturally agreed happily.

After opening the door, sunlight streamed down the corridor, creating patches of bright light. Zhilin, Dianlong, and the others walked along the corridor to the courtyard of the guesthouse.

The yard is filled with various flowers, plants and trees. The colorful flowers are blooming and emitting bursts of charming fragrance.

Zhilin pulled out a chair and sat under the big tree in the yard, watching the electric dragons playing happily in the yard, a smile inadvertently appeared on his face.

In the grass not far away, three pairs of eyes were shining.

"I told you! His Pokémon must be awesome!"

"Shining Zubat!"

"Plan begins!"
