After Cheng Mingtai left, Zhang Ran thought she could finally have some peace and quiet, but then someone else entered the interrogation room.

Huo Cheng's face darkened. He hadn't added much oil, salt, soy sauce, or vinegar, yet the dish he made was inedible even to the dog. He had no idea what had gone wrong. They actually had a housekeeper at home, so his mother never needed to cook. This time, he had only done so to please her and beg her to cook, all to achieve his goal.

Seeing Ji Qing pick up her chopsticks, he tentatively spoke up: "I've already looked into it. She's been framed this time. She's a top student who graduated with a degree in computer science. How could she have done something wrong and left behind evidence like surveillance footage? She's not stupid. She's clearly been framed. You have to have your men investigate thoroughly and clear her name."

"Innocence?" Ji Qing looked at him as if he were mentally challenged. "Even if she was framed in this case, what about the other cases? This time I will enforce the law impartially. If you dare to obstruct me, I will arrest you as well. It won't matter if Mom begs me."

Did he bring you food again? You and your brother have such a good relationship. Unlike me, I'm an only child. I envy others who have siblings."
