The birth of Xiao Zeming made her feel the breath of "non-loneliness" for the first time, but it also made her realize that as a pure body of heaven, although she controls everything, she can never understand the essence of the emotions of living beings.

Looking at the fate of the sentient beings below, which fluctuated due to love, hate, anger, and ignorance, she suddenly had an idea: If she could experience the seven emotions and six desires firsthand, perhaps she could make this boring world different?

Then, she concentrated her own soul, separated out the energy representing light, warmth and compassion, and transformed it into four crystal clear fragments.

These fragments contained a portion of her essence, but stripped of the coldness and majesty of the heavenly way, leaving only the purest attribute of light. With a gentle wave of her hand, the four fragments, enveloped in a stream of light, fell into the mortal world.

Di Jingchen: A fragment fell into a major sect that allowed people to cultivate to immortality, becoming its chief, a natural-born genius. She wanted this ray of light to experience responsibility and understand the weight of "calmness" in saving all living beings.

Ruan Siqi: The fragments are transformed into a heroic woman defending her country. She wants this ray of light, through the test of blood and fire, to understand the tenderness of protecting her country and caring for all. On the battlefield, Ruan Siqi, clad in armor and wielding a sharp blade, charges fearlessly, possessing a naturally soothing personality. She hopes that this ray of light, through her work of healing, can experience how compassion warms lives.

Xiao Zeming: The spiritual intelligence born from her dissipated power was now incorporated into the sequence of light fragments and returned to the human world. She wanted this being with a special connection to herself to experience love, hate, separation, and answer the confusion of its own birth.

Night Courtyard: In the final fragment, she deliberately incorporated a sense of "injustice." The fragment fell on a betrayed boy, allowing this ray of light to understand the cause and cost of "obsession" amidst resentment and struggle.

After stripping off the fragments of light, her soul lost some of its warm attributes, and the remaining spirit body transformed into a "dark spirit" form, continuing to guard the core of the Heavenly Dao.

At this moment, she was half the indifferent Heavenly Dao that governed the laws, and half a dark spirit imbued with the aura of chaos. Hidden in a dimension beyond the world, she acted like the most secret observer, observing the trajectory of the four fragments of light in the human world through a mysterious connection.

Seeing her bright other half integrating so well into life everywhere, she also wanted to experience this feeling for herself, and throw herself into the world as a dark spirit without emotions.

Now, as a dark spirit, after absorbing the emotions and memories brought by these fragments of light, she finally truly tasted the seven emotions and six desires.

The sweetness and bitterness of love, the warmth and bond of family, the sincerity and preciousness of friendship, as well as resentment, jealousy, unwillingness and other complex emotions, all flooded into her consciousness like a tide. Only then did she realize that she had indeed overestimated human greed during her journey through the Three Realms.

Human emotions are far more complicated than she had imagined. It is not a simple black and white distinction, but is filled with countless gray areas and unspeakable contradictions and struggles.

Once, perhaps because she was a dark spirit, she was filled with estrangement and confusion about the emotions of this world. She might not understand why humans would sacrifice their lives for a promise, why they would be ecstatic at a smile, or why they would be heartbroken by betrayal. But now, after integrating the memories and emotions of these fragments of light, she finally understood.

At that moment, her obsessions vanished. The confusion surrounding her own existence, the conflict between light and darkness, and the misunderstanding of the rules governing the Three Realms gradually became clear and peaceful under the baptism of these seven emotions and six desires. She no longer clung to her identity as a dark spirit, nor was she obsessed with the absolute boundaries between light and darkness. She understood that it was precisely because of the coexistence of light and darkness that the world became so rich and colorful.

The Emperor of Heaven noticed the abnormality of the Locking God Abyss, but when he rushed over, it was too late. He could not get close to there at all, and could only anxiously allow Ruan Xiaojiu to summon back his own light energy.

As the last wisp of light merged into her body, the dazzling golden light gradually dissipated. Ruan Xiaojiu's figure slowly rose in the center of the altar, her aura undergoing a drastic change. She was no longer the naive Ruan Xiaojiu who had first entered the human world, nor was she the dark spirit troubled by her seven emotions and six desires.
