The night was dark, there was not a single star in the sky, and dark clouds almost enveloped the entire city of Chang'an.

In fact, even on a sunny day, not many people can see it now, because of the curfew in Chang'an City, ordinary people can't see what the night sky looks like.

Of course, it is not ruled out that some talented men and beautiful ladies would invite the moon to drink with them, or some bored poets would look at the moon and express their feelings.

However, there is a high probability that they will not be able to see the moon and stars tonight!

In the sky south of Chang'an City, a huge guardian deity was riding on the clouds and slowly coming towards Chang'an City.

This guardian deity is twenty feet and four feet tall, wearing golden armor, with a face like a live crab, a beard like copper wire, and a ferocious and majestic appearance. He holds a tiger-head spear in his hand and carries a sheathless long sword in the bag on his back. The long sword is shining and engraved with the symbols of earth, water, fire and wind. It is truly majestic.

And this person is the eldest brother among the Four Heavenly Kings, the Heavenly King of Growth Mo Liqing!

Just as the Arhat Subduing the Dragon said, the Four Heavenly Kings came, and the direction they came from was the same as the direction they guarded.

According to the Buddhist guardian gods, the Four Heavenly Kings respectively guard the four continents, have the power to supervise the human world, and punish evil and promote good.

But if you think about it carefully, since the Conferred God, the Four Heavenly Kings finally converted to Buddhism. The so-called protection of the four continents should actually be monitoring the movements of Buddhist disciples in the four continents. To put it bluntly, they are like four walking surveillance cameras, and they have the right to deal with anyone who disrespects Buddhism and does not respect the orders of Buddha Tathagata!

Now, they have come to Chang'an City with the command of Buddhism, and sealed it off with the Four Phases Divine Transformation Formation, forcibly converting all the soldiers and civilians in Chang'an City into devout Buddhists.

Mo Liqing knew that this was a gamble among the big guys. In the gamble, everything was a chess piece, and only luck was the real treasure without any dirt. If this mission succeeded, Buddhism would rise again. If it failed, then Buddhism would be in a slump for decades, hundreds of years, or even thousands of years. Today, I challenge you to a duel as the Dharma Protector of Buddhism. If I win, needless to say, I will still go to Chang'an. If you win, unless you chop off my head, otherwise, even if my body turns into destiny itself, I will still go to Chang'an City..."

The Four Heavenly Kings were in charge of "wind, harmony, rain, and smoothness" respectively during the Conferred God Ceremony. These four words basically represent destiny. Therefore, even if they die, they can consciously be directly included in the ranks of destiny, thereby affecting the fortune of a city or even the national destiny of a country.
