HP: Becoming a Maiden Heartthrob

Chapter 94 It feels really good to be a hero

Snape pressed the issue of the Horcruxes.

How could Dumbledore hide it from him when it came to the Dark Lord?

Dumbledore had to explain to him that Voldemort seemed to have split his soul to create Horcruxes in order to achieve immortality.

"Horcruxes, immortality," Snape pondered.

I didn't expect the Dark Lord to have such thoughts...

Narilla emphasized to the Potions professor, "The basilisk's fangs can destroy Horcruxes."

She pointed to the notebook in her office, corroded by the basilisk's venom.

So you must take that thing and kill Voldemort.

"What does the basilisk mean?"

When Narilla hoped that Snape could help Dumbledore, Snape asked.

Of course he knew about the basilisk, but where did it come from?

Narilean looked at Dumbledore speechlessly.

So he didn't tell Snape anything except the matter about Peter Pettigrew, right?

Dumbledore coughed and pretended not to notice Narilean's gaze.

Narelle looked at him quietly, and after Dumbledore compromised and told Snape everything, she finally turned her gaze to Harry.

He looked at Peter with red eyes and lowered face, not knowing what he was thinking.

"Aren't you reconciled?" she couldn't help but ask.

This was the enemy who killed his parents, but he was unable to punish him personally.

If it were her, she would also be unwilling to accept it.

Harry looked up at her and shook his head, "No, Narielian, I don't feel resigned."

He was already very satisfied that he had caught the person who actually killed his parents, and that Headmaster Dumbledore would supervise that the person received the punishment he deserved.

He knew less about the wizarding world than Nalilian, and had no idea what further punishment he could receive.

But he believed in Nalilian, she would give him the best arrangement.

Dumbledore sent Narilla back to the Gryffindor common room first. He also needed to take Harry to the Chamber of Secrets, get the basilisk's fang, and rescue Professor Lockhart who was unconscious there.

It was almost dawn. Narilean looked at the portrait of the Fat Lady and couldn't help asking, "So this isn't a violation, Headmaster Dumbledore?"

Harry also looked at Dumbledore.

"Just walking around and chatting with an old man like me," Dumbledore said with a smile.

"What about the Horcrux?" Nalilian was still worried.

"Don't worry, Miss Ende," Dumbledore said in a very gentle voice, "An old man like me still has the ability to solve it."

"And didn't you call Professor Snape as well?"

This voice soothed the uneasiness in Nalilian's heart.

She didn't know how this decision would change the future.

But she also saw that she had the ability to solve those problems.

Let's take a step by step.

When Dumbledore took Harry away and Narelle returned to the common room, she saw Hermione, Parvati, Lavender and Ron in the common room.

But they fell asleep together, with the fire burning beside them, casting a flame on their little faces.

Nalilian felt as if a piece of softness had swallowed her heart.

Oh I see.

Protect the people you want to protect.

Narilean watched them walk over and saw Hermione leaning on Parvati's shoulder, her brow furrowed as she slept.

"Lillian..." she murmured in her sleep.

Nalilian nudged her gently.

Hermione opened her eyes and saw Narielian right in front of her. She immediately woke up and hugged her.

"Where have you been?" she asked, her voice filled with panic.

When Nalilian saw Professor Lockhart's manuscript, she ran out of the dormitory. Hermione chased her out of the lounge and asked her about it, but she said it was nothing and asked her to go back to the dormitory.

But she never came back.

She, Lavender and Parvati all came out to see what was happening, but they didn't see her. Then Ron came out and said that Harry had not returned to the dormitory.

The four men waited for them outside all night.

Narilean hugged Hermione, buried her head in her shoulders, and whispered against her fluffy brown hair, "I'm going to save the world, Hermione."

It feels really good to be a hero.

Women's restroom

Snape had already arrived when Dumbledore brought Harry here.

"Let me do it," Harry walked forward, found the faucet with the little snake in the sink, and spoke in Parseltongue, "Turn it on."

Harry's voice sounded like a snake's hiss to the other two adult wizards.

Snape looked at Dumbledore.

Dumbledore's expression did not change.

But they all knew that Harry only had wizarding blood from the Potter family and was definitely not a descendant of Slytherin.

Plus there's the matter of the Horcruxes.

The reason why Harry could speak Parseltongue also came to light——

Harry is also one of the Dark Lord's Horcruxes.

The door to the Chamber of Secrets opened, leaving Harry outside, and the two adult wizards entered.

In the empty house with broken walls and ruins, long pillars with giant snakes coiled around them stand in rows, and the stone statue of a snake monster coiled in the center is the most conspicuous.

The basilisk statue had lost one of its teeth, the one that Nalilian used for her notebook.

Snape was the first to walk to the basilisk statue. Looking at the basilisk in front of him, a gleam flashed in his eyes. "Maleficent..."

He could tell at a glance that this was a spell developed by Salazar Slytherin, the founder of Slytherin, in imitation of the Gorgon, the legendary snake-haired banshee.

Use petrification as eternal sleep to achieve longevity or even immortality.

Snape's fingertips moved.

Today, he had seen the views of two milestone figures in Slytherin on immortality.

It's not that he hasn't thought about it, but...

"Your high-sounding speech is no worse than those people."

He recalled the man's words in his mind.

But the people with whom he could discuss this had disappeared.

Dumbledore went to check on Professor Lockhart.

Lockhart had been sitting in the corner staring at them blankly ever since they entered the Chamber of Secrets, as if he didn't recognize them. Even when Dumbledore approached him, he didn't move.

Dumbledore tested him and found that although the man was alive, he was already stupid.

What Nalilian said about this Horcrux having the ability to absorb souls was true.

Lockhart, as usual after being over-exposed to Legilimency, had to be taken to St. Mungo's first.

It would be great if I could get a glimmer of memory about the Dark Lord from him.

Snape removed the basilisk's fangs and placed them in a special glass bottle. After exploring the entire Chamber of Secrets with Dumbledore and finding nothing unusual, he took Lockhart out of the Chamber of Secrets.

Shortly after they left.

The basilisk statue loosened its huge coiled body, revealing a golden crown holding a sapphire.

Then a pearly white soul floated out from the golden crown, and its slender fingers gently stroked the stone statue of the basilisk.

She gave it back to him.

Then he returned it to her.
