HP: Becoming a Maiden Heartthrob

Chapter 88 "Welcome, Nalilian."

"Where are we going, Nalilian?"

Harry asked after the two young wizards came out of the Gryffindor common room and put on their invisibility cloaks.

He looked at the profile of the girl next to him; her eyes were very calm.

She seems to have changed.

"Girls' restroom," Nalilian said, looking around and walking out carefully.

This was the first time she wore Harry's invisibility cloak. It was magical that she could see what was happening outside while wearing it.

What are you going there for?

Harry wanted to ask, but looking at Narilian's profile, he swallowed the words.

"Then be careful, Nalilian."

He reminded her of the path she was walking on, that they were almost at the spiral staircase, and that the corridors here were changing all the time.

"Thank you, Harry," Narielian nodded, watching the road carefully.

Harry looked at her and pursed his lips.

So now he was going to tell her that?

But that would hurt her...

He was conflicted inside, and he was thinking about it until they were about to reach the women's room. It was not until Nalilian mentioned it that he was certain.

I still have to say it.

He couldn't let her be fooled by that Hufflepuff.

"Na Lilian."

Harry called out as they entered the ladies' room and Nallylian began to search for the faucet with the snake printed on it by the sink.

"What's wrong, Harry?" Narilean looked at him.

"You know," he paused when he met her gaze, swallowed the Hufflepuff he was about to say, and changed the subject, "Is MacMillan a pure-blood?"

"You probably can't be with him."

He looked at her face and spoke carefully.

Will she be hurt?

Ginny told him that McMillan was a pure-blood and it was impossible for him to be with Nallylian, and asked him to try his best to win Nallylian back.

"I know," Nalilian nodded and continued to look for the faucet in the sink.

"You know?" Harry was startled. He looked at her face carefully and saw that she was not lying. Instead, she was anxious. "Then why?"

Why do you care so little?

"Don't worry about me, Harry," Narilean said, "I was mentally prepared when I started dating him."

Or rather, she felt relieved because of this relationship.

She was making a mistake by approaching Ernie, and if she was punished for that mistake, she deserved it.

"Here, Harry."

Before Harry could say anything else, Narilian found the faucet.

There is a small snake at the base of the faucet.

"Open it, Harry," said Narilian.

"What?" Harry was startled. "Should I open it?"

"That's right," Nalilian nodded.

The last time she was brought here by Voldemort, he opened it using Parseltongue, which means that only Parseltongue can open it.

This was also how she described it in her vague memory of the original text.

Harry frowned and walked forward. He didn't know how to open it.

But when he approached the faucet, a vague memory came to his mind, and he almost subconsciously said, "Turn it on."

With a loud bang, the pool opened a dark and damp entrance, startling Harry back to his senses.

"Where is this?" he was surprised.

"The entrance to the secret room," Nalilian replied, looking at the bottomless entrance.

Gusts of fishy wind blew from the cave entrance.

She then looked at Harry, "Wait for me, Harry."

She will come back as soon as she goes.

Go and deal with that person.

Throwing down these words, she walked towards the entrance, and was immediately grabbed by Harry's wrist.

"You want to go in by yourself?!" Harry exclaimed in surprise.

He was so frightened by her actions that he didn't even bother to ask her how she knew the entrance to the secret room.

How could she go to the secret room by herself!

Nalilian looked at him holding her hand.

But Harry didn't let go, instead he held her tighter, his expression serious.

She can't go.

"Come along, then, Harry," said Nallylian.

She didn't know if she could kill that man, but she had to take responsibility for the mistake of letting Voldemort escape.

Harry was startled. He could see her seriousness. He looked towards the dark entrance, his expression serious, and nodded.

He said, "Come on, Narilean, I don't like this extra thing in Hogwarts either."

He knew it was wrong and he didn't want her to take any chances.

But when he actually saw her choice, he found that he didn't want to stop her even more.

Hermione was right, if you're worried about something, just do your best.

If you are afraid that she will get hurt, then protect her from getting hurt.

Harry tightened his grip on Narilean's wrist, walked ahead, and led her into Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets.

The two entered the secret room wearing invisibility cloaks.

It was a long room, supported by a dozen long pillars with giant snakes coiled around them, the air was filled with a green mist, and only a few beams of white light filtered in, but one could see that the room was filled with ruins.

Harry was sweating as he held Nalilian's hand. He didn't expect this place to be so gloomy.

But he did not retreat and kept walking in front of Nalilian.

Until he saw the giant petrified basilisk hovering in the center of the room.

He covered his mouth.

Is this the monster?

The monster who let Mrs. Norris and Creevey into the hospital wing!

Is it dead?

Nalilian also looked at the petrified basilisk.

It's hilarious that the manuscript of the book Voldemort had Professor Lockhart write said that he discovered the villain's secret before he released the basilisk.

Wasn't he the one who released the basilisk?

What stopped others from releasing the basilisk? He was so lucky to write it.

"Nailyn," Harry mustered up the courage to lift the invisibility cloak when Nailyn was distracted, "I'll go take a look."

Nalilian came back to her senses and wanted to speak to stop him.

But it was too late.

"Collapse!"

A red magic light hit Harry.

Harry was knocked flying and crashed into Narielian.

Narilian felt pain, but reached out and hugged Harry. The wand in Harry's hand fell to the ground, and she turned to look in the direction of the spell.

It was a corner of ruins, a beam of white light shone through, reflecting a beam of white mist and dust.

"Didn't I tell you to discover this secret before him, Nalilian?"

A man's voice came from there, accompanied by a series of unhurried footsteps, echoing in the empty secret room.

Nalilian looked at the corner.

After a while, the blond man came out from the empty corner holding a notebook and stood not far from her.

He had already found their location, so there was no point in her hiding any further.

Nalilian looked at Harry who had fainted in her arms. He had his eyes closed and his brows furrowed, looking very miserable. The loose hair on his forehead revealed the lightning scar.

She laid him gently on the ground, opened the Invisibility Cloak, and covered Harry with it.

"I've come to an appointment, Tom Riddle," said Narilean, looking at the notebook in Lockhart's hand.

A pearly white ghost also floated out of the notebook held by Lockhart.

The handsome and gloomy boy looked down at her with a cold gaze, "Welcome, Nalilian."
