HP: Becoming a Maiden Heartthrob

Chapter 80 There is a fallen leaf in your hair

As soon as Narilla came out of the Gryffindor common room, she saw Ernest.

He had combed his hair, his golden hair was combed meticulously, and he was wearing the same light blue wizard robe as hers. He had picked it out and gave it to her after ordering it from an owl. It matched his golden hair surprisingly well.

He pulled at the corner of his clothes, as if trying to straighten out the wrinkles there.

Nalilian approached him gently.

When she got closer, she smelled that he seemed to have sprayed a little bit of perfume, which smelled lightly of wood and very elegant.

He didn't even notice her until she came to his side. He seemed to be very concerned about the unsmoothed corner of his clothes.

Nalilian smiled and suddenly shouted, "Hi!"

"What?!" Ernest was startled and turned around suddenly. When he saw it was her, he was stunned.

The girl, with her hair curled slightly and her eyes curved, called out to him, "Ernie?"

"You look beautiful today," he said, his face and ears getting hot.

She actually dressed up, and dressed very carefully.

She was still wearing the rose necklace he gave her.

Because Nalilian had been wearing a lot of silver jewelry some time ago, no one noticed that she was only wearing a silver necklace this time.

Nalilian walked up to him and said with a chuckle, "Thank you, you look very handsome today too."

The two walked side by side along the corridors of Hogwarts.

Today the sun is warm and the breeze is gentle, bringing with it the faint fragrance of green grass.

There was laughter and joy everywhere, and no one could tell that petrification had just happened here.

Humans forget very quickly. Although illness, torture and sadness will bring them painful memories, time will always smooth out such scars.

Seeing happiness again is the meaning of life.

"You smell nice today," Nalilian began.

The breeze blew the scent of Ernest's perfume towards her.

Ernest's face heated up. She noticed the perfume he was wearing. "It's a men's perfume."

"Like trees," Nalilian commented.

"It has a slightly woody base," Ernest agreed.

"Actually, I always thought Hufflepuff boys all had the scent of grass and trees," Narilean said with a smile.

"Because of our dean?" Ernest asked curiously.

Their dean is a professor of herbal medicine and always decorates the lounge with flowers and plants, which might have given her such an idea.

But what would she think of him?

"Perhaps that's the reason," Nalilian said.

"Actually, it's more about the feeling you give me, like those big trees rustling in the mountain breeze."

Even if they just stay quietly in the mountains and forests, it is a kind of enjoyment for people, and when they burn, they will be so dazzling.

Nalilian looked at the sun-drenched lawn outside the corridor, where golden light and shadows were scattered on the green grass.

She said, "I have always been devoting myself, because I am kind and because I am afraid, so I try my best to contribute what I think is insignificant."

They don't have the dazzling sun of Gryffindor, nor the jewel-like splendor of Slytherin, nor the crown-like summit of Ravenclaw.

They will not be kings, nor warriors who slay dragons. They may be knights, guarding the people who are ignored by everyone.

"So no one would want to not have you," Nalilian said with a smile.

"That's really high praise," Ernest said, his ears warming slightly.

He never knew he would receive such high praise.

For the first time, he was not praised by his family for his appearance, but for his character.

His ordinary, common character has never been appreciated by others.

Who could possibly think Hufflepuff was brilliant, considering everything he possessed?

He has been praised since he was a child for being from a pure-blood family. His parents are also proud of their pure blood and tell him that being pure-blood is his glory.

But what about him who is surrounded by layers of pure-blood family?

Does anyone care?

He always wondered if he had no connection with the purebloods, would he still attract the attention of those people?

Will he be abandoned?

The possibility was so frightening that he didn't dare try it, and the Sorting Hat seemed to notice this, so it sent him to Hufflepuff.

Here, he gets along with Justin, who is of Muggle-born, and he finds out what is the difference between a pure-blood family and a Muggle-born family?

He could even see that pure blood was ultimately just a symbol and would be replaced by the times.

But no matter what, he inherited this family and the crown of pure-bloods, so he has to take on this responsibility.

He never doubted this, but he sometimes felt that under the constraints of those pure-blood crowns, he seemed to have never been his true self.

But she could see.

She saw the ordinary him, but she thought it was good.

That's really good.

The sun shines on the heads of the two little wizards. For a moment, the time is beautiful and people can't help but breathe lightly.

The two young wizards went for a walk by the Black Lake together, chatting about the topics they had written in the letter before. They avoided Slytherin together and took another path to the Great Hall. They had lunch together and then packed a bacon sandwich and a beef pie for Hermione.

Ernest took Nallylian back to the Gryffindor common room.

But before arriving, Nalilian suddenly stopped.

"What's wrong?" Ernest looked at her with soft eyes.

"I realized there's one thing I haven't done," she said, looking at him seriously.

"What's wrong?" Ernest asked seriously.

Need anything done? He'll do it for her.

"There's always been a leaf on the edge of your hair. I've been looking at it for a long time, but I didn't remind you to take it off because I thought it was cute. It would stay in your hair," Nalilian said seriously.

Ernest's cheeks flushed and he asked embarrassedly, "Cute?"

That's indecent.

And let her watch for so long.

He quickly reached out to touch the fallen leaf in Nalilian's hair.

"A little to the side," Nalilian directed, "a little to the right, a little to the left. Oops, I missed it."

Ernest searched for a long time but couldn't find it. He became anxious and his hair became messy.

"Let me help you get some. You can't see it yourself. It's a very hidden leaf," Nalilian said quickly.

Ernest lowered his head obediently. He didn't think about anything, but he was embarrassed about the fallen leaves in his hair.

Nalilian moved closer to him, smelling his light woody scent, and kissed him gently on the cheek.

Feeling the soft touch, Ernest opened his eyes wide in disbelief, his cheeks and ears turned red.

After Nalileen kissed him, she whispered in his ear, "Fulfill your girlfriend's responsibilities, Ernie."

She immediately ran off with her beef pie and sandwich.

Liar, Ernest looked at her back as she ran away, reached out and touched his cheek that had been kissed, but the smile on his face would not fade.
