HP: Becoming a Maiden Heartthrob

Chapter 7 Kirsten Ender: No Mediation

Nalilian woke up in the medical wing filled with the smell of strange potions. When she woke up, Kerston was sitting beside her bed, which surprised her.

Keston's usually neat and tidy hair was unusually disheveled, and his face, which looked as cool as a star she had seen, looked very haggard, with a blue stubble.

When he saw her open her eyes, Kerston looked into her eyes in disbelief for a while, letting Nalilian see the red bloodshot in his eyes, and then he reached out and hugged her.

"Lillian," he said, hugging her so tightly she could barely breathe, "you're a fool."

Well, she shouldn't expect this cheap brother to say anything comforting.

Nalilian leaned on his shoulder and hugged him back, brewing her emotions and wanting to apologize to him for sorting to Gryffindor.

She had used Malfoy just to make peace with him.

Because with a brother like this, her treatment at Hogwarts would be better.

But when she opened her mouth, she met Cedric's eyes as he walked in through the bed curtains, and she swallowed back what she wanted to say.

Can't you come in later? She was ready to cry.

Cedric also realized that this was a time for brother and sister to open up to each other, so he smiled gently at her, closed the bed curtains and walked out.

Nalilian was certain.

Okay, the venue is ready, now it's time to apologize.

"Lillian," but before she could say anything, Kersten spoke first, "I was wrong."

His voice is hoarse.

"I was wrong. I should have celebrated for you no matter which college you entered. I was just, I was just too selfish..."

As he spoke, he buried his head in the crook of Nalilian's neck, and the warmth made Nalilian feel a little embarrassed.

But then she felt it getting wet and she was stunned.

It shouldn't be that serious. Why are you crying over such a small thing?

"I promised to protect you, but when I saw you being stopped by that bastard from Slytherin, I didn't take you away in time. I really, I really..."

Kerston's voice trembled.

This made Nalilian even more embarrassed.

Because no matter who saw her and Draco's figures, no one would think that she would be the one being bullied.

But the poor second-generation rich man's arrogant and domineering image that was deeply rooted in people's minds made everyone think that he was bullying her.

"Don't worry, Lillian, no one will bully you in the future," Kerston panted a few times, suppressed the dryness in his throat, and said in a firm tone.

Nalilian paused.

This little boy really loves his sister.

She hugged Kston back and whispered, "Kston..."

She felt very sorry for having disregarded his love in such a way, for having hurt herself in an attempt to keep him, and for having caused him such harm.

But she didn't regret it, and she didn't know how to reconcile with her angry brother.

She even felt a little relieved.

Because it feels really good to have him by her side and give her a sense of security.

They hugged quietly for a moment, then Kerston pushed her away, lied about going to the bathroom, and walked away with his head down.

He probably didn't want her to see him crying.

And Cedric came in like a relay.

"Lillian," he sat down beside the bed and handed her a cup of warm milk, "drink something, you will feel better."

"Thank you," Nalilian took the milk and whispered thanks, then took a sip and thought about how to start the conversation.

"Lillian, you were unconscious for a day and a night, and many of your friends in Gryffindor came to see you."

Cedric spoke softly, breaking the quiet atmosphere between the two.

"The other person seems to be called Hermione Granger. She was crying secretly and said that you were bullied by Malfoy because of her, so she would tell Professor McGonagall, the head of Gryffindor."

"Ah?" Nalilian was stunned.

Oh no.

She designed Malfoy to attack her, not only to make Kxton pay attention to her, but also to prevent Malfoy from daring to complain if he did something wrong.

Once someone complains about her, she will leave a bad impression on the teacher. Regardless of whether she is the victim or not, the teacher will regard her as a troublemaker and avoid her.

She knows this very well.

"No, I'm going to stop Hermione," Narilean threw back the quilt and tried to get out of bed.

But Cedric's next words stopped her in her tracks.

"Don't worry, Lillian, Hermione didn't tell Professor McGonagall. I stopped her."

Cedric smiled and pulled the quilt over her, which made Nalilian breathe a sigh of relief.

Fortunately, Cedric understood her intention of letting Malfoy attack her, and fortunately, he knew what to do.

Nalilian sat back on the bed and looked at Cedric to say thank you.

But her relaxed heart rose to her throat at Cedric's next words.

"I asked her to tell the principal. Only the principal can resolve this matter."

Nalilian looked at Cedric dully, and Cedric smiled at her.

She covered her face. Her old swan, how could she not see that Cedric was the one who would cause trouble?

*

A simple case of a Muggle-born wizard bullying a pure-blood boy, after being turned by Nalilian into a pure-blood boy attacking a mudblood, seemed to be about to detonate the bomb that existed between pure-blood and Muggle-born wizards.

As the headmaster, Dumbledore would naturally not sit idly by.

Summoned by Professor McGonagall, Narilla recovered and was led by Kerston into the headmaster's office.

This office is located on the eighth floor of Hogwarts, a place few people go to.

There is a drip stone sculpture at the entrance of the office. It is the key to open the office. You need to say the command to it to activate it and open the door to the principal's office.

This time it’s sour bubble gum, which clearly highlights the office owner’s hobby.

After giving the dripstone a command to open it, Kerston led Narilian inside.

It was a spacious circular room, with tables on either side with spindly legs, on which were various silver items, emitting small wisps of white smoke, and on the walls were various magical portraits, and the people inside were dozing.

In the middle of the room was a huge table with claw-shaped corners. An old wizard with a white beard sat behind the table, observing her with a pair of blue eyes behind the meniscus lenses.

Also waiting on the side were Hermione with red eyes, Draco Malfoy with a stiff expression, and Professor Snape with a gloomy face.

"Lillian!" Seeing that Nalilian was intact, Hermione stepped forward and hugged her, her fingers trembling.

She was just a young wizard who had just dabbled in magic. When she saw Nariel lying on the hospital bed, she thought she had been cursed by the evil Malfoy.

Luckily she's okay.

"I'm fine, Hermione, don't worry. Madam Pomfrey said I'm recovering well," Narilean patted her back to reassure her, her eyes glancing over at Draco.

He avoided her sight awkwardly.

It's not difficult to guess that he must have told the whole story in a lavish manner, and he would have inevitably exaggerated how she bullied him.

Now it depends on what attitude Headmaster Dumbledore has.

Narilean tore her eyes away from him and met Dumbledore's gaze again, who gave her a reassuring smile.

"Well, Miss Granger, I think you should be more curious about what happened between Miss Ender and Mr. Malfoy. Could Miss Ender tell us about it?"

Dumbledore said, his tone soft but unyielding.

Hermione let go of Narilla, held her hand, and whispered to her not to worry, that Headmaster Dumbledore would take care of them.

Nalilian smiled bitterly in her heart. She didn't think Dumbledore would stand on her side after she said that.

But she quickly gathered her thoughts and began to narrate, "I was relaxing by the Black Lake when I met Mr. Malfoy. I wanted to avoid him, but he stopped me and told me to say bad things about Hermione with his wand."

She paused here as Hermione's grip on her hand tightened.

She continued, "I didn't say it out loud, but I was afraid Mr. Malfoy would cast a spell on me. Of course, I couldn't just stand there and wait for him to attack. I heard him say that the Malfoy family is very powerful, so I raised my wand too."

"And then you put a curse on me!" Draco said angrily in a shrill voice.

"I lied to you about that," Nalilian said, looking at his red cheeks.

"I'm only a first-year student. I only took one class in Charms, and I learned the Transfiguration Charm. What curses do I know?"

"You said your brother taught you!" Draco retorted with wide eyes.

But he was soon startled by Kerston standing behind Nalilian.

Because the other person's complexion is as ugly as Professor Snape's.

"I didn't have time to teach her, you know, Malfoy bastard?"

Kerston said it in a cold voice without any scruples, his tone showing undisguised anger.

"I think you should both calm down, Mr. Ender and Mr. Malfoy, or I'll ask you to leave."

Seeing that the situation was about to get out of control, Dumbledore gently tried to persuade him.

"Let's listen to Miss Ende's words before expressing our opinions, okay?"

When he finished speaking, he looked at Nalilian, indicating that she could continue.

Nalilian tried her best to appear a little scared, otherwise it would not be suitable for her age.

She continued, "I actually said something random, then rushed over and knocked Malfoy down, ready to hit him. That's what I did when other girls were about to bully me in my previous school, but I didn't do it because Malfoy started crying when he saw my fist. I didn't expect him to be more cowardly than the girls."

"Liar!" Draco screamed, interrupting her. "I wasn't crying! You're lying, I wasn't crying!"

But the redness in the corners of his eyes was not convincing at all.

Oh, Narilla thought, it seems that he didn't tell Dumbledore about this because he was too embarrassed to say it.

"Yes, you didn't cry," Nalilian sighed and compromised.

But that made Draco scream even louder.

He didn't make any sound until Professor Snape muttered, "Shut up!"

"Anyway, I was scared. This was the first time I made someone cry. I stood there and thought for a long time. I'm not good at comforting people, so I lied to him and said that the spell I just cast would make people unhappy. The more they cry, the more unfortunate they become."

Nalilian said sadly, "But he didn't believe me and even cursed me. I told him my brother was Kerston, which scared him. I stood up and prepared to leave, but as soon as I turned around, I heard him shouting curses. Then I fainted and woke up in the hospital wing."

After telling the whole story, Nalilian looked at Dumbledore, looking very lonely.

The other party also laughed, obviously treating this as a quarrel between children.

He also had to let them treat this as a child's fight.

"You are a liar. You attacked me with a curse. You cursed me to be a supporting role for the rest of my life and to lose everything!"

Draco yelled with red eyes, making Nalilian feel like he was about to cry again.

"That's enough," his headmaster, Professor Snape, said gloomily, "You were bullied by a girl and cried, and then you attacked her. I don't think you would do such a stupid thing if you had any brains. Have you thrown your upbringing to the dogs?"

Although he said so, his eyes were cast on Nalilian, and those dark eyes like tunnels really made her heart palpitate.

This character is so dark and deep.

"I am also responsible for this matter," Kerston, who had been behind Narilla, suddenly stepped forward and blocked Snape's sight.

He said, "Nallyllian went out to relax because of me. I ignored her this week. I was angry because she wasn't in the same house as me. I raised her since she was a child and she relied on me very much, so it was natural that she would be depressed. Later, when I saw her being stopped by Malfoy, I didn't rush over to take her away immediately. I was a very remiss brother."

He explained the part that Narilla had not mentioned, worried that Headmaster Dumbledore would think that Narilla was hiding something.

Dumbledore said kindly, "I can see, Mr. Ender, that you care deeply for Miss Ender."

"Yes, Professor Dumbledore," Kersten replied, "So I'd like to know what exactly Malfoy said about my sister. Could you please ask him to repeat it?"

These words made Dumbledore's smile disappear, revealing a look of headache.
