HP: Becoming a Maiden Heartthrob

Chapter 68 Respect, Understanding, Support, and Lockdown

Nalilian was a silver shelf for a few days. At the beginning, she was surrounded by people and wanted to shrink herself. Later, she didn't care about being rotten and didn't care about others watching her. But it only lasted for a few days.

Fortunately, Tom did not let her have any overly intimate dreams these days. In her dreams, he just sat with her in the corner of the library and read books.

In his memory, Li En was a girl who loved reading, especially Muggle books. She was as quiet as a plant and was often bullied by Slytherins, but she would never fight back.

Totally different from her.

Nalilian swore that she would never stand such bullying and would retaliate no matter what.

What's the old Chinese saying? He who does not seek revenge is a fool.

By the second week of December, the professors began collecting the list of names for those who would be staying at school for Christmas. Narilla followed Kerstin to fill it out and saw that Hermione had chosen to stay at school.

Was it for the Polyjuice Potion?

Narilla went to look at the names on the Slytherin side and saw Malfoy.

It seems that their plan to disguise themselves as Malfoy's followers and infiltrate Malfoy will be carried out this Christmas.

When Narilla returned to the dormitory in the evening, Hermione still hadn't come back, so Lavender talked to her about their potions class in the afternoon. They were making a swelling potion, Goyle's cauldron exploded, and Professor Snape fished out a firework from Goyle's cauldron.

Narilla remembered that this was probably because Hermione and the others were trying to steal Professor Snape's herbs in order to make Polyjuice Potion, so they blew up the cauldron in the Potions class to attract Professor Snape's attention so that they could steal the herbs.

"It's a good thing you didn't go. You don't know how terrible it was to get touched by that potion. Parvati was swollen like a pig's head," Lavender said, waiting for Parvati to scold her.

But Parvati didn't move at all.

Lavender looked at Parvati and Nalilian also looked at Parvati.

Parvati cared a lot about her appearance, and it was impossible for her not to react when Lavender said that to her.

But Parvati sat on the bed without moving.

Nalilian was startled and called out softly, "Parvati?"

"Sorry," Parvati's weak voice came from behind the bed curtains, "I was just sleepy."

Nalilian subconsciously glanced at her bedside table, frowned, then stood up and walked to Parvati's bed and opened the curtains.

"What's wrong?" Parvati sat on the bed and looked at her with her beautiful big eyes.

Her face was rosy and nothing seemed unusual.

"No, I'm sorry," Nalilian shook her head.

She thought Parvati was also under Voldemort's control.

Nalilian pulled the bed curtains, but her eyes met Lavender's. She winked at her and walked towards the bathroom.

Nalilian followed.

Ravindra came to the door and whispered as if he was doing something shameful, "You noticed it too, Lillian."

Nalilian nodded, "Parvati seems a little, abnormal."

Could it be because of the laptop?

She thought of the time when Colin was attacked by a basilisk.

Could it be that the basilisk really attacks people on its own?

Just as doubts crossed Nallylian's mind, she heard Lavender say, "I think she might be in love."

"What?" Nalilian looked at Lavender in fear and saw that she had a serious face and frowned.

"That's not what Parvati looks like when she's in love," she asked uncertainly.

"Why, no one knows what it's like to be in love," said Lavender.

Nalilian nodded.

She agreed with this. After all, it would be very abnormal for Lavender to fall in love with Ron in the future. She still had a clear memory of Ron chasing after him and kissing him.

"And this is certainly not an ordinary love affair that made Parvati behave like that," Lavender said mysteriously.

"This is a forbidden love story between a teacher and a student."

Nalilian's eyes widened. "What do you mean?"

Lavender smiled, "Parvati has a crush on Professor Lockhart!"

what?

Nalilian's mind exploded.

How could Parvati possibly have a crush on Professor Lockhart?

It’s not in the original text either.

Nallylian couldn't figure it out, so when she went to the Great Hall to sit next to Kersten in the morning, she would look from time to time at Parvati at the Gryffindor table and then at Professor Lockhart at the teachers' table.

Professor Lockhart was wearing a blue and gold wizard robe today, which looked very cool with his golden hair. He was chattering excitedly with Professor Snape next to him.

Professor Snape had a cold expression on his face, as if to ask, "When will this person next to me die?"

How could Parvati like Professor Lockhart?

Nalilian frowned.

In fact, if you look closely, Professor Lockhart has quite handsome features. He might be the type that is easy to look at.

But how did Parvati end up having a crush on Professor Lockhart?

I can’t figure it out. My family members really can’t figure it out…

"Lillian," Cedric leaned over to her ear and whispered softly when she was extremely confused, "Did anything happen over there?"

"Sed," Nalilian muttered subconsciously while looking at the professor's chair, "Do you think it's likely that a student and a professor will fall in love?"

These words froze Kerston, who was eating. He looked at Nalilian with an expression that said, "The child has grown up and it's time to beat him."

Cedric smiled benevolently, "No way. If she had a brother, the chances of her being beaten would increase significantly."

Nalilian came to her senses, glanced at Kerston's face, and after receiving a red card warning from the other party, she sat up straight and started to eat.

But she wasn't the one who fell in love with the professor, so why did he look like he was going to hit someone?

However, Nalilian still expressed respect and blessing for this matter. The specific way of expression was to listen to Lavender talk about the daily life of Parvati and Professor Lockhart's secret meetings.

"As soon as Defense Against the Dark Arts class is over, Parvati will go to Professor Lockhart to ask for knowledge," Lavender said.

Nalilian frowned.

"You know what Professor Lockhart teaches," Lavender shrugged. "I don't know what there is to ask anyway."

"Very well, and can you believe he teaches the same way to the fourth grade?" said Nalilian.

When she took the Defense Against the Dark Arts class with Kersten, she was shocked to hear that he was also teaching her about his autobiographical experiences.

What do you call this? One trick to rule them all?

She complained about this to Kerston and Cedric, and Cedric laughed and said that the Defense Against the Dark Arts class was the only one of her classes that could be seamlessly connected.

However, the two of them basically don't listen to this class. They are working on the book they are going to write in class.

Moreover, Lockhart did not ask Harry to come up and role-play with him as he did when he was giving them a lesson.

I heard that he once asked the Weasley twins to come up and play with him the role of Professor Lockhart fighting the two-headed monster, but the Weasley twins used a spell and almost turned him into Two-Face. After that, he never asked anyone to come up and role-play with him again.

Nalilian also called that Cospree, but unfortunately no one understood what she meant.

"I support her, though," Lavender said.

"Well, it's because we are her roommates," Narilla sighed, then added, "But Hermione will be sad."

"Oh, a die-hard fan of Professor Lockhart," said Lavender knowingly.

Narilla and Lavender tacitly agreed not to tell Hermione about this.

Until this matter can no longer be concealed——

Parvati kissed Professor Lockhart in public.
