HP: Becoming a Maiden Heartthrob

Chapter 31: Magic Without a Wand

Before daybreak, Narilla went to wait at the door of the Hufflepuff common room. Because she was too tired to stand, she pulled her wizard robe and sat in the corner.

"Lillian?"

Unexpectedly, the first person to come out of the Hufflepuff common room was Cedric. He looked at Narielian squatting in the corner in surprise, walked over and pulled her up.

"Why don't you go in?" he asked.

It was obvious that Nalilian had come to see them, but Cedric was more worried that she would be uncomfortable squatting outside.

Nalilian's legs were a little stiff from squatting. She grabbed the boy's arm tightly and stood up, saying aggrievedly, "I forgot how to get in."

It was Kerston who brought her here every time, and she hadn't bothered to memorize how to get into the Hufflepuff common room.

"Silly girl," Cedric said helplessly, patting her dirty wizard robes.

"Sed, why are you up so early?" Nalilian asked, half leaning against him. "I thought we had to wait a while."

"I like morning jogging," Cedric said, looking at the clear sky outside and smiling, "but today doesn't seem to be suitable for morning jogging. Lillian, what are you doing here?"

"Well, there's something I'd like to ask you for help with," Nalilian said.

She told Cedric how Harry and his friends went through the difficulties to protect the Philosopher's Stone from being stolen.

But she did not say that Professor Quirrell was Voldemort, she simply simplified him into a bad guy who wanted to steal the Philosopher's Stone and finally asked him for help.

"It's not difficult," Cedric agreed directly, "but will Headmaster Dumbledore agree? Will he allow the news of the Philosopher's Stone being in Hogwarts to be leaked?"

He obviously thought more deeply.

"Headmaster Dumbledore didn't ask Hermione to keep this a secret," said Narilla.

Cedric, who understood what she meant, smiled and said, "I understand, don't worry, Lillian."

"Thank you, Ced," said Nalilian.

She knew that Cedric and Kersten were both very reliable men and would do their best to fulfill their promises.

"Ced? Nalilian?"

A surprised voice was heard, startling both of them to look over.

It was Cad Wallad, Cedric and Kirsten's senior Quidditch player.

He scanned the two people's faces in surprise, then looked at Cedric holding Nalilian's hand, revealing an ambiguous smile, "So you..."

"What are you thinking about, Cade?" Cedric let go of Narielian.

His face was filled with a rare anger. "Lillian only came to see me and Kersten."

"Okay, okay, I know," Kade replied perfunctorily, winking at Nalilian secretly.

Nalilian blinked, thinking that this guy loved to inquire about and spread news, so she pulled Cedric's clothes and said, "We can ask Card for help."

"I know," Cedric said, gently squeezing her wrist. "Go back first. I'll take care of him."

Nalilian obediently left and walked towards the auditorium.

As it was still early, there were few people in the auditorium at this time, but the food had already been served.

She sat at the Gryffindor table for a while before the Weasley twins arrived.

Two tall red-haired boys noticed her gaze and walked over to sit next to her.

"Why are you sitting here today?" asked Weasley, who was sitting next to her.

She still couldn't tell Fred from George, but she vaguely guessed it was Fred.

Because Fred always spoke first.

"Why don't you hang out with the Hufflepuffs?" asked another Weasley.

"I have something to ask of you," Narilean said bluntly, surprising the Weasley twins.

Nallylian then told the Weasley twins everything about Harry and his friends' adventures.

The two boys exclaimed that it was wonderful and almost clapped their hands while eating popcorn, especially when they heard that their younger brother Ron was knocked unconscious by the chess piece.

"But it's not that easy to ask us for help," "You have to show some sincerity."

The Weasley twins said with a smile. They were not as easy to talk to as Cedric and would agree to her request unconditionally.

"What sincerity?" Nalilian asked warily.

The Weasley twins smiled at each other with an expression that said "baited, baited" and made Na Lilian feel uneasy.

"A promise," they said, arm in arm, one after another, "a small promise."

Nalilian squinted her eyes to see if they were thinking of something bad.

But the Weasley twins kept their genuine smiles so that she couldn't see their intentions.

She had no choice but to hold up the pinky fingers of both hands and said, "Okay, I promise. Pinky promise."

"Hmm," the Weasley twins were startled when they saw her stretching out her hands, and they subconsciously looked at each other.

They knew that they could hook their fingers to make an agreement, but they didn't expect the other party to actually extend two hands. This was really... interesting.

The two boys each stretched out a hand and hooked Nalilian's little hands.

Nalilian saw the hands that had made pinky promises to her and was impressed by how big their hands were. She then hooked her pinky fingers together and said in Chinese, "Pink and white, don't change your hands for a hundred years."

"What did you say?" "Why don't we understand?"

The Weasley twins didn't understand and asked Narielian with narrowed eyes.

"Magic," Narilean said mysteriously, narrowing her eyes, but making the Weasley twins laugh.

"Oh, magic," Fred mimicked her tone.

George snickered and filled in her gaps, "Wandless magic."

"The first years are really amazing, they can even use wandless magic," Fred continued with admiration.

Nalilian's cheeks suddenly heated up.

She knew she couldn't fool these two people, but she didn't expect them to expose her trick so easily.

"Anyway, you must do what you promised me," she said shamelessly, "I will also do what I agreed with you."

"Got it," "Don't worry," Fred and George responded in unison.

So, in the cafeteria at noon that day, before Headmaster Dumbledore was about to announce that Harry and his friends had defeated Professor Quirrell in protecting the Philosopher's Stone, the matter had already spread like wildfire in the academy, and all kinds of signs that Professor Quirrell was a bad guy began to emerge.

Some say that the troll on Halloween was released by Professor Quirrell, because it was Professor Quirrell who ran into the auditorium to tell everyone about it, and his head, which was always wrapped in cloth, must have been engraved with the spell to summon the troll.

It is said that Professor Quirrell always said that the turban on his head was given to the African prince after he drove away zombies for him, and that the garlic smell on his body must have been caused by being bitten by zombies and about to turn into a zombie, so he wanted the Philosopher's Stone in order to transform from a zombie back into a human.

So much so that in the end everyone began to think that Harry and Ron had been bitten by Professor Quirrell, turned into zombies and died heroically.

So when Headmaster Dumbledore had just entered the cafeteria and one of the Weasley twins stood up with a sad face, wiping away non-existent tears, and asked whether Harry and his poor brother had died, the old wizard with a white beard and a kind smile on his face almost couldn't keep his expression.

He had no choice but to explain that Harry and Ron were just unconscious and were currently receiving treatment in the hospital wing, and asked everyone not to worry.

As for the whereabouts of Professor Quirrell, perhaps he sacrificed himself to the troll, or perhaps he turned into a real zombie and escaped. In any case, it was not because of Harry's death.

Seeing that the matter was resolved satisfactorily, Nalilian breathed a sigh of relief and ran to the Hufflepuff table to thank Cedric for his help.

But she didn't see him, not even when Kersten came to pick her up to go to the cafeteria for lunch in the afternoon.

"Why didn't Sede come?" Nalilian couldn't help but ask Kston.

"Sed him," Kersten paused, and instead of answering her directly, he ruffled her hair, "it seems like you owe him a favor."

"What's wrong?" Nalilian asked worriedly.

"This is his decision. Wait for him to tell you."

Kirsten had no intention of telling her himself, and he wasn't sure if Cedric was sincere about it.

He looked at Nalilian and raised an eyebrow, "Besides, he's not your brother."

The subtext is that he is not him and will always be with her.

Nalilian heard it, pulled Kston in, and quickly said flatteringly, "Kston is still the best!"

Kersten chuckled and took her hand to lead them to the auditorium.
