Being taken outside by Tom was torture.

Li En thought to himself when he was wrapped tightly in clothes and a tattered hat, with not even a strand of hair showing.

"Give me Mr. Aykbery's newspaper," Tom said to the newspaper seller bluntly when he arrived at the newsstand.
