HP: Becoming a Maiden Heartthrob

Chapter 261: Warriors Selected in the Top 3 Cup

It rained a little in the afternoon, and the students at Hogwarts felt that the day was particularly long because the evening was not only the Halloween feast, but also the ceremony to announce the champions of the Triwizard Cup.

Nalilian, who had followed Cedric for a day and was hidden by Cedric for a day, had dinner with him in the auditorium.

Cedric looked at her worriedly, so she didn't eat much.

"Have another sip of milk," he urged, pushing it towards him.

"Yeah," Nalilian responded obediently, holding the milk and drinking it in small sips, but the water level never dropped.

Cedric was worried.

How could I care so much? I didn't eat much breakfast, much lunch, and much dinner.

Nalilian drank the milk slowly until the food on the plate was taken away and she had only finished half of her glass of milk.

"I'll bake you an apple pie when we get home, Lillian," Cedric said, gravely. "You haven't eaten much all day."

Nalilian nodded indifferently.

When dinner was over and all the food on the plates was gone, Kerston, who had not been seen all day, walked in from outside the auditorium and sat next to Nalilian.

"Kxton," Cedric looked at him with a reproachful look on his face.

He didn't show up for a day.

Kerston glanced at the teachers' seats. Cedric frowned, knowing that he might be talking about something over there, so he didn't say anything more.

Only then did Kerston look at Nalilian.

She just nodded casually at his arrival.

As evasive and awkward as ever.

But today I am dressed beautifully.

He stretched out his hand to her, but she dodged it imperceptibly. He paused, and his fingers, which were originally intended to rest on her cheek, rested on her silver hair ornament.

"This kind of liking?" he asked, holding the silver bead with his fingertips.

I bought them all for her when she was in second grade. Maybe it's time to buy her a new batch.

Nalilian reached out and pulled his hand down and placed it under the table. "It's okay. It mainly matches the clothes."

"As long as you like it," Kersten said, watching her long eyelashes flutter.

"Everyone," Dumbledore stood up at this time, "In about a minute, the Goblet of Fire will decide the champions of this competition."

"Whoever's name is announced will come forward and enter that door."

He pointed to a door behind the teachers' seats.

"There, the warriors will receive corresponding guidance."

He took out his wand and waved it, extinguishing all the candles in the hall except the ones in the pumpkin lanterns.

The Goblet of Fire shone brightly.

Everyone stared at it intently until its flames rose higher, turned into a fiery red color, and crackled and spit out a piece of parchment.

Dumbledore took the note. "Viktor Krum, Champion of Durmstrang."

"Krum—!"

There were cheers and shouts in the auditorium.

No one doubted this talented Seeker, even though he lost the championship this time because of meeting Keston, especially the wizards at Hogwarts who grew up under Keston's aura.

As expected, Krum at the Slytherin table stood up, walked to the door of the teachers' seats, and pushed it open.

Once the commotion died down, everyone's attention returned to the Goblet of Fire, awaiting the next champion.

The second piece of parchment was quickly spit out -

"The champion of Beauxbatons is Fleur Delacour!"

Dumbledore announced, and the beautiful silver-haired woman who looked very similar to Meiwa stood up from the Ravenclaw table and walked towards the door.

There were fewer cheers this time because the students of Bubbaston were more competitive with each other than Durmstrang's runner-up relationship. Several girls even cried because they were not chosen.

At this time, the third piece of parchment was also spit out.

Dumbledore took it and said, "Next is the champion of Hogwarts - Kirsten Ender."

"Kston—! Kston—!"

The moment he made the announcement, the auditorium was filled with cheers and applause that almost blew the ceiling off. This Quidditch genius who suddenly emerged made everyone have no objection to his selection, and everyone discussed his selection enthusiastically.

There was only one person present who couldn't laugh at all.

"Lillian..."

Cedric, who was originally applauding Kerston, was shocked when he saw Narilian's expression.

There was no color left in her face.

Kersten stood up now.

Snapped.

Nalilian stood up and reached out to grab Kerston's wizard robe.

Kerston looked at her, took in her pale face and constricted pupils, and whispered, "Lillian."

Nalilian clutched his wizard robe tightly, looking at him, not saying a word, but not letting go at all.

How could he, how could he even participate in this competition?!

The Hufflepuffs, being closest, were the first to notice something was wrong between them, and the applause and cheers stopped.

"Miss Ende," Dumbledore also noticed and looked over here worriedly.

Hearing Dumbledore's voice, Narilean came back to life, looked at Kersten and said, "I don't--"

She was startled and her pupils constricted.

She couldn't make a sound.

Kersten took hold of her hand that was holding him and pulled it away.

Cedric reached out and pulled her into his arms.

Tears welled up in her eyes and Cedric hugged her. Nalilian stared blankly at Kerston as he walked towards the teacher's seat until he entered the door.

The atmosphere on the field became a little quiet because of Nalilian, until the Goblet of Fire spit out the fourth parchment.

Dumbledore frowned as he took it and opened it. "The fourth champion, Harry Potter?"

Nalilian felt like she was in an ice cellar.
