HP: Becoming a Maiden Heartthrob

Chapter 248 Sexual Orientation, House Elves

"Lil...Lian?"

On the first day of school in September, it was raining, and Hermione asked Nalileen to take the Hogwarts Express with her. She, Harry, and Ron wanted to know what happened after Nalileen was taken away by the Ministry of Magic that day.

Hermione had been expecting her to write back and tell her, but Narilean hadn't written anything in the letter, so she decided to ask her after the letter came.

But when he saw Nalilian, she was standing between Kerston and Cedric, wearing a hood and with her head lowered, giving people the look of being worried about something.

Hermione called out, but received no response and inexplicably couldn't bring herself to speak again.

Especially since she was so small, only reaching Senior Ende's chest, she looked so pitiful.

Besides, it seemed like a lot of people were watching them, mainly Senior Ender, the Seeker who had won the match for the Irish team.

Hermione didn't want to be the center of attention.

"This is the first time I've directly felt how tall Senior Ender and Senior Diggory are," Ron sighed, obviously having the same feeling as Hermione.

Nalilian was like a daughter to them.

Hermione glanced at Ron and Harry, who had inexplicably grown a head taller than her after just one summer vacation. "You're actually quite tall too."

"Really?" Ron compared himself to Harry with his hands. "Actually, I haven't grown that much taller."

Harry adjusted his glasses and confirmed Hermione's statement, "I did buy the robes at Madam Malkin's."

Hermione nodded, "I'll tell you."

"Okay," Ron nodded, "it's all because I'm the one wearing my brother's leftover wizard robes and I'm unworthy."

Harry: "...that's not what I meant."

After the three of them got on the Hogwarts Express after a lot of noise, squeezed onto the train, put down their luggage and found a compartment to sit down, Hermione decided to go see Nariel.

"Maybe she was frightened by the escaped prisoner before," Hermione said, and explained to Harry and Ron's looks, "Anyway, I was frightened when I saw Lillian being strangled by that man."

I was so scared that I didn't dare to make a sound for fear of scaring that person.

Harry shook his head. "Impossible."

If Narilean was really scared, she would not have let him go without her that day, but would have chosen to be taken away by the Ministry of Magic alone.

He hesitated for a moment and then said, "Actually, I dreamed about that person that night."

Hermione and Ron couldn't help but look at him.

Harry said, "I saw him kneeling down and kissing my hand."

"Kiss your hand?" Hermione looked worried.

"Oh, man, I didn't know that was your sexuality," Ron said.

Hermione: "..."

"Please stop joking, Ron, we're talking business."

Ron rolled his eyes, "Nallylian will definitely agree with me."

Hermione retorted, "Lillian would never joke about Harry's abnormality. She would take it very seriously."

Harry glanced at her, expecting her to say more.

Hermione couldn't stand his secretly expectant look and said, "Aren't you living with Sirius? Lillian keeps asking me about you, worried that you're not adapting well."

"...Really?" Harry asked after holding back.

"If you're happy, don't hold it in," Ron said, seeing his disgusted expression as if he was trying to hold back a smile.

Harry smiled. "How did she ask that, Hermione?"

"She's not worried about how you're living, because she thinks Sirius won't treat you badly," Hermione said. "But she's more worried about whether you'll have to take care of Sirius in your life. She's also noticed that Sirius is a little, uh," she paused, and said, "not very responsible."

"Sirius has a house-elf at home," said Harry, "called Kreacher, who takes care of the housework."

"Oh, a house-elf," Hermione frowned and shook her head. "Does Sirius pay him?"

"Wages?" Ron muttered the word, as if he had never heard it before. "Don't you know what a house-elf is, Hermione?"

"They work for their masters without payment."

Hermione scoffed at his idea. She looked at Harry, "You've been in contact with Dobby, Harry. What do you think?"

Harry was stunned. "I haven't thought about it so much."

"Then you never considered Dobby a friend!" Hermione roared. "Don't you even want to work for his benefit?"

"We usually call house-elves 'it'," said Ron.

"Then you're not even as good as 'it', Ron," Hermione said angrily, "Dobby can Apparate and has his own magic."

"There are so many people who need benefits," Ron said exaggeratedly, "Werewolves, giants, are you looking for benefits for them? You're really amazing."

"But they are free," said Hermione. "They hunt for themselves."

"As for the house-elves, they do menial work for wizards and don't even dare to ask for wages. They are simply the wizards' slaves!"

Ron sneered and didn't agree with her at all. Hermione looked at Harry, who was staring at the floor in silence, looking like he didn't want to offend Ron and get involved. Hermione blushed and stood up and walked out of the carriage.

"I'll go find Lillian. She'll convince you, Harry."

After Hermione left, Ron looked at Harry, "You're not going to compromise on this, are you, mate?"

Harry shook his head. "I don't think Narielian would care about that."

Nallylian would only help them deal with Hermione's anger and stubbornness.

At this time, there was a knock on the box door.

Ron and Harry looked over and at first glance thought they were a man and a woman, but upon closer inspection they saw they were Lavender and Parvati.

Because Parvati not only cut her hair, but also dyed it silver, making her look more like a tomboy.

But I have to say that with Parvati as a backdrop, Lavender looks particularly girlish.

Lavender spoke up at this time, "We are here to find Narilean and Hermione."

Parvati said, "Hermione said you had a lot of trouble at the Quidditch World Cup?"

Harry then spoke up, "Na Lilian and Senior Ende are in the same box."

Ron immediately invited, "We can tell you, after all, we are here too."

Lavender smiled at him, pulled Parvati into the box, and sat down opposite him. "Then tell us about your heroic adventures."

Ron gave Harry a look that said, "See, brother, this is how you pick up girls," and began to describe the situation to Lavender in an exaggerated way. Lavender kept exclaiming as he described it.

As for Harry and Parvati, who were listening, they looked at each other and turned their heads away, thinking the same question -

When will Hermione and Nallylian arrive?
