Chapter 13 Finding Dad's Skills

It was the first time that Song's mother saw Song Yan so angry, and she stood there in a daze.

Seeing that Song Yan was still impatient, Song's mother's eyes instantly turned red. She got up from the ground tremblingly and walked towards the kitchen.

Song Yan immediately followed, wanting to take the opportunity to explain to Song's mother.

Song's father just sat on the sofa, watching TV, as if all this had nothing to do with him.

Sang Luo raised his eyebrows.

I value fairness the most, so I must treat everyone equally.

So, Sang Luo ran to the snack cabinet and rummaged through it, and finally found a large bag of raw chestnuts. Then he ran excitedly to Song Yan and stuffed the chestnuts into his hands with a smile on his face.

"Song Yan, I want to eat chestnuts, peel them for me!"

Hearing Sang Luo's words, Song's mother, who was chopping vegetables, chopped the chopping board with a loud clatter.

Sang Luo tilted his head to take a look and said loudly, "Oh! The meat can't be chopped too finely. I don't like it!"

Song's mother threw the kitchen knife down and was about to speak when Song Yan grabbed her.

Afterwards, Song Yan took the chestnuts and said to Sang Luo with a gentle look, "Wife, I'll peel the chestnuts for you later. You can eat them later, okay?"

Sang Luo shook his head: "No, I want to eat now!"

Song Yan frowned, looking embarrassed: "Look, I'm too busy now. Be good and eat later..."

Sang Luo grabbed the chestnuts, snorted coldly, and walked out: "Then I'll go back and ask my dad to peel them for me..."

Song Yan hurried to Sang Luo and took the chestnuts from her hand: "It's so late, how can you disturb your father-in-law? I'll ask my dad to peel them for you."

As he said that, Song Yan picked up the chestnuts and went into the living room.

After a while, Song's father's cursing was heard from the living room.

I don’t know what Song Yan said to Song’s father, but the cursing soon stopped.

When Sang Luo walked over again, Song's father was already peeling chestnuts with trembling hands.

Sang Luo smiled with satisfaction.

That's only fair!

Why not let Song Yan do something too...

Sang Luo sat down on the sofa, watching TV happily, eating chestnuts peeled by Song's father, and occasionally directing Song Yan to do this and that.

Song Yan didn't have time to explain to his parents.

Yumi in Sang Luo's head was amazed and said, "Master, is your skill of finding your father so effective?"

Sang Luo ate the sweet chestnuts and said, "Of course. If Father Sang were to take action, Song Yan's life would be completely ruined!"

Only when Song's mother brought the food to the table did Song's father and Song Yan breathe a sigh of relief.

While eating, Sang Luo sighed every time he took a bite of food.

Song's mother couldn't stand it any longer and threw her chopsticks. "I've already cooked for you myself, what else do you want?"

Sang Luo looked innocent: "Ah, I just feel that this is not even half as delicious as what Xu Ma makes..."

When Song's mother heard this, she was so angry that she almost fainted.

Song Yan quickly patted his mother's back to calm her down. His mother took the opportunity to scold him, "Look at the girl you married. She can't do anything, and she's always picky..."

Before Song's mother finished speaking, she heard Sang Luo's voice coming over faintly: "Hey, I'm already starting to miss Xu Ma's cooking. The food she cooks tastes most like my father's..."

Song Yan quickly spoke to comfort her: "Don't be unhappy, I will call Aunt Xu back tomorrow."

Sang Luo shook his head.

"Mom is right. Hiring a nanny is a waste of money. It's better not to call Xu Ma back."

"Anyway, Mom can cook. I'll ask Mom Xu to send me the cooking tutorial, and Mom can just follow it..."

Song's mother couldn't bear it any longer and cursed at Sang Luo.

"What do you mean? Look at whose daughter-in-law orders her mother-in-law to do things!"

"You're the one who's in charge of everything! You're the only one in the family who has the least free time, and yet you're still picking on me..."

Song's mother scolded him vigorously. Sang Luo's eyes turned red and his mouth pursed. "It seems that Mom doesn't like me. I'm going home to find my dad..."

Song Yan was going crazy. On one side were his furious parents, and on the other side was Sang Luo who always wanted to go back to her mother's house. He had never felt that staying at home was so tiring!

Despite this, he still started to persuade: "Dad, Mom, why don't you go back today?"

Song's father and mother looked at Song Yan in astonishment: "What did you say?"

Song's mother was furious.

"I worked so hard to raise you. You've only lived here for one day, and you're going to kick me out? Impossible!"

"Also, look at the person you married. I don't even want to tell you!"

"She's already like this, and you're still speaking up for her and trying to drive us away. I really gave birth to an unfilial son!"

Sang Luo put down his bowl and chopsticks, looking aggrieved: "It's my fault. I'll leave now. Anyway, my room has been occupied by my parents..."

Song Yan immediately looked at his mother: "Mom, how could you take Sang Luo's room? Move out quickly! Sang Luo is used to living in that room."

Song's mother wanted to continue making trouble, but Song Yan said with a cold face: "If you don't move out, just move out!"

Song's mother didn't expect that Song Yan would be so determined to defend Sang Luo. She opened her mouth but said nothing.

Father Song snorted coldly: "Just leave, I don't want to live with you!"

As Song's father was about to leave, Song's mother grabbed him and said, "I'm not leaving! Why should I leave? I've raised you up, and you can't even have your own room?"

Seeing Song Yan anxious to explain, Sang Luo, and considering that Sang Luo was not in a position to speak out, said considerately, "I'm a little tired. I'm going to take a shower first."

Song Yan nodded hurriedly and said gently, "Go ahead, call me if you need anything."

Sang Luo left slowly. Song Yan quickly pulled Song's parents to the sofa and whispered, "Dad, Mom, please stop targeting Sang Luo. You don't want the company I worked so hard to open to disappear just like that, do you?"

Mother Song snorted coldly.

"How did I target her? Are you blind? She was clearly targeting us!"

"Besides, what does the company you worked so hard to build have to do with her? She didn't help you at all!"

"I should have stopped you at the beginning. Look at you now. For a woman, you even ignored your parents. Doesn't your conscience hurt?"

"Mom, please stop making trouble! We really can't afford to offend her."

"Sang Luo is the only daughter of the wealthy Sang family. I was able to open this company thanks to her father's support."

"If she goes back to her parents' home and her father finds out she's been wronged, my company will definitely be gone! You don't want to ruin your current life, do you?"

"Why don't you just go back? You lived pretty well there before, didn't you? Why do you have to live with us?"

Mother Song looked at Song Yan suspiciously: "Are you telling the truth?"

"How could I lie to you? If not, how could I help her like this?"

"Then why didn't you tell me before?"

Song Yan was a little embarrassed.

Of course, he didn't want anyone to know about this gigolo thing, not even his parents.

Mother Song snorted coldly.

"Then I won't leave either! I want to live here. Why can she live with you in the city center, while I can only live in a remote old neighborhood?"

"You have no idea how the neighbors have laughed at me over the years!"

"They all say that you've forgotten your mother since you got married, and you don't even want to live with us..."
