"My Lord, it's been a long time..."

Norlinxi pushed open the door, and the empty space echoed with his own voice as the heavy door was pushed open.

“I knew you would come. You seem to want to know something. I’m sorry for keeping it from you for so long, but I can’t tell you until everything reaches a certain point in the cycle.”

The deity conjured a chair, and Norlinxi obediently sat down. On the table, a cup of hot tea was poured. He didn't particularly like it; drinking tea at night was fine, though it was sweet fruit tea.

"All I wanted was that this was all part of a normal historical journey, so I understand why you appeared back then... Was it all part of fate? I was wondering why someone like me could attract the attention of the gods..."

I took a sip of the fruit tea; it tasted familiar, but today's fruit tea seemed to have an extra hint of sourness.

It turns out that it's because my future self has done more meaningful research that they are willing to believe I am a late-blooming genius.

"That's not the case. Your results were indeed excellent at the time, but they weren't quite at the level of a true genius. I saw you respond to you, that's all. What I want to say is, child, our agreement still stands. I don't believe you can pay the price for others; that in itself is a violation of all contracts."

One cannot pay the price for others; this is one of the fundamental requirements of a contract. Just as A and B signed a contract, C cannot fulfill it on A's behalf, because their souls have already been inscribed with the same contract…

Those who have made a pact with the gods will be unable to escape until all of this is over.

"...What do you want my child for?" I felt my thoughts slowing down and my head becoming more dizzy.

"Let's leave that condition for the future. You look exhausted, forcing yourself to stay awake, right? After you drink this cup of tea, have a sweet dream."

My head was spinning, and then it dawned on me that something must have been put on the factory floor, most likely a sleeping pill, but less likely I was just really too tired.

"Please don't avoid this conversation... I'll ask again... after I wake up..." Did I really endure the medication for over three minutes? My emotions were so intense just now that I didn't notice the strange sensations in my body...

Once again, I drifted into a dream, where the gods truly wield divine authority, for it is in dreams that the gods truly demonstrate their power and wisdom.

"Welcome to the dream. Here, everything is hidden, and I can also isolate myself temporarily... So, I want to tell you what I need to do for you in the future. Do you know that in this land, people with similar names will have similar fates?"

This is known, and people with similar names often end up with the same fate, just like the story summarized in a few strokes of the book.

"Your child's name is very similar to yours. You are a traveler from beyond the world. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone, but your child was born here..."

"..." Not bound by fate, the Eye of God sought to bind so-called fate, so the Eye of God was ultimately placed in the child's heart. The moment the child possessed the Eye of God, fate was essentially frozen in time...
