Time Travel: The Queen's Coronation

Ding dong, ding dong, ding dong~

Today is traditionally New Year's Eve. Living abroad, I've been busy preparing dinner this morning. Even though I can't return home to be with my parents, I still want to celebrate this traditional holiday. The doorbell keeps ringing. I stop working on the kitchen knife, wipe my hands on my apron, and walk to the door to open it.

"Happy New Year!" As soon as I opened the door, a bouquet of flowers was pushed in front of me.

"Aren't you going home for the New Year?" I said to Shen Junhui who was grinning in front of me.

Standing between them, I remembered something. I gestured with both hands for both of them to come over. They obeyed without understanding why. "Turn around!" The two big guys also turned around in confusion. I carefully compared their heights and came to the conclusion, "Zixuan, Shen Junhui seems to be just a little taller than you!"

"Hahaha! I am taller than him!" Shen Junhui said proudly.

"Impossible!" Rong Zixuan gestured unconvincedly, pointing at Shen Junhui's shoes and saying, "He's wearing sneakers with heels! Mine are slippers!"

Shen Junhui was so angry that he took off his shoes immediately and said, "I'm taller than you even when I'm barefoot!" It turned out that Shen Junhui was still a little taller.

"How tall are you?" I asked Shen Junhui.

"I'm exactly 1.9 meters tall," Shen Junhui said proudly. Rong Zixuan was almost pissed off by him. Height is very important for a man, especially not to lose to his love rival.

"Please shovel the snow away from the door!"

Shen Junhui reluctantly took his tools and went out to shovel the snow.

I was in the kitchen preparing New Year's Eve dinner, and with the addition of a large chicken, I had to prepare more. "My mom told me!"

"Then let's go inside first!" I invited Li Zhanwen in. Shen Junhui also wanted to go in, but I stopped him, "You have to shovel the snow first before you can come in!"

Shen Junhui shouted dissatisfiedly, "Why doesn't he use it!"

"People are already living in the park and it's so miserable, and you still ask them to work"

"It's not like I let him live there!"

"Stop talking nonsense and get to work! You're not allowed to eat if you don't finish the work!" Shen Junhui wanted to retort but was yelled at by me. He could only continue shoveling snow helplessly.

When I entered the house, I brought Li Zhanwen a cup of hot milk. Rong Zixuan was just coming downstairs with the two children in his arms.
