Chapter 79 Return

Shortly after the battle between demons and trolls began, a group of stealthy murlocs, the Hidden Ones, quietly sneaked into the northern part of the Alterac Mountains.

After some exploration, the murlocs finally discovered a small town still controlled by humans, which surprised the infiltrated murlocs, the Hidden Ones, with a slight aberration. After further investigation, they discovered that the town was being defended by an organization called the Dawnguard! This news quickly reached Wu Yue.

Wu Yue, possessing memories from his past life, was well aware of the importance and influence of the Dawnguard. Establishing contact with them or gaining their support would greatly aid his future plans. He then decided to dispatch General Haas, formerly of the Kingdom of Alterac, to search for these Dawnguard.

So this time, resurrecting General Hass was actually something he had been preparing to do for a long time. However, finding the Dawnguard amidst the demons was not an easy task. General Hass still needed a troop.

............................................................

Wu Yue took General Hass to the shelter built by the trolls for General Hass's former troops. They had been staying here since General Hass's death, but the trolls did not abuse them, so their life here was pretty good. There was also a small troll army guarding here.

But in this post-defeat internment camp, the soldiers looked lonely, their hearts filled with longing for General Haas.

Wu Yue knew that these soldiers had experienced the pain of defeat and were filled with loss and confusion. Therefore, he did not treat them too harshly, but treated them with tolerance and gentleness, which would also make it easier for General Haas to lead them again in the future.

Soldiers often sat together in silence, recalling General Haas's heroic deeds and leadership, tears in their eyes as they imagined they could see General Haas commanding the troops on the battlefield.

General Haas was their spiritual pillar. They missed him not only because of his military talent, but also because of his care and love for the soldiers.

The internment camp was slightly darkened to monitor the soldiers. The imprisoned soldiers looked slightly haggard, but their eyes were full of vitality. Suddenly, footsteps were heard in the internment camp, and the soldiers turned their heads and looked towards the door.

General Haas walked in slowly, his figure tall and majestic, his steps firm and steady. His eyes revealed concern and determination, and the armor on his body exuded a reassuring aura.

When the soldiers saw General Haas, disbelief flashed in their eyes. They all stood up and looked at the general with surprised eyes, their voices filled with confusion, excitement, and disbelief: "General! You! Are you still alive? Didn't you die in the battle..."

The soldiers stared in amazement as the general who was supposed to have died in battle returned to their side. His figure was still as resolute, his armor still gleaming, but they still remembered the scene when they buried his body.

The general walked slowly past the soldiers, each step carrying a heavy weight. The soldiers made way for him, their eyes filled with awe and disbelief. They had thought they had lost this brave leader, but now, miraculously, he had returned to their midst.

General Haas looked at the faces of his soldiers, the expressions on each of their faces, surprise, expectation, doubt, joy, and excitement, and he felt that he should first give a brief explanation.

"I have died before, warriors, but now I am back again. You don't have to worry. I am still the general you used to be. I believe that at some point in the future, my actions will convince you of this."

At this moment, the soldiers' joy outweighed their doubts. Even though the person in front of them might be an imposter, they still wanted to believe that their general had never left them.

General Haas smiled and told the soldiers in a firm voice

"Soldiers, the battle is not over yet. We must continue to move forward and fight for our country and freedom, to rid our land of the demons that are killing our people and to liberate our homes from their clutches."

These soldiers were not unaware of the demonic invasion of Alterac. They knew the demons' cruelty, yet they felt helpless being held captive. However, when that word of encouragement arrived, it was like a ray of light illuminating their hearts. Their gazes grew firm, and the flame of courage ignited within them.

Some puffed out their chests, General Haas's voice echoing through the crowd, inspiring everyone. Others silently steeled their resolve, ready to take action to defend their homeland. Hope spread within the people; they believed that, united as one, they could defeat the demons and reclaim their kingdom.

General Haas quietly observed the soldiers' expressions, his face serious and solemn. Finally, he raised his head and spoke to them in a firm voice: "You are soldiers of the Kingdom. Your dedication and sacrifice will be forever remembered. Please believe that justice will ultimately triumph over evil. As long as we persevere in our faith and unite as one, we will surely overcome this difficult situation and embrace a bright future."

Amidst the solemn atmosphere, a man shouted, "We are willing to fight for the kingdom!" His voice was so powerful that it seemed to pierce the sky. These words were like a torch, igniting the enthusiasm of the people around him.

One after another, people responded, their voices rising and falling, blending into a passionate melody. Their gazes were firm, their faces filled with determination and courage. They gripped their weapons tightly, as if declaring their oath to the world.

Each of their expressions was filled with determination and resoluteness; they were willing to sacrifice everything for their kingdom, for their honor, for their freedom. This was a selfless devotion, a deep love for their homeland.

General Haas looked at the group of strong soldiers in front of him, and his heart was filled with admiration and emotion. He knew that these soldiers were the hope of the kingdom, and they would fight to the end for the peace and prosperity of the kingdom and against the evil.

His words were like a drum of war, inspiring the fighting spirit of every soldier. Then, General Haas raised his sword high and shouted:

"For the Kingdom of Alterac."

Encouraged by the general, the soldiers were inspired and shouted loudly, "For the Kingdom of Alterac." They grasped their weapons tightly and prepared to fight again.

The general's return became a belief in their hearts. They firmly believed that as long as they had the general's leadership, they would be able to overcome all difficulties and achieve ultimate victory.

Wu Yue was outside listening to the magnificent voices from inside and realized that General Hass had ignited the fighting spirit of these soldiers. He waved his hand and a shadow hunter, the commander of the troll troops in this shelter, came to his side. Wu Yue slowly said

"Wait a minute, when they come out, you don't have to stop them, just let them out."

After saying that, Wu Yue turned and left. With General Hass here, he didn't need to say much to the soldiers in the shelter. What's more, although they were the ones who provoked him first, he was largely responsible for the outbreak of the war. They might not have no complaints about him in their hearts. It would be better to slowly contact them through General Hass.

This release is to allow them and General Hass to negotiate with the Dawn Guard together. So how can they break through the demon's defense line and reach the inside? This is a problem that needs to be considered. If they rely alone, they will definitely have to pay a considerable price. Therefore, Wu Yue needs to come up with a more appropriate plan to make their actions smoother.

After contacting the Dawnguard, Wu Yue can attack the city of Alterac at the same time as these human troops and eradicate all the demons in the mountains. At that time, the elimination of the demons will probably be a headache for Wu Yue. Demons are not livestock that can be slaughtered at will. If these scattered demons are not handled properly, it will probably be more troublesome than when they gather together.

But now Wu Yue can focus on the demons in the city of Autark and King Aiden. His people will have a lot to say to him.
