Chapter 49 Resolution of Misunderstanding
The orc shot his arrow. Wu Yue was already in a bad mood because of the death of the bandit. In his anger, he even forgot that the orcs did not understand human language very well.
The attack of the young orc completely unleashed his rage. People always like to say that anger can make people lose their minds, but this is not entirely true. For smart people, anger is their motivation to do something, and anger can be used as a driving force for their progress.
Although Wu Yue was not yet able to use anger as his motivation, anger could not easily affect his combat thinking. The moment the orcs' arrows shot over, he gathered the fire elements in the small world and turned them into a flaming shield to block in front of him. When the arrows just touched the shield, they were burned to ashes and fell to the ground. At the same time, he used the snow under his feet that he had melted into water. They tightly wrapped around the ankles of the orcs and the white wolves, making it impossible for them to move easily.
Arnold kept struggling, but the water under his feet was very resilient, soft but as helpless as cotton. All his strength was absorbed by the water. The orc shaman immediately used the power of his soul to communicate with the elements. He first communicated with the water element that was entangled with them.
But they became very stubborn, as if what Wu Yue asked them to do was an order that could not be disobeyed. Even the shaman, who was known for his great ability to communicate with elements, was unable to immediately untie the restraints under their feet.
Wu Yue pointed his hand at the young orc who was shooting an arrow at him. The orc was also struggling, trying to avoid the direction of Wu Yue's hand and escape the possible danger. Flames burned in the direction Wu Yue was pointing, burning the young orc's arm that fell to the ground.
The orc decisively tore off his arm. The pain almost made him faint, but he held on with his strong will and remained awake.
The shaman succeeded. He changed his thinking and started communicating with the water elements under the feet of several important orcs. These water elements did not belong to Wu Yue's world, so although they were somewhat obedient to the power reflected by the world on Wu Yue's body, they were still appeased by the shaman's soul power communication.
But with this shaman's level, the elements would never help him attack Wu Yue. Being able to keep some of them neutral was the shaman's limit.
Arnold also broke free from his restraints. He swung the axe in his hand at Wu Yue, and Wu Yue swung his fist directly at him. Arnold's axe hit Wu Yue's body, but left a cut on the axe. Wu Yue did not suffer any more injuries except for a mark on his skin.
This is the power of the earth element. Arnold's axe can chop down the earth of a world, even if it is only a part of the power reflected by it. He himself was swung far away by Wu Yue's fist. After falling to the ground, he continued to retreat, and his sliding body piled the snow on the ground behind him.
By the time it stopped, a large pile of snow had been rolled up.
However, just when Wu Yue wanted to continue dealing with Arnold, several arrows landed accurately on Wu Yue's head. However, after making a crisp sound, the arrow bodies bent and fell to the ground. But this attracted Wu Yue's attention, and he looked at the hunter who shot arrows at the polar bear.
There was determination in the hunter's eyes. Wu Yue once again summoned the water elements, but this time, they came from his world.
The shaman had discovered by now that he seemed unable to communicate with some of the elements used by Wu Yue. No matter how he used his soul power to communicate with them, they turned a deaf ear to him. The water element that bound the orcs' feet would at least respond to him.
But the elemental power Wu Yue subsequently unleashed simply ignored his communication. He could only watch as Wu Yue used the water element to continuously sweep towards the outstanding hunter of their tribe, and he himself had no way to stop them, to stop this human who seemed to be the incarnation of the elements, wait… the incarnation of the elements! The shaman suddenly thought of something.
A huge tide of water kept pouring out from behind Wu Yue, and kept rushing towards the hunter under Wu Yue's control. The hunter relied on his agility and took advantage of the terrain around him, boulders, trees, protrusions, and even fallen tree trunks. Those obstacles were submerged by Wu Yue's water flow. He could only keep running to avoid the water flow controlled by Wu Yue, but he could still shoot one or two arrows at Wu Yue from time to time.
But they were all blocked by the huge water flow. He used the terrain to avoid Wu Yue's attacks again and again. Wu Yue wanted to end the battle as soon as possible. Just when he hid behind a tree stump and wanted to shoot an arrow again, the hurricane came.
This is the wind element. An endless strong wind blew up. Unlike the hurricane in Hogg's land, Wu Yue's wind was not sharp. It was more inclined to the power of the element itself. There were lightning mixed in the wind, and these beams of lightning would accurately hit the hunter who was about to shoot an arrow.
The hunter only felt the paralyzing pain on his body, which made it impossible for him to move. Then, he was submerged by Wu Yue's water element. The water was in his mouth, nose, and even entered his lungs. He couldn't breathe. The water element bound him and prevented him from getting out. After a few minutes, just when he was about to lose consciousness in the water, the water dispersed and they returned to the world.
After leaving the water, the orc hunter breathed greedily and rapidly, coughing constantly and spitting out a lot of ground water. However, he quickly regained his senses and looked at Wu Yue. He didn't understand why this human suddenly stopped.
Wu Yue was looking at the shaman at this time. The shaman was communicating with him with the power of the soul. The shaman asked him why he was so angry. Wu Yue answered him. The shaman explained to him what happened and apologized to him for the reckless orc. He hoped that Wu Yue could forgive him and their reckless behavior.
Wu Yue calmed down after communicating with the shaman and suddenly felt a little embarrassed. He looked at the orcs and white wolves present. Although most of them were tied up by him, fortunately they were not injured. He looked at the orcs who were injured by him using fire, earth, water and wind respectively. One of them fell into a coma and two were seriously injured.
He slowly covered them with elements. The orc hunter and the young orc wanted to resist, but the shaman gestured with his hand to tell them not to worry. Every shaman had a high status in the orc clan and was quite respected by the tribesmen, so both chose to trust the shaman, and the elements continued to heal their wounds.
Wu Yue even consumed a lot of the world's life force to reshape an arm for the young orc. At first, the young orc felt that the broken arm was not so painful anymore, and later it became very itchy, making him want to scratch it, but was stopped by Wu Yue.
Slowly, small buds of flesh grew out of the broken wound, and then slowly intertwined together to become a small hand. Finally, it continued to grow and formed a brand new arm.
The water element under their feet released the imprisoned orcs, and the unconscious orc also woke up. The wounds on the three orcs had basically healed. The young orc with the broken arm tried his new arm and moved it slightly, feeling a little out of place. Wu Yue saw that he was not used to the new arm and explained to them with his mental power.
"Just use it more and it will become the same as the original arm after a while of running in."
The orcs looked at Wu Yue in shock, and seemed to doubt whether the human in front of them was an elemental disguise. Wu Yue ignored their shock and expressed his attitude first. He bent down slightly and apologized to the orcs with his mental power.
"I'm sorry for misunderstanding you. I thought you were the ones who massacred my soldiers."
The shaman also responded to this. He also apologized to Wu Yue with the power of his soul on behalf of the orcs, and also told several leading orcs what he had said.
"Our member was also a little impulsive and attacked you first. For this, we also owe you an apology."
Several leading orcs also bowed their heads slightly to express their apologies. This incident was indeed caused by their attack. Wu Yue looked at these orcs and smiled slightly. He raised his hand. The shaman looked at Wu Yue's raised hand, thought of something, and raised his own hand as well.
The two palms met in the air, making a sound, dispelling all misunderstandings!
