I have a shop in Azeroth
Chapter 21 Waiting and Starting
After returning to Dream City, Wu Yue quietly waited for another two months. He had considered what to do during those two months, but firstly, although he was not afraid of Medivh and Kil'jaeden, he did not want to act rashly and alert them.
Although he has caused some big commotion now, it has not yet affected the course of Azeroth's history. Because of the existence of the secret runes, neither the Dragon Legion nor the Burning Legion, even the incarnation of Sargeras in Azeroth, knows the existence of this variable.
Secondly, Wu Yue wanted to develop for a while longer. After the Dark Portal, many powerful figures would definitely notice him, but for at least the next two months, they wouldn't notice him, a small bug that would cause a timeline change.
Therefore, these two months would be his perfect growth period. There was no other way. Although Wu Yue had been in this world for over two years, he had only had a few months to truly grow. Only after he purchased the Micro Gold Collector did he have a stable source of system gold coins. Even if it was only one gold coin per day, it put him on the right track of growth.
You see, before he had the micro gold coin collector, it took Wu Yue two years to collect 15 gold coins. So although Wu Yue had been accumulating gold coins during this period, those gold coins could be transformed into an army at any time.
If he only hired bandits, he could instantly hire 53 bandits, which is enough to rival or even steadily suppress the strength of any of the seven human nations.
So, although Wu Yue only occupied a small area in the Hinterlands, his strength was enough to rival an entire nation. Note that this was only the military strength. If we consider the top-level strength, even if Lordaeron had Alonsus Faol and Stormwind had Medivh, they wouldn't dare to claim to be superior to Wu Yue in terms of top-level strength, let alone other, less powerful nations. If Wu Yue could hire another powerful demigod, then in terms of top-level strength, he would be able to crush other countries.
Therefore, development is always the top priority for Wu Yue, but now the Dark Portal is about to open and the Burning Legion's invasion of Azeroth is about to begin. Wu Yue has to use the resources at hand to make adequate preparations for it.
.............................................
Draenor, the orcs' former homeland, is now covered with vast tracts of cursed red land, which have permanently lost their vitality due to the use of dark magic.
At this time, in a valley, around a huge, insignificant gate, a dense crowd of green orcs gathered. Many clans had come to this valley at Gul'dan's request.
Besides the orcs, there are many cages around, with some blue-skinned, pointy-eared humanoids inside. They are the Draenei, whose homes have been destroyed by the orcs, and only a few have managed to escape.
A path suddenly opened up among the orcs, and a stooped orc, much smaller than the others, and two orc guards followed him toward the gate. This was Gul'dan, the warlock leader of the Shadow Council. He undoubtedly had a share of responsibility for the world's current state.
After drinking the demon blood distributed by Gul'dan to various orc tribes, the orcs, who were originally cautious and fearful of nature, became bloodthirsty and brutal. After slaughtering the Draenei, the elements of Draenor began to refuse to respond to the prayers of the orc shamans. This also made all the shamans turn to the new magical power provided by Gul'dan, and they became users of dark magic - warlocks.
Now, the land is becoming increasingly desolate. Plants no longer grow, animals are gradually disappearing, and the elements are weakened by the corrosion of dark magic and can no longer respond. The tribes have begun to fight against each other.
In order to ease the conflict and divert the orcs' attention, Gul'dan, under the guidance of Medivh, who was corrupted by the incarnation of Sargeras, built the Dark Portal, the entrance for the orcs to invade Azeroth.
Gul'dan climbed up the steps in front of the Dark Portal step by step, then he stood in front of the Dark Portal, turned around, and looked at all the orcs in front of him.
"Today is a glorious day for all orcs"
He shouted
"You have witnessed the birth of this great work of art. I will fulfill my promise to all orcs, this door."
Gul'dan pointed at the gate, his expression becoming increasingly agitated.
"It leads to another world, where there is water and food. We will continue our killing spree, fighting against the enemies of the allies who gave us strength, the humans, and eventually defeating them. Their blood will become our most glorious symbol. We will show them our great strength. Just as the Draenei were destroyed by us, so will the fate of humans."
A cheer rang out from the orcs, and a brown orc in the vast green began to worry. He was Durotan, the leader of the Frostwolf clan, one of the few orcs who did not drink the blood of the devil. He looked at his fellow orcs who were being killed and ruled by bloodthirstiness, and was very worried.
But he had to admit one thing, they, all the orcs needed a new land full of food and water.
"Now, our allies are maintaining the portal for us on the other side, let's get started too."
The warlocks who had been prepared around him began to chant and cast their spells. Green, evil rays of light, symbolizing the pain of life being drained, emanated from the caged draenei. They gathered in Gul'dan's hands and were then channeled by him, acting on the portal behind him.
The huge door began to burst with colors like the light extracted from the Draenei, and then a new picture unfolded from the door. It was as humid as the drought in Draenor. A thick fog floated on the saltwater swamp grass. There was a buzzing sound in the environment, but it could be seen that there was life, but it was not much better than the current Draenor.
The Draenei, whose lives had been drained, fell to the ground, their blue blood spilling onto the ground. Among them were many women and children.
Durotan could no longer bear it when he saw this scene.
"What have you done to us, Gul'dan?"
Durotan asked Gul'dan loudly, but then his voice was drowned out by the roar of the furious orcs. The orcs around him were still brown-skinned and were trying to protect their chieftain. The battle roar was deafening.
Durotan, the brave warrior, fought hard. Even without drinking the demon's blood, he was still a powerful orc. No orc around him could chop him down with his axe.
But after a moment, all the sounds stopped abruptly, including Durotan's. Gul'dan angrily knocked the scepter in his hand and cast his magic. The invisible evil energy slid around every orc, burning those who were still making trouble, leaving darker green wounds on their originally green skin.
Some of the Frostwolf orcs were also injured, but their chieftain was safe and sound. Gul'dan looked at Durotan. Although he wanted to get rid of this troublesome orc, now was not the time. The Frostwolf Clan still had great prestige among all the clans that opposed the use of fel energy, and he had to accomplish this task legitimately.
At this time, the orcs stopped fighting under the intimidation of Gul'dan, but soon, after they came to their senses, they also discovered the flaws in the environment behind the door. However, Durotan could see that although the sky behind the door was orange instead of yellow, and although the earth was wet and there were few plants, the existence of water itself meant life.
Sure enough, Gul'dan explained to the orcs afterwards.
"Azeroth is a big world, just like our own, so the ground environment won't be the same, but it's definitely a new world."
Then Gul'dan pointed to a group of orcs who were already fully armed, about dozens of them.
"Now it will be up to them to explore this new world on our behalf."
Gul'dan gave the orcs a reconnaissance order, and the orcs walked towards another world under the curious gaze of all the clans.
