"Huh? What's going on here?" Chen Dafei put down his chopsticks, but was still chewing.

Upon hearing his uncle speak, Chen Shaomin immediately embellished the story of what Yan Bugui and Su Xingchen had done.

"Hmph, this Yan Bugui is already so dishonest right after taking office. If you ask me, sooner or later he won't be able to sit in this position and will have to give it up." Chen Dafei frowned as he listened to Chen Shaomin's words.

Of course, Chen Shaomin was very happy to hear what Chen Dafei said. If Yan Bugui's position became vacant, wouldn't that give him a chance to take over? How could he not be happy?

After finishing his meal, Su Xingchen returned to his office with Jia Chunxin. He had originally planned to go home, but when he thought about Huang Xiaoniu stealing his tea leaves and not being able to expel the poison, he felt that he couldn't do it. He had to see it with his own eyes to feel at ease, otherwise, wouldn't it be a waste of his medicine?

Huang Xiaoniu certainly wouldn't disappoint him. Having stolen so much tea from Su Xingchen, how could he possibly say it was tasteless and not change it? Normally, he'd only brew one pot of tea a day, but since the landlord had a stockpile, he wouldn't be so frugal. Who was he saving for? Su Xingchen? No, no, no, he'd just ask Su Xingchen for more when he finished. Of course, it wasn't like he wouldn't drink it if they didn't give it to him; he'd just take it himself. Besides, Huang Xiaoniu wasn't one to care about saving face. Whoever didn't take advantage of this was a bastard.

After Su Xingchen sat down, he waited for Huang Xiaoniu to return. He turned his stool around and looked towards the office door. Jia Chunxin, sitting at her desk, looked at Su Xingchen with some confusion, but she didn't say anything.

Su Xingchen was sitting there, almost falling asleep, when Huang Xiaoniu finally picked up a teacup and slowly strolled over, his African-looking body swaying slightly. He greeted his older brother and teacher before returning to his seat and taking out some tea leaves from his drawer. He had already enjoyed one of Su Xingchen's teas that morning, so it was time to try something different this afternoon.

He took out the tea leaves that Su Xingchen had "added a lot of" to and put them into the cup. However, compared to his usual amount of tea leaves, this was much, much more. Then Huang Xiaoniu hummed a little tune, leisurely poured water from the thermos, and then sat down.

Su Xingchen was actually starting to lose his composure when he saw Huang Xiaoniu brewing tea, but he was still professionally trained, so he managed to suppress his laughter.

However, the upward curve of her lips was unavoidable. Su Xingchen then turned her chair around, calmly picked up her lesson plan and textbook, and began preparing her lesson again. The main reason was that while the medicine was potent, it wouldn't work that quickly, especially since Huang Xiaoniu had only taken a small sip and probably put the teacup down because it was too hot. Su Xingchen didn't think that even a small sip of the laxative would have a significant effect.

Su Xingchen got so engrossed in preparing her lessons that she forgot to observe Huang Xiaoniu. It wasn't until she heard someone rush out of the office without even closing the door—it was winter, after all, and most of the time we would close the door as soon as we came in—that she realized it was Huang Xiaoniu who had gone out.
