After finishing class, Su Xingchen went straight back to his office. Although there was only one class today, he couldn't just go back. Who knew what else might happen at school? Besides, he wanted to have more time to talk with his beautiful homeroom teacher.

"Teacher Su, how was it? Were the children well-behaved?" Jia Chunxin asked with a smile when she saw Su Xingchen return from get out of class.

"Of course they're very well-behaved. I was quite nervous before class, worried that these kids wouldn't accept me as their new teacher. But now it seems I was overthinking it; these kids are very obedient," Su Xingchen said with a smile.

"If you ask me, it's better if you make them think that this teacher is good. I know these kids too well; they're not usually this obedient," Jia Chunxin said, shaking her head.

The two walked quickly to the office. Su Xingchen had just sat down when he noticed that his tea leaves had been moved. However, he didn't react at all and simply sat down without making a sound. "You son of a bitch, you like to steal? Fine, this time I'll make you taste the power of my strong laxative."

Jia Chunxin had to leave in a hurry after resting for a while because she still had classes. Su Xingchen only had one class, so she simply started preparing for the lesson. Since she was resting anyway, she might as well start preparing for the lesson so that she could relax a bit later.

"Teacher Su, it's time to eat. Why are you still sitting here?" Su Xingchen had just taken a sip of water and stretched when he heard Jia Chunxin come over to call him.

"Huh? So fast?" Su Xingchen glanced at the clock on the wall and realized that he had been preparing for two lessons and it was already lunchtime. If Jia Chunxin hadn't come back to get his lunchbox, he wouldn't have even realized that it was time to eat.

"Oh dear, Ms. Su, you didn't prepare lessons here for two periods of time, did you?" Jia Chunxin picked up her lunchbox and then noticed that Su Xingchen was preparing lessons.

“Yeah, that’s right, I’ve got nothing else to do.” Su Xingchen nodded and said.

"You, sigh, really..." Jia Chunxin shook her head helplessly. "Let's go, I'll take you to the cafeteria first, otherwise there won't be any good food left if we go late."

"Okay, sure." Su Xingchen nodded and took out her lunchbox from her bag and followed. The two chatted and laughed and soon arrived at the cafeteria.

Just as Su Xingchen was talking to Jia Chunxin, she sensed someone staring at her from nearby. Looking in that direction, she saw a man in his twenties or thirties with shifty eyes staring at her and Jia Chunxin.

Before Su Xingchen could figure out who this person was, he walked over and asked, "Chunxin, who is this?"

"Teacher Chen, this is the new intern, Teacher Su." Jia Chunxin frowned when she saw Chen Shaomin walking over. Although she disliked Chen Shaomin, there was nothing she could do. After all, Chen Shaomin's uncle was the vice principal. What could she do? Besides, they were all in the same school, and they would run into each other all the time. She couldn't avoid seeing him even if she wanted to, could she?

"Oh? These days, interns may not be good at much else, but they're quite enthusiastic about eating." Chen Shaomin couldn't help but sized up Su Xingchen upon hearing this. At first, he thought she was some new teacher, wondering how a new teacher could be so bold as to approach the woman he had his eye on? Who knew she was just an intern!
