Feng Shui live broadcast: A haunted house worth 50 million is not worth living in
Chapter 72: There is not a single living person?
Inside the laboratory, old books were scattered on the floor and the corners were filled with messy experimental equipment.
A solitary chandelier swayed on the ceiling, emitting a faint light.
With every step, the floor creaked, as if it would collapse at any moment.
Suddenly, he heard a whisper, as if countless people were whispering in his ears.
Chen Yile stopped and looked around, trying to find the source of the sound.
"Who's there?" he cried, but only an echo answered him.
Just as he was about to move forward, a cold hand suddenly grabbed his shoulder from behind.
Chen Yile turned around suddenly and saw a pale female ghost standing in front of him, with tears of blood in her eyes.
"Save me..." the female ghost pleaded in a low voice, her voice filled with endless pain.
Chen Yile felt that the blood in his body was flowing backwards. He tried to drive her away with the demon-subduing pestle, but the figure of the female ghost became clearer.
She slowly approached him with a strange smile on her lips.
"You can't run away..." the female ghost whispered, and the blood in her hand dripped onto the ground, making a slight tapping sound.
Chen Yile felt nauseous and tried to back away, but he tripped over something and fell heavily to the ground.
The female ghost slowly crawled towards him, leaving a long trail of blood on the floor.
"Let's go, Brother Chen!"
"Don't let her catch you!"
"Oh my god, this is too scary!"
The barrage of comments in the live broadcast room scrolled wildly, and the audience's exclamations came one after another.
Chen Yile struggled to stand up and continued to run deeper into the laboratory.
The female ghost behind him let out a shrill scream, and the whole room seemed to shake.
He rushed into another room and found what appeared to be an operating room.
The surroundings were filled with rusty surgical instruments, the bed was covered with yellowed sheets, and the air was filled with a strong smell of blood.
Just as he was about to continue his escape, the sheets on the operating table suddenly moved.
A ghost figure wrapped in bandages sat up from the bed, red light flashing in his eyes.
"New patient, are you ready for surgery?" The ghost's low voice echoed in the room.
Chen Yile felt dizzy and knew that he had no way to escape.
He gripped the demon-subduing pestle tightly and prayed silently in his heart, hoping that the magic weapon would work this time.
The ghost slowly approached him, the scalpel in his hand flashing coldly under the light.
Chen Yile closed his eyes and prepared to meet his final fate.
At this moment, a strong white light suddenly burst out from the demon-subduing pestle in his hand, illuminating the entire room.
The ghost let out a shrill scream and its figure gradually disappeared in the white light.
Chen Yile opened his eyes and found that he was still alive. The demon-subduing pestle in his hand was slightly warm, as if everything just now was just an illusion.
He gasped for breath, knowing he had to keep going.
The horror in this building is far from over, and he must find an exit to truly escape this nightmare.
"Everyone, I'm still alive, but it's really scary here." Chen Yile said to the live broadcast room.
Cheers erupted again in the barrage:
"Brother Chen is awesome!"
"It's finally safe!"
“This is too thrilling!”
Chen Yile didn't have time to think about it, he knew he had to move forward.
He gripped the demon-subduing pestle tightly and walked towards the exit of the operating room.
Not far from him, something seemed to be stirring in the darkness, waiting for his arrival.
But he had been running for so long that he wanted to stop and rest for a while.
"Brothers, I'm going to find a place to rest first."
As he spoke, Chen Yile looked around at this shabby place.
"Brother Chen, be careful, this place doesn't look right."
"Brother Chen, aren't you afraid? If it were me, I would have run away long ago!"
"Brother Chen is mighty, check for us to see if there is a shadow over there!"
Chen Yile found a relatively complete small doctor's office and decided to take a rest here.
He set up his phone and said to the audience, "Everyone, let's take a break here and continue the adventure later."
He took out a bottle of water from his backpack, took a sip, and was about to chat with the audience when suddenly there was a loud "bang" and the door exploded.
Chen Yile was startled by the sudden noise and almost dropped his phone to the ground.
The barrage exploded instantly:
"Fuck, what happened?"
"Why did the door suddenly explode?!"
"Brother Chen, be careful!"
Chen Yile took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down. He picked up his phone and walked carefully to the door.
The corridor outside the door looked completely different, the walls and floors were brand new, as if they had just been renovated.
"What... is going on?" Chen Yile muttered to himself.
He continued to walk forward, each step touching the dusty floor, but the dust seemed freshly accumulated, completely different from the dilapidated scene he had just seen.
The barrage began to become more tense:
"Brother Chen, let's go! Something's wrong with this place!"
"Brother Chen, there seems to be something behind you!"
"Don't look back, Brother Chen!"
Although Chen Yile felt a little nervous, he continued to walk in.
At the end of the corridor, a shabby wooden door suddenly opened by itself, and a faint blue light shone from inside.
He took a deep breath, opened the door and walked in.
In the room, a woman in an old nurse's uniform stood there with a strange smile on her face and a hint of charm in her eyes.
The nurse seemed to have known that Chen Yile would come and was waiting for him quietly.
"Welcome here, my friend." The ghost nurse's voice was a little cold. She slowly approached, and the smile on her face became more and more weird.
"You... who are you?" Chen Yile asked with forced calmness, while quietly tightening the amulet in his pocket.
The ghost nurse didn't answer, but continued to move closer.
Chen Yile felt a cold breath coming towards him, and he knew he had to do something to get rid of this strange situation.
He silently chanted a few spells, and the amulet warmed slightly in his hand.
"Stay away from me!" he shouted, and the amulet emitted a faint light, and the ghost nurse was forced back a few steps.
"Oh? You know some Taoist magic?" The ghost nurse seemed to be interested, and her smile became even more ferocious.
Chen Yile knew that he was safe for the time being, but this sense of security did not last long.
Bright red liquid began to slowly seep out of the surrounding walls, and the floor became damp and sticky, as if one was standing in a huge pool of blood.
"Everyone, there's definitely a problem here. I need to find a way out!" Chen Yile said to the camera, and the comments became even more frantic:
"Brother Chen, run!"
"This place is too weird, leave now!"
"Brother Chen, come on, we support you!"
He quickened his pace, wanting to escape from this strange room.
