Chapter 94 Maintenance Fee

After returning home, Jin Taize let go of Tang Xin.

Tang Xin clasped her fingers together, looked at Jin Taize who was changing his shoes, and said apologetically, "I'm sorry for interrupting your exercise."

Jin Taize put his shoes in the shoe cabinet and breathed a sigh of relief. "It wasn't delayed. The amount of exercise was about the same as usual."

Tang Xin's face flushed as she listened. This was just another way of calling her fat! She'd kindly apologized to him, but he'd been finding new ways to mock her. Tang Xin glanced at the man, said nothing, and walked out, leaving him with a gust of cold air.

Tang Xin's angry look just played into Jin Taize's hands. He caught up with Tang Xin and grabbed her wrist.

Although Tang Xin was walking fast, the sudden opposing force on her hand was too great, and the speed of her body was faster than the transmission of nerve synapses. Before she could resist, her body suddenly pierced into the man's armor-like chest.

"Teacher Tang, do you never pay for taxi rides?" The man's voice was a simple question, but the light in his eyes was not simple at all.

"Huh?" Tang Xin was a little confused as to why he brought up the topic of taking a taxi.

"Even if I don't pay for this means of transportation, I should at least maintain it." Jin Taize clicked his tongue to show his dissatisfaction.

Tang Xin was stunned by the question. This was a forced sale, and the profits must be shady. So, she looked up at Jin Taize, her body inevitably stepping back, her voice tense, "What do you want?"

Jin Taize raised his head and pretended to think for a moment, "Breakfast, please. I'm sweating all over now, so I'm going to take a shower. We have eggs and bread at home, so it's reasonable for you to make me breakfast."

Tang Xin wondered how this man, who was always difficult to please and always gave trouble, could be satisfied so easily. So, she confirmed in disbelief, "That's it?"

Jin Taize took a step forward, lowered his body, and raised Tang Xin's chin with his finger. He met her eyes with a teasing look, "What do you want?"

This simple question made Tang Xin's face suddenly flush, as if she had been expecting him to do something to her.

She went up and pushed away Jin Taize's hand, yelling at him in a bluffing manner, "I'm not thinking about anything. I'm going to make breakfast." She turned and walked towards the kitchen.

Before she entered the kitchen, Jin Taize stretched his neck and shouted in that direction, "I like runny eggs." There was a smile in the corners of his eyes and eyebrows.

A simple operation like frying an egg is not difficult for Tang Xin. Fortunately, she also likes to eat soft-boiled eggs, so she has a good control of the heat.

Although Jin Taize said that there was bread at home, she still wanted to see what she could do, so she made some oatmeal porridge with a bag of oats on the kitchen counter and milk in the refrigerator, and also sliced tomatoes as vegetables for breakfast.

Tang Xin lowered her head to carry the last of the tomatoes into the dining room, but was suddenly blocked by a towering figure at the kitchen door. She stumbled to a stop, and stared blankly at a bare chest covered in water droplets.

Tang Xin didn't know where to look. The man had broad shoulders and narrow hips, with a towel draped around his neck. The wet water on his chest flowed down along the well-defined muscles.

The mermaid lines formed by long-term exercise stretched ostentatiously from both sides of the abdominal muscles. The white bath towel was loosened at the waist, taking away the distracted and passionate feelings. The calves exposed under the bath towel were covered with a dense layer of leg hair. The contrast between the honey-colored skin and the white bath towel was sharp and sexy.

The male hormones were so thick in the room that they couldn't be dissolved.

The formal suit and shirt he usually wears somewhat wastes his good figure. His perfect muscles and skeleton make him look thin when dressed, but muscular when undressed. Without his neat clothes, he is more in line with his nature at this moment, a seductive yet fear-inducing beast.

Tang Xin seemed to be the one who had just taken a shower. After a long pause, a layer of red mist covered her face. She scolded, "You came out after taking a shower without getting dressed properly."

Jin Taize looked down at himself, bewildered, "Isn't this exposed anywhere?"

Tang Xin ignored him and lowered her head to walk out, but Jin Taize stood motionless at the door. Tang Xin raised her eyelids and looked at him, holding the plate. "Why don't you move over!"

Jin Taize gave her a look that showed he couldn't understand what she meant at all, curled his lips and shrugged, saying, "Go away."

Looking at Jin Taize's innocent and exaggerated look, Tang Xin was too lazy to play dumb with him. She glanced at him and simply walked through the gap between the door frame and his body with the plate in her hand.

Even with all her caution, the cramped space still caused her forearm to brush against his waist. The moment their skin touched, it was like water dripping into a dried-up pot, sizzling and scorching, producing tiny, dancing droplets.

Tang Xin was almost panicked and ran away quickly with her head down.

Tai Ze looked down at the path her arm had brushed across his waist and abdomen, a smile of delight crossing his face. His eyebrows raised, he followed her to the bedroom to get a bathrobe.

After coming out, Tang Xin wasn't around to be found. Jin Taize walked to the dining table and felt hungry. For breakfast at home, he'd either make a simple meal of boiled eggs and bread, or ask Hu Yang to buy him two random items. So, there was basically nothing to eat at home.

Seeing the prepared dishes and the carefully arranged plates, he raised an eyebrow. The only ingredients at home could be used to match meat and vegetables, and the nutrition was balanced. It would feel completely different with more women at home.
