Gold Medal Sweetheart

Chapter 189 I’m coming

"Dad, Mom, are you guys traveling with a tour group or on your own?" Tang Xin said as she stuffed a disposable toilet seat cover into the compartment of her mother's small bag. "I found a Yunnan travel guide for you last night. I'll send it to you later."

"No need," Tang's father said with a smile, "The company provides a local guide, has planned the route, and will accompany you throughout the trip."

"Wow, this treatment is too good." Tang Xin shouted enviously.

"Yes, this time the company has rented a house, and it's in a high-end community with a particularly good environment. I'm a little confused, are you going on vacation or to work?" Tang's father smiled naively.

"Dad, let's take the luggage downstairs first and then take a taxi. This way, we won't feel uneasy when the driver arrives." Tang Xin pulled one of the suitcases out, "I'll go down first..."

Tang's father felt sorry for his daughter and stepped forward to stop her, "You can't move this, let me do it."

"Dad, I can move it." The father and son started fighting over the suitcase, and the suitcase became unstable and started to slip in their hands.

Suddenly, a hand pressed down the rotating box, and a steady voice calmed all the restlessness, "Uncle, I'll do it."

The father and son both looked at the newcomer in tacit understanding. He was wearing a familiar, exquisite suit and had a handsome face. Tang Xin was stunned. The man she had just rejected at noon actually showed up here?

Tang's mother came out of the house upon hearing the noise and asked, "Who is it?"

"Taize?" Tang's mother called out the name subconsciously, then suddenly realized it was inappropriate and quickly corrected it, "Boss Jin."

"Uncle, Auntie, please don't call me that. Tang Xinsuan and I are colleagues and friends." Jin Taize took the luggage bag from Tang's mother very naturally. "I heard that you and Uncle were going on a business trip, so I offered to take you to the airport as a bribe. I just hope you can bring me some delicious food like last time. Because the food last time was so delicious."

After all, the emotional foundation of the first meeting was relatively good. Jin Taize's half-formal and half-joking words broke the deadlock in an instant. Tang's mother said, "I said you are a thoughtful child."

Tang's father also nodded repeatedly, "Taize, this child is really good!"

The three of them chatted happily like old friends who hadn't seen each other for years, leaving Tang Xin alone. She was so embarrassed she didn't want to talk. The impression she had carefully created for her parents of a cool, unthreatening CEO was shattered in just a few words.

"Whatever you want to eat, you can find it online and it will be delivered in a few days." Tang Xin, the topic terminator, ruthlessly exposed the issue.

"There's so much stuff online, how can we compare?" Tang's father waved his hand. "The ones we bought last time were all tasted and compared."

Even her honest father came to spoil things. Tang Xin asked herself that there was no place for her here, so she went downstairs first.

"This child," Tang's mother smiled awkwardly, "Ignore her."

Tang's father asked sheepishly, "This box is very heavy, Tai Ze, can we carry it together?"

Jin Taize picked up the suitcase easily and said, "Uncle, let me do it. You and Auntie just walk slowly behind." After saying that, he followed him down.

As the footsteps faded away, Tang's father hesitated, "Didn't he say he was the president?"

"Have you ever seen a subordinate talk to the CEO like that?" Tang's mother raised an eyebrow at the honest and kind Tang's father, and asked in frustration, "The CEO can come and take us to the airport? He must be a colleague or a minor boss, right?"

Thinking of this, Tang's mother brightened up again. Their generation valued matching up with someone of equal status. If it was the CEO, she'd be genuinely worried that her humble family wouldn't be good enough for him, and her daughter would be upset. But colleagues were different. They saw each other every day, so there was always a chance for things to develop.

"What are you doing here?" Tang Xin asked him with her hands on her hips when she saw Jin Taize coming down.

"Didn't I just tell you?" Jin Taize put his luggage in the trunk, "I came here to bribe my uncle and aunt."

"Did you know my parents were leaving today?" Tang Xin raised her eyebrows. Although she saw his calm response, she couldn't help but wonder. How could they have arrived at such a coincidence?
