Gold Medal Sweetheart

Chapter 139: Find a Quiet Place

She raised her head and looked up at him, and was about to say it again when Jin Taize stopped her and said, "Because this is a charity dinner."

Tang Xin was completely confused and didn't understand what he meant. Her eyes widened, "Huh?"

Jin Taize's eyes were deep, and he seemed to be patiently explaining the doubts, "Because bringing you here is a charity."

Tang Xin, "..." Her smile froze.

Damn it! She couldn't help but curse in her heart. His harmless smile only made her even more angry. She had actually thought he was going to say something serious. Yet, she was tricked by this bastard again.

Teacher Tang gave him a sidelong glance and shook off his hand angrily, "Thank you so much." In this kind of occasion, he was the focus and it was inevitable that some people would want to get to know him, so Tang Xin walked to a place with fewer people.

Jin Taize raised his eyebrows. It is said that women look good when they are angry, and beautiful women look even better when they are angry.

As soon as they entered, some people were eager to come over and greet Jin Taize, while others wanted to take the opportunity to be introduced to this influential figure. Since only Mr. Jin was left, it was convenient to talk further, and two people had already walked over.

Tang Xin couldn't help but follow suit. Judging from his age, he seemed to be a senior, but his attitude was as warm and respectful as a junior.

Several men in suits stood prominently in the conference room, chatting quietly about the current economic situation and business models. Tang Xin walked over to the table and watched as Jin Taize finished a lengthy presentation before the two middle-aged men. He didn't know what he said, but it wasn't long. His eyes flashed, and he nodded repeatedly, as if he had just been enlightened.

The guests were growing in number, many of them business acquaintances, so they naturally chatted warmly and worldly. Tang Xin felt that she didn't want to know anyone, and it would be best if no one knew her, so she simply found a quiet corner.

Sitting down in a sparsely populated area of the corridor outside, Tang Xin sought a quiet spot by herself.

The night was beautiful, and the air was filled with the faint fragrance of flowers. Taking a deep breath, I felt my whole body and soul cleansed and invigorated.

"It's still the most comfortable here."

The sudden intrusion of a male voice made Tang Xin's back tighten, and she suddenly looked at the man leaning against the corridor.

The man had a pair of almond-shaped eyes, and the upturned corners of his eyes were mixed with the amorous night color.

"It seems that there are people here who share the same ideals as me." The man followed the woman's gaze.

Realizing that the man was talking about her, Tang Xin smiled politely, thinking to herself that this was another person who wanted to use her as a connection.

"Usually, the way to kill boredom at times like this is to go out and get some fresh air alone." The man tilted his head to watch her movements.

Tang Xin sat there, her eyebrows slightly raised, waiting to see what this man was going to do. "It seems you are quite experienced?"

The man lowered his head and smiled, then raised his head and tutted, his half-closed eyes filled with unbridled charm, "You're right."

As he spoke, he squatted down and pulled out a coin from his inside suit pocket, shaking it in front of Tang Xin's eyes. Then, he hid the coin behind his hand, and a crisp clattering sound echoed from the table in front of him.

Tang Xin could probably guess what he was going to do, and her eyes were fixed on the table, trying to decipher the mystery.

She tightened her fingers on the edge of the chair, and the man saw a pair of focused beautiful eyes, and a smile appeared at the corner of his mouth, which was exactly what he wanted.

As the man exerted force in an instant, the coin disappeared. At the same time, there was a pleasant jingle, and the coin seemed to magically pass through the table and fall into the cup that the man was waiting for under the table.

She had seen many magic tricks like this on TV, but it was the first time someone performed it live for her, and she still felt novel and shocked.

She glanced at the man with surprise and delight. The man raised his eyebrows, feeling a little proud of himself for having whetted the woman's appetite.

"It seems that you have found a good way to relax during these banquets and social events." Tang Xin said jokingly.

"Just entertain yourself," the man smiled. A rubber band had been put on his hand without him noticing. He glanced at Tang Xin mysteriously, "This little magic trick I'm going to do by myself isn't something I can do alone. I need your cooperation."
