The most important thing is that all of this is controllable. As long as there is a need, we can produce as much as we want. Shanxi Province is rich in coal and has a natural advantage in thermal power generation. We can use local materials to build a large number of thermal power stations to support the industrial development of the base.
In addition to the equipment for thermal power plants, we can produce them completely independently. We can also provide as much electrical wires as needed. We no longer need to send people to cut the enemy's electrical wires to build our power transmission network.
In fact, the reason why thermal power plants could not be built in the past was that, in addition to the corresponding power generation equipment, electrical wires were also relatively difficult to obtain.
In order to transmit the generated electricity from thermal power plants to factories or people's homes, a large number of wires are needed, and this is what we have always lacked.
The conductor material used to produce wires is pure copper, and the outer insulating material is generally natural rubber. We were in urgent need of these two materials before. They were not even enough to make bullet shells. Who would use them to produce wires, which cannot directly kill the enemy?
The wires we got back from the enemy are just a drop in the bucket for our needs. After all, the Japanese are very stingy and they don't have much of this kind of stuff.
It was not until Kong Hao brought back a large amount of smelted copper ingots and millions of tons of high-quality copper ore from the Kangaroo Country that we solved the problem of raw materials.
By conversion, one ton of copper can produce about 100 kilometers of electric wire. A county town generally needs 20 tons of copper. This consumption is nothing compared to the pure copper output of our industrial zone.

Our technicians have synthesized polyvinyl chloride from these by-products based on existing technology. This is an excellent material with extremely good thermoplasticity. After adding the corresponding stabilizer, it has properties such as wear resistance and moisture resistance. It can even maintain excellent performance at temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Celsius, making it the best alternative material for wire insulation.
Moreover, this thing has a wide range of uses and can replace many metal products, such as packaging bags, plastic bottles, plastic lunch boxes, shells of many modern home appliances, water pipes, sewer pipes, etc.
At present, breakthroughs have been made in key technologies. Although the monthly output is only 5,000 tons, the corresponding bottleneck no longer exists. As long as resources are invested in building corresponding production lines, there will be no problem even if the annual output reaches one million tons.
Although Europe and the United States can also extract polyvinyl chloride, the corresponding technology is at least 20 years behind ours. There is no way, it's because Kong Hao's system is too amazing.
At the same time, technology like this is not valuable at all in the system, and can be exchanged for just a few merit points.
If Kong Hao hadn't wanted to force things, we could have achieved leapfrog development and researched weapons and equipment decades in the future.
There are many such examples in our base. In short, our industrial R&D capabilities are seriously underestimated. I guess no one has noticed it except Kong Hao himself.
