Chapter 41: Everything is for the greatest good
In the Gryffindor Headmaster's office, Suning sat obediently opposite Professor McGonagall, with a hint of shyness and reserve on his face.
His eyes sparkled with curiosity and anticipation, and he seemed to be full of awe for this place. Professor McGonagall looked at the boy in front of her, with a hint of love in her eyes. She asked gently:
"Suning, how do you feel about the two days of classes? Do you have any special gains or feelings?"
Suning raised his head and answered with a firm and sincere look:
"Professor McGonagall, I have benefited a lot from the classes over the past two days. I have learned a lot and made many new friends. The atmosphere here is very good and everyone is very friendly and enthusiastic. I really like it here and feel very satisfied."
This was not an impromptu response, but a sincere one from Suning. He was very grateful to the owl for bringing him the Hogwarts admission letter. Although the timing seemed a little wrong, everything was "normal" so far.
He has been studying in Hogwarts for two days!
Compared to the previous bumpy experience, there is only today and I don’t have time to worry about tomorrow. This place is simply heaven!
Professor McGonagall nodded in satisfaction. She looked at the child in front of her and made a plan in her mind:
"Then, let's make up for the Transfiguration class you missed. If we can make good progress..."
Suning took out his notes, compared them with the book, and started his first tutoring session.
................................................................
"Old friend, I think you should stay in Nurmengard instead of here at this time."
A slightly old voice came from the darkness, with a hint of helplessness and vigilance, and even some nostalgia?
"buzz"
The fire was lit
Another person chuckled and responded:
"Hey Albus, we haven't seen each other in over 40 years"
"I've been there for almost 40 years, so it's okay for me to come out and move around a bit."
In the principal's office, the fire was unusually dim at this moment. It seemed that no matter how hard it burned, it would always be like this.
All the murals on the walls are empty.
A figure gradually emerged, wearing a black robe and a faint smile on his face.
He walked over to the table, sat down, picked up the wizard hat cupcake on the table, and looked at it carefully.
"Well, you still eat such sweet things. Aren't you afraid of losing all your old teeth?"
"Oh, I forgot, the person in front of me is the famous white wizard Dumbledore, how could he lose his teeth because of a little dessert? If he does, I will beat you to a pulp."
He said jokingly.
Dumbledore helplessly looked at his old friend who was eating and taking things in front of him, his index finger tapping the table unconsciously.
He couldn't figure out what exactly caused this "good friend" who had once been self-enclosed to walk out of the prison.
"Gellert, if the Ministry of Magic knew that you escaped from Nurmengard..."
"Hey, dear Albus, you know, please don't use the word escape. There is no place that can trap me. As for the Ministry of Magic, haha, it's just a reserve for a group of cowards. They dare not enter Nurmengard."
Gellert Grindelwald sat relaxed in his chair and continued to enjoy his dessert.
In just two days, the chair under his butt had been sat on by an unknown little wizard, the headmaster of Gryffindor at Hogwarts, and the headmaster of Slytherin. Now, a heavyweight was sitting on this stool.
Dumbledore sighed and stopped dwelling on this question. He knew that Grindelwald was right. With his abilities, the Ministry of Magic really couldn't do anything to him.
"Tell me, what is the matter that brought you to see me this time?"
Dumbledore got straight to the point. Grindelwald smiled and put down the cake in his hand.
"Well, let me think about it. One, I came to see you, my old "friend", and the other, I wanted to..."
"I want someone for you"
Dumbledore's half-moon glasses flashed white light for a moment, and he looked at Gellert Grindelwald expressionlessly, his eyes deep and sharp.
"Don't look at me like a villain. You should know exactly what kind of person I am. How could I possibly..."
Gellert Grindelwald's voice was calm and firm, but there seemed to be a hint of dissatisfaction hidden in it.
"Okay, okay"
Seeing that Dumbledore still didn't speak, Gellert Grindelwald shrugged his shoulders to show his compromise, then raised the corners of his mouth slightly, revealing a sly smile.
"Suning Brandt"
He said softly, with a meaningful tone in his voice.
“A very interesting kid.”
After Gellert Grindelwald finished speaking, the headmaster's office fell into silence.
Dumbledore was silent for a moment before he slowly spoke:
"Suning? Why is it him?"
Grindelwald stood up from his seat, walked slowly to the window, turned his back to Dumbledore, and looked at the scenery outside the window.
His voice was low and calm:
"He's pretty special, isn't he?"
Then he added:
"So special that even you didn't foresee his appearance."
Then he turned and looked at Dumbledore with a faint smile on his face:
"In that case, I will accept him. This will not affect your plan in any way, and I will also be very satisfied. Isn't that good?"
Dumbledore looked at the familiar yet unfamiliar figure in front of the window and did not ask him how he knew Suning.
Instead, he shook his head slowly:
"Gellert, he is a student at Hogwarts"
"Ha, I knew you would say that."
"But you will give it to me, because......"
Gellert Grindelwald looked back at Dumbledore and smiled inexplicably
Come and go in a hurry
A gust of wind swept in, blowing open the window in front of Gellert Grindelwald, and then he turned into a ball of black mist and disappeared.
Dumbledore looked at the moon outside the window with a complicated expression. He knew that there was one thing Gellert hadn't told him, which was...
"Everything is for the greater good..."
But, what exactly is the reason that makes Gellert so... "interested"?
What kind of fate made them meet?
Does it mean that for every Dark Lord, one Child of Destiny is needed, and since there are two Dark Lords, two Children of Destiny are needed?
Dumbledore felt that things were somehow out of control...
At this moment, Professor Snape, dressed in black and with dishevelled hair, arrived here with a gloomy face and a wand in his hand.
He looked at the dimly lit headmaster's office and the absent-minded Dumbledore, paused, and then said sarcastically:
"I thought this was Knockturn Alley."
He waved his robes, and the fire in the fireplace began to roar, and the principal's office became bright again.
After a long while, Dumbledore looked at Snape who was still standing there, and finally said:
"Relax, Professor Snape, this is Hogwarts"
Dumbledore's eyes became bright and sharp again.
