As the night deepened, the rebel camp on the eastern border was shrouded in dead silence. The rebel commander was pale and trembling all over. He knew that the situation was hopeless and all resistance was meaningless. He knelt on the ground and begged in a low voice: "Please spare my life! I am willing to confess and surrender!"

Xiao Shi sneered and waved his hand to signal the soldiers to escort him out of the tent. With the capture of the rebel commander, the resistance of the entire camp became more scattered and weak.
