"So what do we do now, Stark?"

Iron Man just rubbed his face tiredly, to be honest he didn't know what to do when he saw that the Avengers Headquarters was almost empty.

It's been a week since the nine Avengers went missing after a mission to a Hydra-controlled base in Eastern Europe. Iron Man is more anxious than ever. His friends and teammates are missing, vanished from the face of the earth, and he has no idea how this happened.

The moment the connection between him and Captain America was severed, Iron Man immediately donned his latest armor and flew at nearly the speed of light to their last known location. When he arrived, he found a large group of HYDRA agents tied together, a giant Ultron head named Ultimo, a Quinjet parked there, and clear signs of a fierce battle.

But there were no members of the Avengers, no sign of Captain America, Black Widow, the Wonder Twins, Ant-Man and the Wasp, his best friend War Machine, Birdman Falcon, or Ultron’s Vision, not one!

Iron Man tried his best to figure out what was going on here, but all he got was static and sparks from the base's technological malfunction. So as usual, he took everything back to the base to study it, hoping to find something.

It wasn't long before he called Hawkeye, and the greatest archer on Earth arrived in less than an hour.

For a week, the two had been discussing and thinking about what to do now. Their friend was missing, and the Avengers were basically disbanded. To make matters worse, they had no idea how to contact Thor, and they had never found the Hulk since he disappeared earlier in the year.

As far as the Avengers were concerned, they were the only two left on Earth.

"Stark," Hawkeye's voice interrupted Iron Man's thoughts, causing the iron hero to turn to his colleague.

"Ok?"

"I know you're thinking right now, but you haven't answered my question yet. What do we do now?"

"Clint, I don't know what to tell you, but I have a plan."

"Then what's your plan?"

“Very interesting.”

"Boss."

They both looked up and heard the voice of AI Friday.

"Friday?"

"Hank Pym is here to see you."

"Great." Iron Man muttered.

A few minutes later, the creator of the Pym particles stomped into the conference room, his face furious, and said, "Stark, you'd better explain to me why my daughter and students are missing, and how am I going to tell Cathy about this?"

"I don't know what to tell you, Pym," the Man of Steel said impatiently, finding his usual sarcastic wit gone missing at the moment.

Iron Man then continued, "Haven't you noticed, the entire team is missing, and I have no idea how that happened or where they are."

Hank froze at this, until Clint stepped between the two men.

Hawkeye said firmly, "Alright, stop arguing, both of you. Right now, we are dealing with the disappearance of nine superheroes. We don't know where any of them are. The last thing we need right now is a meaningless quarrel like this between you two. If you want to argue, save it for later."

The two men looked at each other and stopped arguing. Iron Man leaned lazily on the conference table.

"What the hell is going on, Stark?" Hank asked. "One minute, Hope and Scott's sensors are working fine, and the next minute, they disappear."

Iron Man said coldly, "Did you not hear me? I just said that the entire team is missing and Earth is suddenly short-handed without the Avengers to defend it. Clint and I can only do so much because there are only two of us."

"What are you going to do?"

Iron Man frowned: "What should I do? Listen, Pym, if you don't realize this, then I repeat, before we figure out the reason, we just go looking for them aimlessly, do you think it's feasible?"

Hank Pym grabbed the back of a nearby chair, calmed down, sighed and said, "Okay, Stark, what can we do now?"

"First, we can look at the technology I acquired from the Hydra base, as this may be the reason why the team is missing. We have now discovered how this technology works, and we are one step closer to finding our lost friends and family."

Hawkeye stood up and said, "I'm going to contact some old friends to see if I can find any clues."

Hank Pym asked, "Can you contact Fury? He might know something."

"Friday, contact Fury."

"I don't have his contact information, sir."

"Then maybe next time. Dr. Pym, if you're willing, the technology I brought back from the Hydra base is now in the laboratory. We'd better start studying these technologies as soon as possible. These are the most important things at the moment. Let's see if we can find any clues."

"Lead the way, Stark."
