Man in the Ark: Revitalizing Kazdel

Chapter 18 The Civil War Will End in Our Hands

"So Mr. Roy, you are also the Demon King of the Sarkaz?"

Many elite operators are not Sarkaz. They only know that the Demon King is a strong one among the Sarkaz, but they don’t know what the Demon King represents to their own people.

Some Sarkaz elite operators felt like they were hallucinating, but the feeling brought by the black crown was so real that their princes nodded and confirmed Roy's identity.

It was not convenient to ask now, so they had to accept this fact and wait for a chance to ask Roy or His Highness later.

After knowing the identity of Demon Lord Roy, the elite operators are full of confidence in winning the civil war in one fell swoop. They have to prepare themselves during this period to welcome this final decisive battle.

After the meeting, Theresa specifically called Roy to her office and said she wanted to introduce him to the situation inside Kazdel City.

Theresa took a box from the bookshelf and opened it to reveal a huge map.

It contains information such as the various divisions of Kazdale City, important facilities, the location of the core city, etc.

Theresa knew the danger of this operation. Although she was aware of Roy's strength, she still gave him earnest advice.

"Roy, you must be careful during this operation. If you encounter any danger and can't handle it, run away."

"Once we resolve the battle here, we'll come to support you."

.......

Theresa was still talking, but Roy's next action interrupted her.

Roy reached out and held her slightly cold hand.

He looked into her eyes and said, "Don't be nervous, Theresa. We will definitely win, don't worry."

Roy could see that Theresa was a little nervous about the upcoming battle, even though she was hundreds of years old and was once known as the "Six Heroes of Kazdel."

But this time she was facing her brother in the final battle. The outcome of their fight would determine the future of the Sarkaz. She couldn't help but feel nervous, so she kept chattering here.

On the one hand, I was worried about Roy, and on the other hand, I wanted to cheer myself up.

Roy tightened his grip and said, "If you can't do it, I'll deal with Tracys. You go to Kazdel City."

Theresa closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths. When she opened them again, the confusion and tension in her eyes had disappeared.

"Leave my stupid brother to me and educate him. Roy, just concentrate on your mission."

Theresa had returned to her usual strong and resolute leader form, and Roy's hand had regained its warmth and strength.

Seeing Theresa back to normal, Roy picked up the map on the desk and prepared to leave. Just as he opened the door, Theresa called him.

"Roy, after the war is won, I can... you must come back safely!"

Roy couldn't help but take a deep breath after hearing the content.

After leaving Theresa's office, Roy went to see Klushier again. He had something else to tell her.

Roy quickly found Klushier on the deck, where she was checking the condition of the ship's guns.

Seeing Roy coming, she stopped what she was doing, wiped her hands on her clothes, and asked.

"Roy, what do you want to talk to me about?"

Roy took out the hundreds of pure Originium stones he had rubbed over the past few days and told Klushier that these could enhance the power of the ship's guns, but would increase the difficulty of control, so she would need to judge the situation herself and use them.

It was the first time that Kuluciel saw so many pure Originiums, and her eyes sparkled. But she knew the importance of these Originiums, so she carefully put them away.

Roy asked her about the staff he had asked her to make before, and Lucille said it was already finished and asked Roy to get it from the counter of the shop himself.

There was a female film operator sitting in the store. Because Kalshiel had been extremely busy recently and had no time to look after the store, she had to ask someone else to look after it for her.

Roy gave his name and said that it was Klushier who asked him to get the staff.

Operator Film moved a huge long box from under the counter. Roy opened it and checked it, but found nothing wrong.

After bidding farewell to the Film Operator, Roy took the box away.

......

I knocked on Nightingale's dormitory door again, and this time it was Nightingale who opened the door.

She looked at Roy who was carrying the box and asked with some confusion.

"Roy, why are you here?"

Then she opened the door and let Roy in. This was the first time Roy entered their dormitory.

The room was simple, without any fancy decorations, except for some strange stones placed by the window, which might have been collected during travels.

There are two doors in the room, it seems that Shining and Nightingale sleep separately.

"The staff I made earlier is ready, you try it." Roy moved the box onto the table, took out the staff from inside and handed it to Nightingale.

"Isn't Shining in the dormitory?" Roy looked around but didn't see Shining.

Before he finished speaking, Roy heard the door open and Shining walked in.

Shining's image had changed greatly from when he first met Roy. The black robe he had been wearing was changed. His long hair was tied up high, revealing his swan-like white neck.

"Roy, you're here."

Shining greeted Roy calmly and walked over to sit next to him.

Nightingale waved the staff a few times and tried to cast a spell. This time the range was much smaller, but the spell strength was much higher.

"The staff comes in handy, thank you Roy!"

Nightingale also sat next to Roy with a staff in his hand, and now he was double-teamed by two people.

"It's okay, whatever you think is appropriate."

"Roy, what have you been busy with lately? You're not seen during the day."

Nightingale noticed that Roy seemed to have something to say and took the initiative to start the conversation.

"Babel is about to have a decisive battle with the Military Committee, and the civil war will soon be over. I will leave Rhodes Island tomorrow to make final preparations."

Roy said all the important things in one breath, and the room fell into silence.

"Roy, are you going to join the battle too?" Nightingale asked worriedly.

Roy nodded, looked at Nightingale and said, "Well, of course. My purpose in joining here is to end this civil war."

Shining on the side took out his staff and said seriously, "Is there anything we can help you with?"

"Yes, Roy, do you need us to help you with anything?" Nightingale asked quickly, raising her staff.

Roy knew what they meant, but still refused sternly: "You stay here and support the operators in the battle. Protect your own safety first."

"Shining, protect Nightingale and wait for me to come back."

Shining nodded, telling Roy not to worry. Nightingale wanted to say more, but was suppressed by Roy's serious gaze.

She had no choice but to lower her head in disappointment. She also knew her situation and staying here was the best option.

Seeing Nightingale like this, Roy reached out and put his hand on her head and rubbed it, making her neat blonde hair become messy.

"Don't worry, with my strength, no one can stop me from escaping."

"When the war is over, we will go shopping in Kazdel City together."

Roy stretched out his little finger and motioned Nightingale to hook his little finger with his.

Shining also reached out his hand, and the three of them hooked their pinky fingers together.
