In the Turpan area of Xinjiang, mainland China, the sun shines scorchingly on this barren land.

Wang Chun stood in front of the ancient city of Gaochang, watching the workers working hard to repair this ancient city that was once glorious but now looked a little dilapidated.

In order to capture the most stunning visual effects, the filming team decided to carry out large-scale expansion and renovation work on the Gaochang City, which was already somewhat damaged and dilapidated.

At this moment, Wang Chun was always followed closely by a guard from the base.

These professionally trained fighters, even though the environment looks safe now, are like vigilant falcons, always closely observing the movements around them.

Recalling the thrilling experience he had while filming in Hebei, Wang Chun still has lingering fears.

At that time, their film crew was surrounded by a large group of emotional young people.

The situation gradually got out of control, and the initial verbal dispute quickly escalated into a physical conflict.

Fortunately, the military dispatched personnel to the scene in time and successfully suppressed the volcano that was about to erupt with its powerful deterrent force.

Now the mainland and South China are very close partners, and Wang Chun is a senior executive of South China. If something happens to them in the mainland, it will definitely have a huge impact on the relationship between the two countries.

Since then, the guards responsible for protecting the safety of Wang Chun and other Nanhua personnel have not dared to relax at all.

After all, if Wang Chun and others encountered any unexpected situation here, they would not have the face to go back to Xincheng.

Especially in the Hebei incident, Nanhua’s security personnel were almost forced to prepare to use firearms.

Because some young people who had lost their minds rushed towards the Nanhua staff recklessly.

Because of this, Wang Chun had to hastily end his filming schedule in Hebei and rush to Turpan in advance to shoot the scene of Flaming Mountain.

Compared with the tense and depressing atmosphere in the mainland, the environment in Turpan is relatively relaxed.

It was precisely because of this that Wang Chun was able to put down the heavy weight in his heart a little and feel a little relieved about the safety of the entire large crew of more than a thousand people.

The airship that was specially dispatched from South China was used exclusively for the purchase of supplies for the entire crew, and it also allowed this large crew to enjoy a moment of peace in this remote location.

Time flies, and in a blink of an eye, Wang Chun has been in the mainland for two years.

During these long seven hundred days and nights, she had only returned to Xincheng three times. With a senior executive of Nanhua like her staying here, the security and treatment of the crew would obviously be much better. This was also the reason why she could not leave for a long time. She really couldn't bear to give up the crew.

Despite our efforts in filming over the past two years, the amount of effective content we have actually obtained is pitifully small.

The script, originally planned and written by Nanhua Television, underwent several revisions and adjustments after coming to the mainland.

It was not until recently, after countless discussions and debates, that the final version of the script was finalized.

The series is scheduled to run for 42 episodes and will cover nearly every spectacular landscape on the continent.

But the current environment makes Wang Chun very distressed.

Even though South China urgently summoned its ambassador to the mainland after the Hebei conflict and solemnly made a request to the other party, it hoped that the mainland could further strengthen security measures for the film crew.

But the situation has not improved significantly.

The tense and depressing atmosphere within the mainland remains the same, with no substantial changes at all.

In particular, the subject of this filming is "Journey to the West", a classic masterpiece full of various magical immortal and Buddhist elements.

However, the contents depicted in it are obviously somewhat incompatible with today's society.

As bad situations occurred one after another, even the mainland TV stations began to back out and planned to terminate the cooperative filming directly!

Fortunately, the mainland Ministry of Foreign Affairs stepped forward and put pressure on the mainland TV station, successfully stopping their action. Otherwise, I can’t imagine what kind of ending this team would face. Maybe they would have already fallen apart and gone their separate ways.

At this time, the atmosphere within the team was so solemn that it was suffocating.

Although many people were lucky enough to participate in the "Journey to the West" project, the situation of their close friends, fellow disciples, and even their teachers was not optimistic.

Although we are in the remote Xinjiang region, various news and letters from the mainland still arrive from time to time.

Wang Chun could often hear bursts of sobbing coming from the tent.

At the beginning, whenever she heard crying, the kind-hearted girl would rush over to check if anyone was being bullied in the crew.

But after knowing the reason, she could only do a good job in logistics so that these people could find peace here.

In this way, the entire project has been shrouded in such a depressing and dull environment and has been progressing with difficulty.

Every time she saw the results of the filming, Wang Chun always felt that the dark plot made her feel uncomfortable, as if the Monkey King was portrayed as too tragic.

But apart from that, she also had to admit that the finished products produced by these mainland art practitioners were indeed quite outstanding.

In the past two years, the development of the Nanhua area has not stagnated due to various difficulties.

ASEAN member states have successfully achieved comprehensive connectivity through optical cables, and computers have gradually become known and widely used by ordinary people in ASEAN countries.

Although you cannot afford it, there are already Internet cafes where you can surf the Internet and get news from all over ASEAN for very little money.

The emergence of Internet cafes has further accelerated the popularization of Chinese in ASEAN.

Children, in particular, learn very quickly and can now chat online and play games proficiently in Chinese.

As the network connected, exchanges within ASEAN became closer, and precisely because of this closeness, a large-scale construction plan began.

One hundred thousand engineering personnel from the mainland, plus the fifty thousand people recruited by Nanhua itself, and the engineering teams of various countries have now begun to build the ASEAN International Highway.

This route will start from Yunnan on the mainland, go along the border between Myanmar and Laos, go all the way south, then turn to South China from Thailand, and then pass through Malaysia and Singapore.

Then from Singapore, it goes through Batam Island into Sumatra Island and extends eastward all the way to Bali Island, then crosses the sea to the north, connecting northern Indonesia and the Philippines.

The highway project, with a total length of 8100 kilometers, is the longest highway in the world today.
