The next day, as the morning light penetrated the carved window lattices of the guesthouse, weaving a fine golden web on Gu Fanxing's pillow, she turned over and her nose was suddenly touched by the aroma of burnt fried eggs. From downstairs came the clinking of porcelain bowls, mixed with Pei Luonan's hearty laughter: "Boss, add two more fried dough sticks! Haoyu has already cleared half of the plate!"

Kong Haoyu was about to stuff the fried dough stick into his mouth when he saw Xiao Fangfei glaring at him with her nose wrinkled. He immediately broke the dough stick in half and handed her half attentively: "Fangfei, try this. It's crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It's much better than the one I bought in the city last time after queuing up!"

Xiao Fangfei rolled her eyes at him, picked up the tip of the fried dough stick with a bamboo stick and took a bite: "Stop talking nonsense."

When she turned around to pick up some glutinous rice cake for Jiuer, Kong Haoyu stared at the crumbs at the corner of her mouth. His Adam's apple moved unconsciously and he gently wiped the corner of her mouth with a tissue.

Du Fei silently raised his camera and captured the scene.

After breakfast, the six of them were busy setting up the site for camping under the stars that night.

Du Fei was busy setting up the tripod, but the camera was always disturbed by Kong Haoyu's running fill light.

"Stop shaking! If you keep shaking, the stars will be turned into the sun!" Du Fei shouted at Kong Haoyu.

Ling Jiuer laughed so hard that she couldn't straighten her back, and the guitar strings vibrated out of tune.

Xiao Fangfei took the opportunity to move over and said, "Jiuer, can you teach Du Fei to play a few lines of the song 'Little Lucky'? I want to see what weird tunes that Du Fei, that blockhead, can play." After she said that, a sly smile appeared on her face.

Ling Jiuer raised an eyebrow: "Want to learn? First, help me press the four corners of the picnic mat with stones."

"Du Fei, Master Ling is willing to teach, so you, as his disciple, must perform well." Kong Haoyu gave Xiao Fangfei a triumphant look.

Du Fei scratched his head and had to run to move the stones, and at the same time sorted out everyone else's things.

When he came back panting, Ling Jiuer stuffed the guitar into his arms and said, "Put your hands here and hold it tight."

Her fingers covered the back of Du Fei's hand to adjust the position. Du Fei only felt the palm of his hand was hot, and even the sound of Pei Luonan explaining the Orion Belt became blurred.

But after learning just half of the song, he made a jarring sound because he pressed the wrong chord. Ling Jiuer laughed out loud: "He really is a 'music black hole'. Forget it, go get some snacks for everyone."

As the bonfire gradually dimmed, Xiao Fangfei walked alone to the edge of the observation deck.

Kong Haoyu hesitated for ten minutes before following with his camera: "Miss Xiao, do you want me to take a photo of the starry sky for you?"

"If you take a picture of me that looks too ugly, you'll be in trouble."

As Kong Haoyu adjusted the parameters, his fingers brushed against Xiao Fangfei's hair. In the moonlight, the shadow of her eyelashes cast a gentle curve on her cheek.

"Okay." Kong Haoyu turned the camera over to show her. On the screen, the girl and the starry sky merged into one. Xiao Fangfei looked at the photo and said softly, "This is more like it."

The night wind blew past the two of them, and Kong Haoyu mustered up the courage: "Actually... you are brighter than the stars..." Before he could finish his words, he was interrupted by Du Fei's shouting in the distance.

The next morning, the B&B manager rang the bell, and everyone stepped into the bamboo forest on the back mountain in the morning light to start the treasure hunt.

Du Fei and Ling Jiuer formed a partnership. As soon as they entered the bamboo forest, Du Fei stumbled over a vine lying on the ground. Ling Jiuer quickly grabbed his backpack strap and said, "You're such a grown-up, yet you're still so impulsive."

Du Fei stood firm and chuckled, "I just wanted to perform a flat fall in front of you to make you laugh."

Ling Jiuer ignored him, squatted down and carefully observed the marks on the bamboo joints, and suddenly her eyes lit up: "Here!" She reached out to grab the badge stuck between the branches, but she was not tall enough.

Du Fei immediately squatted down: "Step on my shoulders."

Ling Jiuer hesitated for a moment, but still stepped on it. The moment her fingertips touched the badge, they both fell into a thick pile of fallen leaves because of unstable center of gravity.

Du Fei subconsciously used his arms to protect Ling Jiuer's head, but his back hit the protruding tree roots.

"Does it hurt?" Ling Jiuer supported herself on his chest and tried to get up, but her heart skipped a beat when she saw the seriousness in Du Fei's eyes.

"You get up first." She hurriedly pushed him away, her ears red: "You are so clumsy!" She said this, but secretly reached out to brush off the fallen leaves on Du Fei.

Kong Haoyu and Xiao Fangfei chose to explore deeper into the bamboo forest.

In the damp soil, Xiao Fangfei found a half-bamboo leaf mark and excitedly pulled Kong Haoyu's sleeve: "Here!"

When Kong Haoyu lowered his head, the tips of their noses almost touched. He took a half step back in panic, but the back of his head hit the bamboo, and the bamboo leaves fell down.

Xiao Fangfei laughed out loud, reached out to help him pick the dead leaves from his hair, and when her fingertips brushed across his burning earlobe, she instantly

Sensing something was wrong, he quickly moved his hand away.

Kong Haoyu's camera reflected his reddened ear tips more clearly.

The midday sun made the stone steps of the mountain hot, and everyone began the hiking challenge.

As the altitude increased, the mountain road became steeper and Ling Jiuer's pace gradually slowed down.

Du Fei noticed that she was running out of energy and silently took her backpack: "I'll carry it for you, just consider it a form of exercise."

Ling Jiuer wanted to refuse, but was stopped by Du Fei's firm eyes.

As he walked, he told Ling Jiuer all kinds of jokes, making her laugh from time to time, and her fatigue seemed to be relieved a lot.

During a break, Du Fei took out a bottle of water from his bag, unscrewed the cap and handed it to Ling Jiuer: "Come, drink some water." Ling Jiuer took the bottle with a red face: "It's not like I don't have hands." But when she tilted her head back to drink water, Du Fei suddenly reached out to block the glaring sunlight for her.

This action made Ling Jiuer choke: "What are you doing!"

"I'm worried you'll get sunburned." Du Fei scratched his head and took out a piece of candy from his pocket. "Yesterday I saw you staring at the candy in the store for a long time."

Ling Jiuer paused her fingers holding the candy wrapper and stuffed the candy into his hand: "Childish." She turned around and secretly folded the candy wrapper into small squares and put them in her bag.

When they set off again, Kong Haoyu casually stretched out his hand and said to Xiao Fangfei, "The road is slippery, I'll hold you."

Xiao Fangfei hesitated for a full half minute before putting her hand in his palm.

Kong Haoyu held the soft hand tightly, feeling full of strength, and led her to climb up step by step firmly.

At this moment, the heartbeats of the two people were particularly clear in the mountains.

The weather changed suddenly, and heavy rain poured down without warning.

The six of them ran to a viewing pavilion in a panic to take shelter from the rain. Ling Jiuer was shivering with cold, and Du Fei took off his coat and put it on her without hesitation: "Don't catch a cold."

Ling Jiuer wanted to refuse, but when she met his serious gaze, she had to whisper "thank you".

She didn't know that in order to prevent her from getting wet, Du Fei quietly exposed most of his body to the rain, letting the rain drip down the ends of his hair, and his lips were frozen to a little purple.

On the other side, Kong Haoyu silently moved Xiao Fangfei to the inside of the pavilion, leaving half of his body exposed to the rain.

Xiao Fangfei looked at Kong Haoyu's wet shoulders, and a warm feeling rose in her heart. She secretly took out a tissue from her bag and gently handed it to him: "Wipe it."

Kong Haoyu took the tissue and looked at her gently: "Just don't catch a cold."

…………

As night falls again, the bonfire in the backyard of the B&B is burning brightly, and the food on the grill emits an enticing aroma.

Looking at the warm interactions between Du Fei, Ling Jiuer, Kong Haoyu and Xiao Fangfei, Gu Fanxing gave Pei Luonan a look that showed she had accomplished something. Her assist plan was beginning to show results.

Pei Luonan gave her an admiring look: It's all thanks to our matchmaker.

As the residual heat of the bonfire gradually dissipated, the moonlight on the eaves of the B&B flowed quietly, witnessing that the three young couples had harvested feelings brighter than the starry sky during this journey.

Those glances that seem to want to say something but can't, and those unintentional touches, all turn into seeds, quietly taking root and sprouting in everyone's heart.
