Before I knew it, this book has been serialized for a whole year, and today, it is finally finished. How should I put it? When I first started writing this book, my writing style was still quite immature, especially when it reached 100,000 words. Because basically no one read it, I stopped for more than half a year.

Later, with the encouragement of some readers, I picked up my pen again and continued to write this book (shamelessly say creation). In short, I would like to thank the readers for their support again.

In fact, there were readers who hoped that I would continue writing. At the beginning, I had intended to end with the unification of the Central Plains. However, due to many reasons, I listened to everyone's advice and wrote a few hundred more chapters.

As of now, in fact, in the novel, Meng Jun's national strength is completely overwhelming compared to the surrounding areas. It is not impossible to continue writing, but for personal reasons, the passion has faded a little. Therefore, this book may not end here. There should be some extra chapters in the later stage. However, we will see the situation when the time comes.

This is the first book I have written, and there are certainly many shortcomings in it, especially in the characterization of some characters. Because the scope of the book is a bit too large, the author's writing skills still need to be improved. I hope that readers can understand the shortcomings.

Of course, I personally feel that the second book should be better than the first one in terms of writing skills, character creation, and control of the overall situation. Of course, this may also be my illusion.

"The Righteous Army of the Southern Ming Dynasty" has been completed with 1.42 million words. This is not only the first novel in my life, but also the first novel with over one million words.

When I was in school, I had to spend a long time to write a 500-word composition. I never thought that one day I would be able to write more than one million words! (⊙▽⊙)

To get back to the topic, Meng Jun’s story ends here. Then, a new protagonist and a new story will also make their debut.

For my second book, I plan to write about the late Qing Dynasty. The late Qing Dynasty has always been a pain in the hearts of the Chinese people. It is a century of national humiliation, from the Opium War, the Eight-Nation Alliance, the Sino-Japanese War, to the Russo-Japanese War. Each and every one of them is filled with anger engraved in our bones.

My initial idea was that the story begins with the protagonist in Northeast China, and the main era is during the Russo-Japanese War, when the two sides fought on the territory of the Qing Dynasty.

Of course, I only have a rough idea of the plot now. As for the details, I can only think while writing. It’s just that many people say that it’s hard to write about the late Qing Dynasty, but I still want to try. If it doesn’t work, there’s nothing I can do O(n_n)O

As for the time to publish the new book, after writing for a whole year, I decided to give myself two days off. On the 5th, I will start publishing the new book. I will also take this time to read more information about Northeast China in the late Qing Dynasty, as well as the military system and background of various countries in that era.

I have also thought of a name for the new book, which is more in line with the characteristics of this website. The long name is "My Struggle in the Republic of China".

Some friends said that the title of my new book is very inappropriate, but I swear I have no intention of imitating it.
