East China Sea, small fishing village.

When Su Ci approached a mud-brick house, he saw a thin man in a gray linen shirt, slightly hunched over, pulling something out in a newly-cultivated field.

Su Ci didn't say anything. He just stood there quietly, carefully looking at the person with his back to him.

He had lost a lot of weight, and the grey linen shirt he was wearing hung loosely on his body. He had a belt of the same colour tied around his waist, which made his waist look slender and so fragile that he looked as if a gust of wind could blow him away.

His back is not as straight as before, his shoulders are slightly hunched, and he has lost his previous spirit and looks much more depressed.

Looking at the person whose figure and temperament had changed drastically and who was completely different from before, Su Ci felt a little sad.

She let out the anger in her heart, tried to calm herself down, and then walked towards the man.

"Li Xiangyi..." Su Ci called softly.

The man's body paused slightly, and then he continued with his actions as if he didn't hear anything, ignoring Su Ci.

The man noticed Su Ci as soon as he approached here. He thought it was a stranger passing by, so he didn't pay any attention.

However, the person who came kept staring at him, and that burning gaze seemed to penetrate him, making it impossible for him to ignore it even if he wanted to.

Therefore, he was sure that this person was coming for him.

However, he was just an ordinary patient now. He didn't care who came to see him or why. If the visitor didn't speak, he would pretend not to know.

However, the three words "Li Xiangyi" finally broke his peace, but so what?

Li Xiangyi had already died in the East China Sea.

He is Li Lianhua, not Li Xiangyi.

Seeing that the man in front of him was pretending to be deaf and dumb, Su Ci took a deep breath and spoke again: "Sir, I'm sorry to bother you. I want to ask you about someone."

Li Lianhua sighed inwardly, stopped what she was doing, and slowly stood up with her hands on her knees.

He turned around, his eyes somewhat evasive, and said timidly: "Excuse me, young lady. If I know, I will tell you."

Su Ci looked at this pale-faced man with a weak voice. Tears welled up in his eyes and his eye sockets turned red.

She looked closely at the strange man in front of her. There was a scabbed scar on his left cheek, which was obviously caused by a sharp knife.

Her eyebrows have become lighter, there are a few faint pockmarks on her cheeks, and her skin is slightly yellowish, no longer as white as jade as before.

This is a face that is more pretty than stunning. Although it is not ugly, it is far from the previous handsome face.

No wonder the people from Si Gu Men almost turned the East China Sea upside down but couldn’t find him.

"A friend of mine disappeared more than a month ago. I heard that the last place he was seen was here, so I came here to try my luck and find him. Has your Excellency seen him?" Su Ci asked in a hoarse voice.

Li Lianhua looked at Su Ci who was almost in tears and felt a little overwhelmed.

He touched his nose, his eyes wandering: "This... I don't know what the girl's friend looks like, how do I know if she has seen him?"

Su Ci: "Oh, I don't know what he looks like now. I only know that he is about the same height as the young master, and he was seriously injured and poisoned."

Li Lianhua: "Ah... How can I find this? Why would a girl waste her time looking for someone she doesn't know what he looks like?

Besides, maybe the person you are looking for is already dead? Many people have died here during this period of time. The person you are looking for may be..."

As if realizing that his words were unpleasant to the ear, his voice became lower and lower, and he smiled at Su Ci in a flattering manner.

Su Ci raised his eyebrows, looked at him meaningfully and said, "That's true. Why waste time looking for someone you don't know what he looks like? What's more, he may not be willing to admit that he is my friend. Am I right?"

Li Lianhua felt a chill on her back, and she laughed, "Miss, you are joking. I am not your friend, so how can I know what he thinks?"

Su Ci didn't care about his answer, "My name is Su Ci, I haven't asked for your name yet."

Li Lianhua waved her hand and said, "I am just a country bumpkin. I don't deserve your courtesy. My name is Li Lianhua."
