The autumn wind was bleak, and the fallen leaves were fluttering. Everything around me seemed to be still, with only the occasional mountain breeze whispering in my ears.

After watching the Great Sage and Taoist Lu Ya walk further and further away until they disappeared at the end of the winding mountain road, Xiao Liuzi slowly came to his senses.

He shook his head and thought to himself: The Taoist said that I might become an emperor in my next life, but how can I solve this current predicament?

In the past, the Great Sage often helped me hunt. Now that he is gone, what can a mortal like me do?

Thinking of the difficulties, Xiao Liuzi's brows couldn't help but twist into a knot. The future seemed bleak and it made him breathless.

"Oh!" He sighed, his eyes inadvertently fell on the sika deer captured by Wukong, and he felt slightly relieved.

"No matter what the winter brings, at least I still have the deer, which is enough to sustain me for a while."

Thinking of this, he involuntarily quickened his pace and ran towards the deer shadow in the distance.

However, after taking only a few steps, Xiao Liuzi felt his feet stumble, as if he was tripped by some invisible force.

When he looked down, he was shocked to see the corpse of the python monster killed by Taoist Lu Ya under his feet.

The huge body of the python monster without its head lay on the ground, looking particularly desolate and terrifying.

What was even more surprising was that with this trip, a black rectangular wooden box fell out of the python's arms.

The box was surrounded by a subtle light, like stars in the night sky, and fell right at my feet.
