Both worlds are like dreams

Chapter 3 The Biggest Brothel

Following the green-clothed girl into the house, Xue Huang was shocked. The architecture of Jinxiu Tower was indeed many times better than those bamboo houses in Guigu that were leaking wind and rain.

The nine steps outside and the two extremely wide red doors are already very impressive, and the inside is even more magnificent, with carved railings and painted buildings, and brocade screens, it is extremely luxurious.

The sounds of stringed instruments linger in the ears, and guests come and go in an endless stream.

It was already dark outside, but inside the Jinxiu Building, colorful hexagonal lanterns with flying eaves hung all over the floor, illuminating the building with an incomparable brightness, and casting a glass-like glow on the gold and silver utensils.

Xue Huang also smelled a light floral scent, which was vague but refreshing.

The surroundings were full of guests, and the dancing girls' sleeves fluttered like butterflies among flowers. Apart from the stage, the entire first floor was filled with beautiful women in gorgeous clothes, some standing to solicit guests, while others nestled in the arms of a guest, drinking and having fun.

There is laughter and joy everywhere, and the world is full of joy.

Xuehuang's favorite place is the fish pond made of bluestone in the middle of the first floor. There is a half-person-high rockery in it, and it is designed with ingenious mechanisms to allow the water to flow in a cycle. Several red goldfish are very lively and are swimming happily around the blooming water lilies.

The layout of the entire first floor is very spacious, and although the materials used are very luxurious, they are still elegant.

There are several stairs opposite the door and in the surrounding corners, which lead to the second or third floor.

Xue Huang followed the woman in green and went up a staircase on the left. As she went upstairs, she accidentally caught a glimpse of two young men coming down the main staircase in the middle. They had unusual looks, so she took a closer look.

The woman in green brought Xue Huang to the third floor. This floor was obviously very quiet. They walked along the corridor until they reached the door of a room at the end.

There was a woman in red standing outside the door. She looked to be in her twenties, but she was stunningly beautiful.

Xue Huang felt that she was the legendary beauty who could bring disaster, the kind that could definitely cause the downfall of a country. She was really beautiful and charming, cold and aloof, but she also gave people a very gentle feeling.

"Sister," the woman in green said, "I've brought the person here. I'll go down first."

The woman in red nodded. "Go ahead."

Xue Huang listened to her gentle voice and felt a liking for her. "Sister, are you the owner of Jinxiu Tower?"

"I guess so." She said. "My name is Luo Ning."

What do you mean by "counted"? Is there someone else? Xue Huang thought about this for a moment, but didn't think much about it. She just said, "Then do you know me?"

"This is the first time I see you, too." The woman in red smiled. "But I have heard of you before."

"who?"

The woman in red gave a meaningful smile, "The person you've been looking for."

Hearing this, Xue Huang's eyes lit up and she quickly pushed open the door, and saw the black-clad figure standing by the window at a glance.

He stood with his back to the moonlight, but the outline of his body was still clear, as if no matter how the world passed, his edges and corners remained the same.

Hearing the door open, he turned around. It was a young man in his early twenties, with a fair face, sharp features, and black eyes like a cold pond, cold and wise, keeping strangers away.

"Second Uncle." Xue Huang called out happily, and flew over in a flash, opening her arms to hug the aloof and arrogant man.

As a result, the man didn't even blink, and the moment she rushed over, he turned around gracefully and avoided the extremely enthusiastic hug. But he still kindly grabbed the girl's collar to prevent her from falling out of the window.

Xue Huang struggled to break free, "Second Uncle, don't be so cold. I came here specifically to find you." The person Xue Huang was looking for was none other than her second uncle, Wei Yunzhou, the second disciple of the Guigu Sect.

Wei Yunzhou glanced at the woman outside the door. She nodded and left, but she couldn't hide the smile on her face. She hadn't seen a different expression on his face for a long time.

"Who asked you to come?" Wei Yunzhou looked at Xue Huang coldly. It would have been fine if you had just come, but you had actually ended up in a state where you couldn't even afford to eat.

It really brings shame to Guiguzi.

"You all left. I was very bored in Guigu, so I came out to play."

"Is that it?" Wei Yunzhou obviously didn't believe it.

"That's it." Xue Huang said angrily. "We agreed to go out and play together, but you all just ran away."

"Junior brother has also left the valley?"

"Yeah," Xue Huang pouted, "He's even more disloyal. He didn't even say hello."

Wei Yunzhou had a cold face and said nothing.

Xue Huang smiled and pulled his sleeve and shook it, "Uncle, I haven't seen you for such a long time, have you missed me?"

"No."

Xue Huang snorted, "Why are you becoming more and more cold? Be careful that you won't be able to find a wife."

Wei Yunzhou didn't say anything. He sat cross-legged at a low table beside him and said, "Come here."

Xue Huang immediately walked over and looked at the various delicacies prepared on the table. Her eyes almost lit up. She immediately picked up the chopsticks and started eating without hesitation. "Second Uncle, how did you know I was hungry?"

"After this meal, you must return to me immediately." Wei Yunzhou crossed his arms and looked at her coldly.

Xue Huang swallowed the food in her mouth, looked up at him, and then looked at the food on the table. These were her favorites, and they should have been specially prepared by Wei Yunzhou. "Did you know that I came to Shangyang City a long time ago?"

Wei Yunzhou nodded.

Sure enough. Xue Huang frowned, "Then why are you hiding from me when you know I'm looking for you?"

"I do." Wei Yunzhou said without raising his head.

Xue Huang choked and said, "Second Uncle, you are so heartless."

After a moment of silence, Wei Yunzhou took the initiative to speak, "How is Master?"

Xue Huang was busy eating. Upon hearing this, she casually said, "May you be blessed as vast as the East Sea and live as long as the Southern Mountains."

Wei Yunzhou twitched his lips and looked at her speechlessly. It was totally irrelevant.

The table fell silent again, with only Xue Huang eating seriously. Soon, more than half of the food on the plate was empty. As God knows, Xue Huang hadn't eaten such delicious food for a long time. Since she spent all her money, she had been living a life of hardship.

Wei Yunzhou sighed silently, poured her a glass of water, then picked up the bamboo slips on the table and began to read.

After two lines of writing, when he looked at the table again, all the plates were empty. The girl opposite him was eating contentedly and drinking water leisurely.

Wei Yunzhou had no choice but to put down the bamboo slips, then picked up a heavy black and gold-painted purse from the side and threw it in front of Xue Huang.

"After you have eaten and drunk enough, go back."

"I won't!" Xue Huang refused, but quickly put the money bag away. "Jinxiu Tower is such a fun place, I will stay for a few more days."

"Senior brother is traveling in Tianqi, you can go find him."

Xue Huang stared at him intently, "Second Uncle, why did you insist on sending me away? Are you hiding something from me?"
