Hearing the footsteps coming from outside the valley, Lin Yuwei and Shen Mo became nervous instantly.

"Shh, don't make any sound." Shen Mo said in a low voice, while tightening the sword in his hand.

Lin Yuwei nodded, held her breath, and stared at the direction of the valley entrance.

The footsteps were getting closer and closer, and every step seemed to step on their hearts. Shen Mo quietly stood up and hid behind a big rock, ready to respond to any emergency at any time.

A moment later, a figure appeared at the entrance of the valley. Just as Lin Yuwei was about to exclaim, Shen Mo quickly covered her mouth and signaled her to observe first.

The person who came was an old man in ragged clothes. He walked unsteadily, leaning on a cane in his hand, and looked very tired.
