Conferred Gods: Master Tongtian is my master

"The calamity is coming, and you should be able to sense it. The cause of this calamity is mainly related to the Twelve Golden Immortals of the Chan Sect. These disciples of Yuanshi have committed the calamity of the mortal world and are facing the punishment of death."

After hearing Daozu's words, Yuanshi stood up in a hurry and said anxiously:

"It is my fault that I failed to discipline my disciples well. Please forgive me, Master."

Daozu's expression remained unchanged, and he continued:

"Please sit down first. I called you here to discuss the matter of the catastrophe. You also know that in the prehistoric world, every catastrophe, from the beginning to the end, will involve countless prehistoric creatures, with blood flowing like a river and corpses everywhere."

Taiqing Laozi was indeed a man of unparalleled wisdom and resourcefulness. Based on Daozu's expression and words, he deduced that Daozu already had a way to deal with the catastrophe.

So, Taiqing Laozi said calmly:

"Master, although we are saints, we also know the seriousness of the catastrophe. We can't come up with any solution at the moment. Please teach me, Master."

The other saints also echoed Taiqing's words. Although they didn't know why he said that, they felt it was right to follow Laozi's words, because he had a smart brain.

Daozu looked at Taiqing Laozi and thought, "Taiqing really has won my heart. I was still worrying about how I could solve this catastrophe, and he paved the way for me."

"Since you all don't have any way to deal with it, I have a way. What do you think it is?"

As he spoke, he took out a scroll and it appeared in Daozu's hands.

When several people saw this thing, they were confused. Looking at the fluctuations of spiritual power around the scroll, they could tell that it was a top-grade innate spiritual treasure, but they didn't know what it was specifically.

"This is a heavenly book called "The List of Conferred Gods"."

"It's actually the Book of Heaven. I know that the Book of Earth 'Mirror of Heaven and Earth' is in the hands of Zhen Yuanzi, and the Book of Life and Death 'Book of Man' is in the hands of Niangniang Pingxin. “If during the catastrophe, any of our disciples die, their spirits can be included in the Investiture of the Gods, becoming righteous gods in heaven and enjoying the incense of the world. Even if their spirits are shattered, they can be resurrected with the help of the Investiture of the Gods.”

Daozu continued:

"However, if you are included in the Conferred God List, you will be subject to the constraints of the Heavenly Court and must perform your duties as a god. Moreover, your cultivation will stagnate at the level before you are included in the list, and you cannot improve your cultivation."

The saints were confused when they heard this. Is this a good place to go? This is not just a worker in the Heavenly Palace. This time, the calamity was specially selected for Haotian to work.

"Master, since I started practicing, I have never accepted a single disciple. In the entire Wahuang Palace, apart from the disciples, there are only a few maids left. Therefore, I will not participate in this Conferred God List."

After Nuwa finished speaking, the Saint Taiqing said calmly:

"There is only one disciple of our sect, Xuandu, who is the only successor of our Taoist lineage. He cannot be on the list, but I can send a good corpse to be on the list. As for the remaining places for the Conferred Gods, our sect will not participate."

After saying this, he closed his eyes and said no more.

Taiqing Laozi bowed to Daozu again and said calmly:

"Master, I wonder what this catastrophe is called?"
