God's Gift

Fang Ziang's tears flowed freely from the intense pain, quickly mingling with the salty seawater.

In the extreme pain, memories of his past death surged back. Fang Ziang looked at Yu Youyou, his pupils trembling, his voice filled with fear:

"Yu Youyou, I'm not... I'm not going to die again, am I?"

"No, you'll be alright," Yu Youyou's voice came through a layer of mist.

The voice seemed to be hers, yet it was no longer hers. It was a vibration condensed from countless epochs of time, and when she spoke, it was as if the gods, separated by trillions of years of time, spoke in unison with her.

She gently placed her hand on the hideous wound on Fang Ziang's chest, and the light of her blessing instantly filled the hole in his chest, causing his wound to heal quickly.

She looked up at Fang Ziang's tearful eyes and whispered comfortingly, "Don't be afraid."

The blessing instantly masked Fang Ziang's pain. Looking at his gradually healing wound, then at Yu Youyou, a stranger he dared not approach, Fang Ziang suddenly laughed twice.

"Just kidding, why would I be scared?"

Yu Youyou smiled and didn't say anything. She looked up at Lu Keming and Anxing in the distance.

She raised her hand, and the flames that had trapped Lu Keming suddenly went out. Lu Keming broke free from the encirclement and stared blankly at Yu Youyou.

Yu Youyou looked in the direction of Dark Star, and to Dark Star's astonishment, she stepped on the waves and flashed to its side.

Dark Star looked at the crumbling statues of the gods around him, a hint of panic finally creeping into his eyes: "You've obtained their divine power..."

"No wonder you went to great lengths to make me fall into a deep sleep with you; it was all for this day."

Dark Star's voice suddenly turned gloomy, and it gritted its teeth as it said, "You really have a good plan."

Before she could finish speaking, Yu Youyou kicked it. A flash of white light erupted, and the immense force propelled Dark Star like a meteor into the bottom of the cliff, producing a deafening roar.

After the stirred-up silt settled, a huge pit gradually came into view.

Fang Ziang looked at the still somewhat murky seawater, clutched his chest, took a step back, and exclaimed in surprise:

"Is it... dead?"

Before Fang Ziang could finish speaking, a dark red light shone from the seabed and rushed toward Yu Youyou at an extremely fast speed.

At the very tip of the red light was Dark Star, which had just been smashed into the bottom of the cliff.

Yu Youyou looked at the Dark Star rushing towards her and raised her hand to block it.

At the moment the dark star crashed in, a tremendous roar resounded, and two blinding beams of light illuminated the seabed.

The two beams of light resisted each other, neither giving an inch.

Dark Star looked at Yu Youyou, whose strength was now almost equal to its own, gritted its teeth, and finally realized that her prophecy might not be false.

Its eyes turned cold, and it stared fiercely at Yu Youyou:

"Oxi, since you want me dead, then you won't escape either!"

The moment it finished speaking, a beam of red light pierced through the ocean, burst through the clouds, and finally reached the depths of the universe.

A planet has broken out of its orbit and is hurtling toward Earth.

"Damn, this is really the end." Fang Ziang looked at the massive planet getting closer and closer outside the atmosphere, and his vision went black.

Yu Youyou looked at the planets above her head, her brows furrowed, and then suddenly looked up at the dark star.

Dark Star laughed, gripping Yu Youyou tightly: "See that? That's me."

Yu Youyou's gaze froze for a moment, then shifted back to the sky. Through the sea and clouds, the planet drew closer and closer, finally allowing Yu Youyou to see its shape.

It was a planet very similar to Earth, where the sea and land were clearly visible beneath a thin atmosphere.

But the ocean was gray, and the land was full of scars and holes.

"I used to love them just as naively as you do..."

"But what have I gained?" Dark Star's voice was filled with deep-seated hatred: "They emptied me out and then abandoned me."

"I'm just trying to help you."

"Since you don't appreciate it," Dark Star's eyes were ferocious, "I, you, and this planet—no one will escape."
