Crossing the Gods as Slaves

A blue sports car stopped in front of the "Yunxian Hotel" in the early hours of the morning. Sid and Tess got out of the car and walked in in the night.

Tis explained to the front desk that he had left his room card outside. After the service staff verified Sid's identity, they finally opened the door of the suite on the 78th floor for them.

Tis and Sid both guessed that Asani should have fallen asleep, but when they opened the door, they saw her sitting by the door with her legs hugged. When she heard the door open, she rubbed her eyes and said dazedly, "Mom, is Dad here?"

When Sid heard Ashney's greeting, his eyes became sore. Tis had already walked over and picked up Ashney, and asked her, "Baby, why are you sitting on the floor? Can't you wait on the bed?"

Asheni hugged Tis's neck and said, "I'm afraid that I'll fall asleep when Dad comes, and I won't be able to see him." Tis heard Asheni's sweet answer, and tears immediately fell, dripping into Asheni's nightgown. Tis patted her on the back twice and said, "Dad is here, do you want him to hold you?"

Asani nodded and stretched out her arms to Sid: "Dad, hold me..."

Sid immediately took Arsenie in his arms and kissed her on the cheeks affectionately: "Arsenie, Daddy really misses you..."

Arseny buried her face in Sid's neck and called him softly, "Dad, Arseny misses you too."

Sid carried Arthur to the bed and sat him down. Tis walked over and touched her forehead. She found that it was no longer hot. She asked her, "Where's Auntie Lenna? Did she give you medicine?"

Asani pointed to the medicine bowl on the table and replied, "I've already taken the medicine twice. I was very good and drank it all. Auntie Lunna took my temperature and watched me fall asleep before she left."

Tis praised her: "Baby is so good."

Ashney immediately showed a satisfied smile: "Good boy Ashney, can mom and dad sleep with me tonight? In my fairy tale book, Pink Pig sleeps between mom and dad every day, but dad is never at home, so I never have the chance to sleep between mom and dad."

After hearing Ashney's request, Tess immediately looked at Sid worriedly. She was worried that Sid would misunderstand that she was the one who taught Ashney what she said.

Sid glanced at Tis coldly, then lowered his head and said to Asheni gently, "Dad must satisfy Asheni's request. Are you sleepy? Let's go to sleep now, okay?"

Arseny hugged Sid's neck and said "OK" obediently. Sid then put Arseny in the middle of the bed and covered her with a blanket. Arseny opened her eyes wide and looked back and forth between Sid and Des: "Mom and Dad, go take a shower. I'll wait for you here and won't fall asleep first."

Sid was amused by Ashenee's innocence and kissed her on the cheek again before saying, "Dad will be there soon."

Sid stood up and took Tis to take a "bath".

As soon as she entered the bathroom, Tis immediately raised her finger and swore in a low voice: "I swear on my beauty, I didn't teach her to say that."

Sid pressed Tis against the bathroom wall and lowered his voice as well: "Stop playing tricks. I don't believe a word you say. I warn you, don't let the child get involved in our affairs. I just want Ashenee to grow up without worries."

Tess nodded vigorously at Sid: "I think so too. Since we have the same goal, I hope that next time when Arthur is around, you can be friendlier to her mother, at least don't strangle me like you are now." Tess pointed at Sid's hand on her neck.

Sid stood up, released his arm that was pinning her down, and told Tis in a normal speaking voice, "Go find me some pajamas."
