Crossing the Gods as Slaves

Early in the morning, Sid received the commander's order to "come over" and hurried to the commander's mansion.

It snowed heavily in the imperial capital today. In the short distance from when Sid got off the aircraft to when he stepped into the commander's mansion, a thin layer of snow had already fallen on his shoulders. He took off his coat and handed it to the waiter behind him.

Gene was waiting in the hall to greet Sid early. When he saw Sid coming in, he immediately saluted and then took Sid to the commander's study.

When Xide saw Lu Xiu, he did not greet him but sat down on the sofa. The first thing he said was, "Where is your maid? Call her out so I can take a look."

Lu Xiu ignored Sid and told Gene to pour water for Sid.

"If I remember correctly, it seems that no one has forced you to be with a woman in the past ten years or so? Even Primo has given up." Sid looked at Lu Xiu with interest in his eyes.

Lu Xiu said calmly, "You're not mistaken."

Sid crossed his legs, leaned back into the sofa, and raised his hand to smooth his hair. "That's weird. He took the initiative to bring a woman home. Is this still the Lu Xiu I know? Could he be a spy from another galaxy?"

Lu Xiu chuckled and said, "Don't be funny. I want to talk to you about serious matters."

"No, please. You finally get the hang of it. Let me see who is the person who can put you on the right track. There are so many advantages of being a woman, don't you think?" Sid raised his eyebrows at Lu Xiu.

Lu Xiu knew what he was thinking, and said helplessly: "It's not what you think."

"Oh? What's going on?" Sid asked with a curious look.

Lu Xiu thought for a moment and said, "I think my condition may be abnormal. I am still observing myself."

"So, she is another test subject? How boring. I thought you were all well." Sid said regretfully.

Lu Xiu thought about his strange illness and didn't know what to say for a moment. After hesitating for a while, he still didn't say anything. He always felt that it would be very embarrassing to talk about it.

So Lu Xiu changed the subject: "There has been a new riot in the Alfer Star Region. I have sent people to suppress it, but for safety reasons, you should go there in person after the New Year."

When Lu Xiu started talking about business, Sid's smile faded. He said in a serious tone, "Okay, I'll go there after the New Year."

"There's no need to be so anxious. You've only been back for a few days. Take a rest first. There's another thing. Come here." Lu Xiu turned on the projection on the desktop. A map appeared in front of the two of them. Lu Xiu pointed at the screen and started talking.

The more Sid listened, the more solemn his expression became.

The two talked from morning to afternoon, and didn't even have time to eat lunch. They just chewed a few tablets of energy supplements during that time.

After the conversation was finally over, Sid's expression had changed from solemn to excited. In his excitement, he suggested: "Ask your little maid to bring some food over. She's always hungry every time she comes to your place."

Hearing Sid mention Ning Hua again, Lu Xiu thought to himself, "I don't know what she is doing now," so he pressed the communication button to ask Ning Hua to send some snacks over, but no one answered.

Sid had just suggested it casually, but he didn't expect Lu Xiu to agree. He sat back on the sofa and crossed his legs.
