The Ghost King steadied himself and shouted, "Concentrate your energy and do it in one go!"

The three of them exerted their full strength once again, pouring their spiritual energy into it continuously. Finally, the light on the treasure chest gradually dimmed, and the restriction was successfully broken.

The treasure chest slowly opened, and inside was an ancient book emitting a mysterious light. Xiao Dai couldn't wait to reach out and take it, but was stopped by the Ghost King.

The Ghost King said solemnly: "Don't act rashly, this scroll may be extraordinary."

Ling Xue nodded in agreement: "That's right, be careful of scams."

The three of them gathered in front of the treasure chest, carefully observing the mysterious book. Suddenly, the book automatically floated up, the pages turned quickly, and rays of light shot out in all directions.

Xiao Dai was so scared that he stepped back repeatedly: "What's going on?"

Ling Xue also became nervous: "I don't know whether it is a blessing or a curse."

After the light faded, lines of ancient text appeared on the scroll. These words seemed to have life and jumped into the minds of the three people.

The Ghost King only felt a throbbing pain in his head. He endured the discomfort and tried hard to understand the meaning of these words.

Ling Xue closed her eyes tightly, frowned, and tried hard to sort out the information that flooded into her mind.

Xiao Dai held his head and cried out in pain: "No, my head is going to explode!"

At this moment, the scroll suddenly turned into a stream of light and entered the ghost king's body. The ghost king's body trembled, his eyes closed tightly, and he fell into a coma.

Lingxue and Xiaodai were suddenly panicked.

Xiaodai nodded, and the two of them took the unconscious Ghost King and looked for a quiet corner in the ruins.

Xiao Dai walked out of the cave carefully to check, and saw a group of strange-looking ghost beasts approaching. There was a greedy light in their eyes, as if they were attracted by the treasure in the ruins.

Xiao Dai took a deep breath and shouted loudly: "Who are you? Don't come near!"

The ghost beasts ignored Xiao Dai's warning and rushed over with their fangs and claws bared. Xiao Dai was not afraid at all and raised his sword to meet the enemy.

Ling Xue, who was in the cave, heard the noise outside and felt her heart tighten, but she did not dare to stop to heal the Ghost King.

Xiaodai fought a fierce battle with the ghost beasts, and many wounds gradually appeared on his body.

Just as Xiao Dai was gradually running out of strength, the Ghost King suddenly woke up and flew out of the cave. With a sharp look in his eyes and a wave of the magic weapon in his hand, his powerful ghost power instantly repelled several ghost beasts.

"Brother Ghost King, you finally woke up!" Xiaodai was overjoyed.

The Ghost King said in a deep voice: "Let's deal with these guys first!"

The Ghost King and Xiao Dai fought side by side, working in perfect harmony, and the ghost beasts gradually lost the upper hand. Ling Xue also walked out of the cave and joined the battle. She cast a strange spell, and with a flash of light, several ghost beasts fell to the ground in an instant.

Seeing that the situation was not good, the ghost beasts fled in all directions.
