HP: Let professors walk towards the light

Chapter 32 Malfoy's Future

The year-end dinner ended with the general celebration of Slytherin, and the students' test results were also announced. Among the first years, Hermione was first in the grade, Draco was second (our master got very angry about this and was unwilling to accept this result), Ravenlock was third, and our Reina barely got fourth in the grade.

Just after one incident at the year-end dinner, Reina successfully became famous among the first-year students, second only to the savior. And every Slytherin student remembered this first-year student, Talros, who defeated the savior Potter and was the key figure in winning Slytherin's seven consecutive championships.

Hemalena said, why did everything suddenly become so high-profile?

"Rena Rena, come to Parkinson Manor during the holidays. Father and the others are looking forward to it. And remember to write to me!"

Hermalena was invited by Draco to sit in Malfoy's exclusive carriage. Everyone had said goodbye to Hogwarts and started their journey home.

Pansy talked about her holiday plans, where to travel, what kind of parties to attend, and who to invite to her house, and so on and so forth.

"Pansy, you've been telling me all the way, Lena, you promised me that you would go to the Malfoy's." Draco supported his head and watched the two of them talking and laughing.

"In that case, shouldn't I, Zabini, invite you as well? But we may only have gold Galleons to entertain you." Blaise picked up the black tea on the table and took a sip.

"Is your family so poor that you only have gold Galleons, Blaise?" Pansy looked at him and chuckled.

"I do have a say in this matter. Can you believe it? Last Christmas Blaise actually gave me five gold Galleons. He didn't even want to wrap them up and just put them in an envelope containing a greeting card and let an owl bring it to me." Lena said to Pansy.

"You can do this, you are worthy of being Blaise. Lena, if you want some gold Galleons for your birthday, I'll give them to you." Draco said.

"This is very convenient." Blaise took another sip of red tea.

"If you give me gold Galleons, I will convert them all into copper Knuts as your gift." Lena said to Draco with a forced smile.

"It sounds like Reina would really do that. Draco, I think you'd better not do that, hahaha." Pansy smiled.

Just like that, the train pulled into King's Cross Station amid the students' last laughter and chatter of the semester, and stopped at Platform 9?, symbolizing the official end of the first academic year. Just as it had greeted us from different directions at the beginning, it now waved goodbye and headed in different directions.

There is still a long time in the future, and our story has just begun.

<From the head of the Malfoy family>

Dear Mr. Lucius Malfoy:

I greet you as the head of House Talros, good day sir!

Please allow me to write to you so presumptuously and take up your precious time. I am sorry. This letter is to rebuild the deep friendship between the families. I am very grateful that the Malfoy family still maintains business relations with Talros after my father's death. For this reason, I have a good deal and hope to meet with you, Mr. Malfoy. The time and place are up to you.

I hope you can give me this opportunity. I personally think that this transaction will be beneficial to your future development. I believe it will bring you good returns. I am looking forward to cooperating with you.

I'm sorry again for taking up your precious time. I write this letter with the most sincere attitude. I hope you can take the time to reply to me despite your busy schedule.

In addition, this matter should not be known to others, including your son Draco, of course. I hope you can understand.

Celebration

The family prospers and its glory lasts forever.

"Welcome. Draco has gone to Goyle's house. Tea and snacks are ready in the study. Come with me." Narcissa spoke gently and led her to the study on the second floor.

When I opened the study door, Lucius was standing next to the bookshelf.

"Lucius, the guests have arrived."

Narcissa smiled at him, and Lucius closed the book in his hand and walked to the sofa and sat down.

"Thank you for your hard work, Xixi. Go and do your work."

Narcissa nodded and closed the door as she left, leaving Lucius and Hermalena alone.

"Please, how should I address you, Master of the Talros family?" Lucius raised his chin arrogantly and spoke in a drawn-out chanting tone.

"Please feel free to do as you please, Master Malfoy." Reina just smiled, sat down and picked up the tea on the table.

"Well, Tallos, let's get straight to the point and talk about your so-called deal."

"It just so happens that I don't really like those polite words." Reina put down her teacup, sat up straight, and continued, "The deal I'm going to discuss next is about the future of the Malfoy family, so I hope you can take my identity seriously, sir."

"You dare to talk about the future of the Malfoy family? Then I want to hear what you have to talk about." Lucius said disdainfully.

"I suppose Draco has already told you about my departure at the end of term."

“Only a half-understanding.”

"I have seen him, sir."

Lucius frowned, as if he had thought of something, and asked in a low voice: "Who?"

"The mysterious man - Voldemort..."

"Okay, I don't know where you get the courage from, but don't say that name anymore. I get it. So, what do you want to say?" Lucius interrupted her directly.

"I mean, he's going to come back sooner or later, right?"

"What does that mean?"

"A Death Eater family that not only cleared itself of suspicion after the You-Know-Who's defeat, avoiding charges and prison life, but also returned to the upper class with a perfect reputation. What do you think the Malfoy family should do after his resurrection?"

"He won't come back..." Lucius pretended to be calm and unmoved.

"Then let me tell you, Malfoy will no longer have the same honorable status in front of the You-Know-Who as before, and you will have to work hard to restore the You-Know-Who's trust and to protect Draco and your wife, but the You-Know-Who is not so easily satisfied. He can easily sell you out and control everything in the Malfoy family by controlling Draco. What do you think the honor of the Malfoy family over the years can count for in front of the You-Know-Who?" Lena picked up a biscuit, looked at it, and continued.

"It's just a way to expand power and make money. If the You-Know-Who wins, the Malfoy family will be squeezed dry in a few years. If they lose, what will happen? They will either be affected by the war or continue to be accused and sent to Azkaban. Do you think the Malfoy family can withstand a few blows?"

"Humph, this is all just your imagination." Lucius sneered.

"I am an outsider and I can see it, but I don't believe that you, Mr. Malfoy, who is in the middle of it, can't see it?"

"He won't come back."

"Do you believe this yourself? I saw him not long ago. He escaped that night. Maybe he is wandering around somewhere now, waiting for the right time to attack."

"..."

"Have you considered a way out? As soon as he is resurrected, you will definitely be summoned, right?"

"So you're here to scare me with these words?"

"I said, I am here to trade with you, and I also mentioned that this deal is related to Malfoy's future - this is just my stepping stone, Master Malfoy, I am here to visit you as the Master of the Talros family."
