HP: Let professors walk towards the light

Chapter 21 Draco's Suspicion

?

"Merlin! We almost ran into Professor McGonagall. This is so dangerous, Harry." Hermione's voice came from the stairs. Although it was very soft, it was just loud enough for Reina and Draco to hear, but they couldn't see where it was because of the wall.

"No one would have known that Professor McGonagall would appear on the top of the tower so late. Fortunately, we were not discovered."

"If we are caught, we will definitely be fired. No one would raise a dragon in school!"

"No, it looks like Hagrid is planning to do that," Harry said helplessly. If it weren't for Charlie, they really wouldn't know what to do.

They walked up to the top of the tower and came under the night sky. They took off their invisibility cloaks, revealing the wooden box they were holding. Norbert was moving non-stop in the box. Just now, when Professor McGonagall walked past them, the invisibility cloak almost didn't work.

"Great, we're finally going to send it away, I really want to sing!" Hermione turned around on the top of the tower and started dancing.

"Don't sing," Harry warned.

They came to the center of the top of the tower, put the wooden box away, and leaned against each other to count the stars. In the corner, Draco was furious at the two people's leisurely appearance. If it weren't for Reina holding him back, he would have rushed out directly.

"If you go out now, you can't do anything except being furious. Do you still want to run down and pull Professor McGonagall up?" Rena said to Draco.

"But are we just going to let them go like this? Their people will be here soon, and the dragon will be taken away!"

"Then what else can you do? Do you have to hurt the enemy by a thousand and lose eight hundred of your own?"

"...Damn it! It's too easy for them!"

After a while, four people appeared from the darkness on brooms and landed on the top of the tower. Several of them were talking and laughing as they used ropes to lift up the box containing Norbert and tied it to their brooms, leaving the box hanging between the four people.

"Draco, someone is coming, we should go!" Lena found that the monitoring spell she cast downstairs was triggered again, and hurriedly said to Draco.

Although Draco was reluctant, he still followed Lena away.

Filch was waiting on the stairs. He heard the voices of students talking on the top of the tower. He hid himself in a dark corner, ready to wait.

Lena cast an "illusion spell" and pulled Draco straight down the stairs.

Draco also saw Filch's actions, and his heart, which had just risen in his chest, was suppressed again by Reina's actions.

The two of them ran all the way back to the lounge, and what happened afterwards had nothing to do with them.

Draco lay on the sofa and asked breathlessly: "Lei, Lena, why are you there too?"

"I saw Weasley's letter. I knew you would go, so I thought about going to take a look. But I was right." Lena took a sip of water and glanced at Draco.

"If you are caught strolling at night, you will be deducted more than one or two points, Master Draco."

"I see. Thank...thank you." Draco turned his head away and didn't look at Lena.

"You should have listened to me. You should know that I didn't have to make this trip. You were almost discovered by Professor McGonagall. You know what would have happened."

"By the way, why do you know so many spells? Confusion Charm, Illusion Charm, these are not spells we will come into contact with, and my father never taught me. Where did you learn them from?" Draco asked suddenly.

“These aren’t actually that difficult…”

"Are you trying to fool me again? Goyle and Crabbe might believe you, but do you think you can fool me? I'm a Malfoy, I know what those spells are, Hermalena, you'd better tell the truth." Draco said coldly.

"So you're questioning me with this attitude now, Malfoy? Someone who just saved you with these spells, and now you're questioning how she learned them? I didn't know you were capable of this, it's amazing."

Lena narrowed her eyes and sat opposite Draco without any panic. The two of them just stood there, neither of them willing to give in. One was the heir to the ancient and noble Malfoy family of twenty-eight pure bloods, and the other was the young head of the emerging pure blood Talros family who was powerful enough to give in. The silence between the two was like a war without gunpowder, as if they were gambling with all their strength.

Draco: Tell me what you are hiding.

Hermalena: You have no right to interfere in my affairs.

Draco: I am Malfoy, and for the honor of Platinum, I have to see your value and sincerity.

Hermalena: Then you can use Malfoy's name to investigate the background of the head of the Tarlos family and see if the result threatens the glory of Platinum.

Draco: Are you declaring war on Malfoy?

Hermalena: I did not start the war, and I did not take the family honor with me, Master Malfoy.

Draco: So you're not going to tell me?

Hermalena: Knowing or not knowing will not pose any threat to you and your family.

Draco: So...

Hermalena: As you think.

"Hahaha!" Draco suddenly laughed out loud, put down his crossed legs, rubbed his hair, stood up and walked back to his dormitory.

Reina also smiled and returned to her dormitory. After locking the door, she lay on the bed and rubbed her face vigorously with her hands.

Something went wrong. Something went wrong. Tonight's night walk was completely a sudden whim, which means that Draco had been suspicious for a long time. Logically speaking, Draco would not be so sharp at this time. So, was it Lucius or Severus?

What exactly aroused suspicion?

No, that's not right. There was nothing particularly strange about her behavior. Even if she had shown surprising abilities in the past, she had never exposed herself too early. Moreover, she was only in front of Hermione and Draco this time...

and many more!

The professor... seemed to be a little too focused on himself at the beginning? I haven't had much interaction with the professor recently, and I have forgotten this strange point.

But why is this happening?

It feels like there's too much extra information in this life, the departure of my parents, the soul curse, Draco's suspicion, it's so weird.

Hopefully, it won't get too out of control.

[“Are you an idiot? After you died, you shouldn’t have come to Hogwarts again. The farther away from Potter the better. You shouldn’t have gotten involved in this mess again! And you want to be a Death Eater? Do you think you have the ability to be a savior and save the world?

Or do you think that they were saved by a child like you, and then they would be grateful and give you the Order of Merlin after your death, and write it in history for future generations to recite?"

"You think I'm trying to save the world? You think I've never thought about leaving? I even thought about casting a spell on myself to end it all! Savior, huh, I never wanted to be a hero.

Who do you think I am doing this for, Harry? He is just a weapon raised by Dumbledore. What does it have to do with me? Everything I do is for you, Severus Snape, a fool who wraps guilt in love! It’s wonderful to immerse yourself in your own world, right? What qualifications do you have to criticize me? Do you think I don’t know who traded everything with Dumbledore just to protect the son of Lily Evans, who would rather take on everything to be a double agent, and who would look into Potter’s eyes before dying! What qualifications do you have to judge my behavior! "】
